  1. So, my original Displaced idea before Golden Drive was a story about a guy who was wearing an Attack On Titan jacket and ends up getting displaced by a man in robes. He ends up in Equestria acquiring powers, but he has no idea just WHAT powers he has. Through process of elimination, he figures he's part of the Top Ten rookies AND a Titan Shifter, but that still leaves plenty of possibilities he has.
  2.
  3. For the entirety of the fanfic, he stays with Fluttershy, who is well aware of his Shifter powers. Basically the story would be about him figuring out who he is. The story ramps up somewhere during the Canterlot Wedding when the dude who displaced him shows up and fights Chrysalis.
  4.
  5. Basically the scene goes like this:
  6.
  7. Chrysalis fires a beam at the robed figure and it seemed like he would be dead for sure... However, as the smoke cleared, a bright reddish light showed up. To the ponies, it looked akin to a unique kind of shield. For the protagonist, though, it was clearly a message he could see in a video game. The message stood in front of the robed figure, unscathed from the blast. The message read: <<IMMORTAL OBJECT>>
  8.
  9. And basically it's revealed he's a Displaced Heathcliff. But that's basically it for his story.
  10.
  11. At some point, he finally DOES figure out who he is via him having nightmares and he ends up freaking out.
  12.
  13. It turns out that the whole time, he was NOT transforming into Rogue like he thought he would, but rather Female. The story's climax would be him trying to not become a villain with his friends helping him. Eventually, he makes a point that he is not who he is dressed up as and that he is himself. Afterwards, he makes a token and hands it to Flutters.
  14.
  15. The plotting in retrospect is more slice of lifey than action-packed. Perhaps that might be good if the Displaced Genre needs a breath of fresh air.
