- "Skybound Cedar! Gather and be together!"
- She makes her way to the firepit, which is already crackling merrily, and puts her paw into a pouch at her hip, throwing a handful of powder into the flames, which roar skyward and blaze a bright blue for a moment. When the flames return to their usual colour, they flicker and dance, the gauntlet at the sept thin enough for spirits of flame to cross over, chattering excitedly in spirit-tongue. More spirits linger in the trees, the glittering moon-silver eyes of owl spirits and the spiraling antlers of deer-spirits visible among the branches, while water and air spirits spiral overhead, ever-watchful of their fiery brethren.
- "We call this Moot to renew the bonds to our sister septs, and the honour the blessed children of Bat, who return to our loving arms! Gaia wipes her tears this night, for our beloved children shape the fate of the Garou Nation! Mighty Thunderbird sings in all our hearts this night, and he will listen and share the tale of the children of Bat!"
- Sure enough, the blue smoke of the bonfire coalesces into the shape of Thunderbird, who unfurls like a flower and rockets skyward, leaving a trail of sparks behind him as he streaks toward the beautiful silver face of Luna. Lightning spirits crackle in his wake, giggling stormcrows and smiling foxes of pure static.
- Glass Walker 06/18/2018
- Oh boy oh boy oh boy.
- Stargazer 06/18/2018
- Oh I'm boutta get the spotlight aren't I
- Black Fury06/18/2018
- Wow. Thunderbird is a very... magnificent and showy spirit, isn't he? One hell of a show th-... Wait. Bat? Children of Bat? Bat returning? What?!
- Pawprint's standing there rather proudly, chest puffed out and tail wagging
- Glass Walker 06/18/2018
- Zor just has a stupidly big grin on her face.
- Shadow Lord 06/18/2018
- Elis seems rather startled, finally looking up from his lap. Bat??
- Black Fury 06/18/2018
- Nicole looks at Elis, wondering if he heard the same thing she did. Bat???
- Glass Walker 06/18/2018
- That grin just gets bigger.
- Shadow Lord 06/18/2018
- Mar throws another handful of powder on the fire, beckoning the pack to come stand with the elders so they may share their story. Overhead, Thunderbird circles through the trees, flickering in and out of sight.
- Glass Walker 06/18/2018
- There she goes. Look at that walk.
- (Mostly, she's just proud of her sister.)
- Stargazer 06/18/2018
- Ain't no amount of wonderwall gonna cover this one. There she goes the big dumb bat herself. Should she shift or what.
- Black Fury 06/18/2018
- Pawprint keeps his nose held pretty high, striding forward to take his place, still wagging.
- Balam 06/18/2018
- Reva grins as she follows the pack, looking proud and energetic as ever.
- Shadow Lord 06/18/2018
- "I give you the ears of your septmates now, so you may gift us with your tale, children." She bows her head slightly, stepping back so the pack can ring the fire.
- Stargazer 06/18/2018
- Would it be inappropriate to belt this out to the tune of The Fresh Prince theme?
- ... fucking intrusive thoughts
- Glass Walker 06/18/2018
- Okay don't panic. Breathe. The bats depend on you. Be even better if they just decided to show up. "Hello! Long time no see, huh? I bring to you a tale of a lost breed, and a spirit who chose my own flesh and blood to be her champion in the new age! This is a story, of how my sister's life got flip turned upside down."
- Stargazer 06/18/2018
- In the back you can hear Noel howling laughing.
- Balam06/18/2018
- Reva just has to take a moment to whisper "Glass Walkers"
- Black Fury 06/18/2018
- You can pinpoint the moment Pawprint tries his best to not crumple into himself.
- Balam06/18/2018
- Leon is trying to not but ends up with silent snickers into his Brother's shoulder
- Black Fury 06/18/2018
- [did she just........]
- Glass Walker 06/18/2018
- "Long ago, as we all know, the Garou Nation brought itself shame by turning on its own brothers and sisters. None of us have forgotten, it is an unforgiveable crime that should not be spoken of in jest or in levity. It was a tragedy. And not in the least of those tragedies was the loss of Gaia's messengers, the Camazotz, the werebats. They became unable to make themselves more, and Bat was dragged down by the Wyrm's talons. Some whispers say that those who remained fled to the Deep Umbra, hiding away that they may mourn a Totem that fell away from them.
- "For hundreds on hundreds of years, they were thought lost. Bat was assumed to be a totem of the Wyrm's mongrel monsters, but none could say for sure whether she truly was happy there, serving mutated, slimy, rot-stinking, slavering mockeries of Garou. After all, she had suffered so many losses. When the Wyrm fell, she lost her place in the arms of the Triat to corruption and rage, and when the War of Rage occurred, she lost her beloved children.
- "But surely, as long as those last few Camazotz still lived, one has to wonder if there might be some sliver of hope for poor Bat? Some tiny glimmer that one day, a patron would be born who embodied so perfectly what it means to be one of Bat's children, what it means to be a Camazotz, that she might wish to return to Gaia's side?"

- The gathered sept howls and barks in reply, urging the Glass Walker on in her tale, the spirits around them drawing closer and closer with each word; flame-spirits dance in rings around her, while an owl-spirit keens out its curious, questioning call of whooo? whoo? Even Luna overhead seems to grow brighter, as if the Incarna herself is listening, watching.
- Black Fury 06/18/2018
- Her heart is beating a bit faster, leaning in and enraptured. This sept is more remarkable than she ever thought, if they managed to make something like this possible...
