As they darted this way and that, they enacted a second plan, concocted in the heat of the moment. Improvised, yes, but it was the best they had. Distracting The Other with the army created by Bad Company, they used Achtung Baby to vanish momentarily, giving The Other the slip long enough to prepare another attack.

“Shit,” Letter noted, “he’s not buying it. You got a shot?”

“Yeah,” Yellow said, aiming with a golden cannon-like device on her arm. She fired center mass, the dart provided by the stand Ratt landing dead center in the Terminator’s body and sinking in harmlessly. A moment passed, and The Other paused long enough to regard the dart and its origin in calm silence. With the attack, Achtung Baby had been disabled, rendering them totally visible, which also meant that The Other could see the other stand they’d been using.
