- >"Noodles, again?" asked Cozy, sitting down at the table for dinner.
- >"I'm afraid so," said Astral. "But this time, I put onions in the soup."
- >Cozy poked at her bowl. "Aren't you tired of these by now?"
- >"Yes, I am. We'll get something else at the store, next time. I promise. Now eat up, before it gets cold."
- >The two dug in, filling the kitchen with sounds of wet slurping.
- >"Astral?"
- >"Yes, Cozy?"
- >"...What's crumping?"
- >Astral choaked expelling noodles from her nose. "Cozy! Where did you hear something like that?"
- >"I heard some colts at school talking about it. They stopped when they saw me, though. What is it?"
- >"That's NOT something for you, young miss! Promise me you'll stay away from those colts. They'll only get you in trouble!"
- >"But Astral..."
- >"But nothing! Promise."
- >"...stupid colts." she sighed, dejectedly. "I promise." She stared down at her bowl and thought to herself: '...I'll crump them 6 ways from moonday, whatever it is.'
- >"Cozy!!"

- >The two sat on Cozy's bed in the soft warm light of the setting sun as it shone through the window.
- >Cozy threw up in her mouth a little but managed to swallow it back down. "Eww. Why do colts have to be so gross all the time?"
- >"That's because they're colts, Cozy," said Astral. "It's why mares run everything."
- >Cozy nodded.
- >"Now promise me, for real this time."
- >"Believe me! I don't want any part of that or... that, thing."
- >Astral pat Cozy on her head and thought to herself 'You might, someday. But not today.' She smiled at Cozy, speaking out loud, "Don't ever grow up. You're too precious."
- >"I know!" giggled Cozy. "But Booping is ok, right?"
- >"Cozy?"
