  5. Ugyen Project Manager Department of Renewable Energy <p>Mr. Ugyen joined civil service in the year 2006 as an engineer. Over the years, he has been involved in many renewable energy related projects implemented by the Government, particulary the micro hydropower project, solar and biomass energy initiatives. Currently, he is spearheading the "Bhutan Sustainable Biomass Energy Project" funded by GEF, UNDP and other development partners in his capacity as the National Project Manager.</p> <p>He holds bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India; Postgraduate certificate in Energy Studies, Postgraduate Diploma in Energy Studies, and Master of Science in Renewable Energy from the Murdoch University, WA, Australia.</p> Alternate Energy Division

Tashi Wangchuk Forestry Officer Department of Forests and Park Services <p>Mr. Tashi Wangchuk currently works as the Forestry Officer in Social Forestry and Extension Division (SFED), Department of Forests and Park Services under Ministry of Agriculture and Forests. He has been working in the Dzongkhags as Dzongkhag Forestry Officer for more than 18 years before he was transferred to SFED in early 2013.</p> <p>In SFED, he also works with various international donor agencies like World Bank, Swiss Development Corporation, etc. among others.
