Mime Jr, the master of BBP LC

First off, it has two great abilities in Soundproof and Filter. Soundproof negates a pretty good chunk of moves, it's pretty simple, pretty effective. Blocks Sing, blocks Perish Song if something has that for some reason, blocks Boomburst, it blocks good stuff. Filter adds to its already pretty decent bulk, meaning that hitting it super effectively isn't even that much better than just spamming STABs, considering it doesn't have a 4x weakness.



Speaking of spamming STABs, it's pretty good at that- it has rank 5 attack it gets Psychic (the move) at Stage 1 for some reason? Dazzling Gleam is a bit weaker but could work in the super niche 1* doubles, or if they have Double Team, or if they're weaker to Fairy than they are to Psychic (which, Fairy is really good coverage for Psychic-types, and vice versa). It gets both screens, although Reflect is generally less useful than Barrier because rip screens nerf, it gets Protect (which it can pair with a screen before it goes down), it has Double Slap for punishing charge-up moves, it has Copycat and Mimic in case the opponent uses a cool move Mime Jr wants, Substitute to block status (60 speed isn't blazing fast, but it's not bad for an LC mon), it can steal abilities with Role Play, Teeter Dance if spamming Psybeam/Confusion/Psybeam to fish for Confusion (while holding back) isn't your thing, it can Baton Pass out of bad matchups (not that many exist) and even pass some Barriers while it goes, this thing is nuts, the more I look at it the better it really gets.



And its stats are actually kinda solid, Attack and to a lesser extent HP non-withstanding. 70 HP will let it down, but 70/4/7 bulk is pretty good. Like I said before, 60 isn't fast, but it isn't cripplingly slow either. And rank 5 SpA is pretty good, especially alongside its high BP STABs.



It does lose to Poison/Dark mons, though. Like, really bad. But, hey, it can BP to a partner for those, or try to cheese with Teeter Dance, Barrier, and just pray for good rolls on Double Slap.
