  3. Building Ladders: The most important thing to be taken care of while building a ladder is avoiding being shot by enemy archers. To accomplish that, for the beginning, it is a good idea to hide your wood blocks so archers cannot spot you. To do this, you simply drop the wood blocks and the repair hammer, take the blocks first then the hammer. If you sheathe your hammer, your wood blocks will stop appearing behind you. The second thing to do to avoid being shot is waiting and not revealing your wood blocks until the shield wall for the ladder is completed. Once the shield wall is complete and the infantry starts jumping, you should immediately take your hammer, position yourself behind the shield wall so you can't be shot, then begin building the ladder.

  7. Repairing Doors: Since you cannot possibly build ladders in your castle, the only thing you can do is to repair the doors. Most would think of repairing the doors after the siege is over. But it is actually quite possible and useful to repair it repeatedly right after every time the enemy breaks it, while being behind a shield wall. To be able to do this, you need a container full of wood blocks (branches aren't effective) near the gates you are going to repair. For small sieges, depending on the type of the gate, a saddlebag with wood blocks can be enough. But if there is a chance that the siege will last long, you must prepare a horse cart with wood blocks. It is also a good idea to put one or two lines of shields at below so the infantry holding the shield wall can take them as theirs are broken after a while. For the fact some types of doors are quite buggy, try getting used to repair them beforehand as not every direction works in repairing them. Also, try to find out which gates will be held with a shield wall before placing the wood container.
  8. Spawn Carts: Spawn carts hold a serious importance in defensive sieges since they can change the shift of the war. They should be prepared in the morning if possible and hidden in a wall near the spawn point of our castle. It is also important to use hand carts (24 slots) since enemy cannot pick them from the spawn with cart horses, providing your newly spawned members a safe source of weapons. At least one of these should be revealed and put to the spawn before the enemy comes.

  12. Restocking: Restocking of main weapons, such has spiked maces, crossbows or bows, must be done at early hours of the day, for the fact people always need them no matter the hour. So try getting on at early hours if possible. Also, this website can be useful loppen.com/PW/

  14. Spawn and Food Carts

  16. Remember to hide them in a wall in a safe place. Some castles in some maps have quite good corners which remove the cart from sight but still allows it to be taken back with a cart horse. Make sure to inform a member of the leadership of the location of these carts after you prepared and hid them.
