  1. [16:13] With the coming of the Lieutenant came the cold of winter, the wind picking up gradually in her wake. Her eyes are set upon the form of the Eternal, a man who she had seen once prior during an exchange. That was many years ago, though.
  2.
  3. "Oscuri."
  4.
  5. Her tone is cold, yet full of conviction and authority. Rikona's countenance is shrouded by an austere expression. A golden light begins to emanate around her, denoting her attunement to the lifestream which Dawn had so little care for.
  6.
  7. "I am Rikona Heifang, Lieutenant of the Fourfold army. I have come to conduct a patrol in the area, but I will not allow you to walk away easily. I recommend you prepare yourself, for the justice of his Majesty is swift."
  8.
  9. Rikona manipulated the water molecules in the air, using her prowess in visual casting. Icicles began to form, to serve as projectiles. A woman so cold on the exterior, yet warm to those who she deemed innocent.
  10.
  11. This would serve as a test, to see if her recent training in ice proficiency would pay off.
  12. (Rikona Heifang)
  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14.
  15. [16:18] Unknown as the Eternal Alastor G. Vishkar who once communicated with many of them. The one who often sent them mixed feelings through letters, the purple-haired one simply allows his irises to fall upon Rikona. Upon her exhibition of her aura, he furrows down his eyebrows.
  16.
  17. "Really?" He says, the disappointment in his tone rather obvious, half-lidded eyes making sure she could probably see it in his expression anyway. "You're going to approach with me, introducing yourself while trying to attack? We're..."
  18.
  19. He glances around for a moment. Rieka shimmers -- But not yet so much. It simply is bright enough to illuminate his face, and only some of such. "Not even in the middle of a raid, Rikona." A long exhale.
  20.
  21. Arms crossing in front of him, he simply stands there, waiting to see if she would domore. "Believe me, Rikona. If a Lieutenant would intimidate me... I wouldn't be where I am."
  22. (Alastor G. Vishkar)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [16:25] It wasn't the reaction she was expecting, certainly. The man who had exchanged in insulting letters with her Commander, the one who was supposed to be a military leader.
  26.
  27. "The previous Oscuri I faced in battle said something to the same effect. Ophelia, I believe her name was? I gave her a chance, allowed her to repent and recant her ways of sin of corruption. She clung to her upbringing, dying for the sake of staying true to her 'Morninglord'."
  28.
  29. Rikona shook her head, balls of holy infused water forming around her frame. They soon froze over, directed towards Alastor.
  30.
  31. "As much as I'd love to chat, our people are at war. So long as you dabble in Chaos, Riftmancy, Necromancy, and others corrupt arts- we will not relent. We will save the innocents that you brainwash in your settlement. So please, prepare yourself. Unless you'll come quietly?"
  32.
  33. Should he disagree, Rikona would dash forwards, becoming the aggressor.
  34. (Rikona Heifang)
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  36.
  37. [16:30] Alastor didn't seem to budge any at her words, even if it was only for her words themselves that caused no reaction from him.
  38.
  39. "Y'should try to think before talking, dear. The amount of bullshit you spew per minute is -really- going to get people tired someday." The lips tug themselves into a smug smirk. "Think about how it'd be the other way around, stupid. That's why no one likes Huangzhou; You're all forcing yourselves to look like barbarians thirsty for blood."
  40.
  41. The ball of holy water formed, and caused him to dash to the side, blade still at his back. Nevertheless, at the time she spoke yet again, Rieka took over his eyes for a brief second. And then, the blade was removed. Upon her second mention of corrupt arts, however, his rieka FLARES wide.
  42.
  43. Position taken, one hand to his back. "Fine. You won't allow me to go away without a fight; I understand that you really want to protect the Nethradin. That's..." The same smirk continues on his expression as he speaks, even if she is charging towards him.
  44.
  45. "Very orderly! I'd love to know how long it'll take for you to take my body to Malentine!" A cackle, although his posture does not break.
  46.
  47. If she wants to be the aggressor...
  48.
  49. ... Well, he would respond in equal measure.
