Majora's Mask any% - 2013 route race

# About #

In this race, the players are following the ~mid 2013 Majora's Mask any% route (from roughly 2 years ago).
This is a fun race, the goal is especially to show newer runners and players what MM any% was like 2 years ago and to see how they can deal with the old strats and difficulties, but also to give older runners a chance to have that nostalgia feeling and go back to the "good old days" of climbing stone tower, for example. After all, I hope it brings old and new runners together for some fun and a good time :)

As of now (07/05/2015), there is no date set for this race. Also, I have no idea how many participants there will be. So I am only trying to find out if there is any demand for this.
More details on the race and how it will be set up will be given as soon as I have an idea of how big it will be.
I am open for suggestions or corrections. Just tweet at me (@enting1991).

10 days later (07/15/2015), I guess 9 people are interested - including myself, this would be 10 participants (listed below). So I guess a normal SRL race would do.
I would suggest to do this race on the weekend from 24th to 26th of July - the weekend at which SGDQ kicks off. Participants are European and American, so we should try to find a time that fits both "parties".

I recommend you to check out a PB video back from ~mid 2013 if you have trouble understanding parts of that route.

The players do NOT have to follow the route 1:1. Everyone is free to use slower and/or easier strats, backups or alternatives as they please, as long as the used glitches and strategies have been known back in ~mid 2013.
This means you are not allowed to use Index Warp to skip climbing Stone Tower, or to use new BK skips to make it easier and faster.
--> So for example, not knowing how to do the STT BK skip does not mean you can just do the new one even though it is slower overall as you would have to get explosives beforehand in this route anyway.
But: small differences won't be punished if they're obviously caused by "muscle memory", as long as they're not obviously banned. I'm thinking of for example emptying your bottle in PF, or equips, or some setups (like the "new" PF barrel longjump, the "new" PF recoil slash into 2nd egg room, or the "new" setup for ISTT longjump (explicitly mentioned in the route pastebin!).

Or to make it short: common sense applies. And after all, this is for fun so don't worry about it too much :)