  50. (Alastor G. Vishkar)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [16:38] ** Alastor G. Vishkar has inflicted an injury upon Rikona Heifang. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-20 Vit)") **
  54. [16:51] Rikona's first few icicles hit Alastor straight to the torso, penetrating through the purple outfit. Perhaps it is the sensation of his own blood flowing out, or the pain itself that came forth. The next few icicles were daftly deflected by the Oscuri, if not outright mitigated by a strong Holy aura.
  55.
  56. And once she gets into close enough range, even if he's hurt... She is met by a strong barrage of Rieka to her face, forcing her mana circuits to shut down. Whatever gestures, words or anything she tried to do to evoke her magic; Nothing worked.
  57.
  58. Her water magic managed to hurt him, but he went mostly through her holy magic with his own sheer affinity to the arts. The Righteousness of Azrael empowered him as she retreated, causing wings to barely come into view...
  59.
  60. Until he dashed towards her himself. He was quick and decisive. It was a single blow, one to end the fight. Rapier buried deep onto her right shoulder, coming out the other way. The sheer strength that his blow forced was enough to break the connecting bones, as well as make the Rieka spread from the edges of his blade onto the insides of her body, almost like a possessive disease by itself.
  61.
  62. "Listen here..." He took the moment for himself, before she could push away. The other hand simply moved towards her back, and made sure she would stay. "I don't want to hurt you. I don't want to hurt your people. Hear Alastor's words instead of acting stupid."
  63.
  64. A smug smirk spread across his face. Perhaps he still wanted to make sure she wouldn't know it was truly him; Luckily, she hadn't recognized the symbol of the Eternal, given it was such a new rank. "If you step into my lands, I'm taking you. If you hurt my people, I'm hurting you back."
  65.
  66. That blow wasn't the end of it. His arm moved upwards, twirling some; Ready to amputate her arm and move towards her neck, aiming to provide a swift, rather painful death. But, perhaps his mistake, intentional or not, was to undo the close grip.
  67. (Alastor G. Vishkar)
  68. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  69.
  70. [16:59] It would be clear that she was completely out of her element. The silencing of her magical circuits was something that she had never experienced before.
  71.
  72. Despite this, she pressed onwards, persevering even though facing what seemed to be insurmountable odds. His speed and precision proved to be too much, even if she were deft herself.
  73.
  74. With the last blow, she was sent backwards onto the hard ground. Clutching her shoulder, she used her mixture of holy magic and attunement to soothe the pain, whilst gritting her teeth. Icy irises stared back up at the Oscuri, listening to his words.
  75.
  76. "We will not relent, as I said. Even if I fall today, I will stand proud in the light of the Emperor. We will meet again, on the field of war, this much I assure you."
  77.
  78. With that, Rikona would recollect herself. Along with the pierced shoulder, she retained bruises, burns and scrapes.
  79.
  80. She had no intention of allowing herself to fall so behind others. The Lieutenant fully intended on mastering her ice prowess. She had no shame in being the aggressor of this.
  81. (Rikona Heifang)
  82. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  83.
  84. [17:07] His second strike wasn't quick enough to finish her there. It landed upon the ground, perhaps too blinded by his own hatred; Although the way that his blade barely even touched the ground was almost like everything was previously calculated with precision.
  85.
  86. "BYE BYE THEN, BITCH!" He yelled from a distance, Rieka still shining outwards. He would usually try to follow, but for now, he sent the message. "NEXT TIME YOU SEE SOMEONE WALKING AROUND, BE SURE TO ATTACK THEM WITHOUT PRETTY MUCH ANY WARNING! " He continued, arms to the side, yelling from the top of his lungs.
  87.
  88. Deep breaths, before he yelled at a more controlled tone. Rieka toned down, yet it still expanded outwardly, possessing the world around him and staining it with the obnoxious, bright and possessive green. "Don't forget to stop being so zealotry and study some strategy! It'd do some good for your DUMB FUCKING STUPID military!" A small outburst. Not everything was perfect.
  89.
  90. That last strike left him exhausted; It worked, but at what cost? He was tired... "Bitch." A single retort, muttered to himself. His arms hurt, likely due to the sheer strength and speed of that puncturing blow.
  91.
  92. Nevertheless, he sheathed the weapon again.
  93.
  94. And decided to walk back to Dawn. His mission to Crafthold was ruined.
  95. (Alastor G. Vishkar)
