  1. Tiger Girl
  2. "Megalopa, a monster living on the Trojan shore since ancient times, has a giant body and strong clamping claws. Although passersby's bring trouble on themselves by attacking Megalopa feeling threatened by its horrible appearance, Megalopa has no interest in anything unless hungry or attacked first."
  3.
  4. But who is the girl who rides this great beast...
  5. This is her story...
  6.
  7. It was a dark night of one of the coldest winters known to the Jangan people. The storms raged for days, and showed no end. In one small house, a woman was giving birth. The local shaman came to the aid when the husband called. The woman had been in labor for 16 hours and was near death. The shaman came and used herbs and incense to calm the woman down. At the 18th hour she gave birth, and soon after passed away. When the shaman took the child in his arms he had great visions of death and battle. He told the father that this child would be a scourge to the people of this city, and many would die to her wickedness. Fearing for the village the shaman put her down and took out his knife. Before he was able to give the death blow to the child the father took the knife and killed the shaman. His love for his daughter could not see her die. He took the child and some belongings and left Jangan. The wind blew and the snow surged around the child and father. He stole her away from the city before anyone knew what was happening. The night grew colder the further he went from the city. He went along the main road and saw many campfires but was afraid to stop. He kept walking in a daze till he could walk no longer. He stopped near the base of the Hohyeosl Mountain range, there he found an abandoned cave where he sought shelter for him and his baby. With no dry wood to light a fire, he just bundled himself up and held his baby in his arms.
  8.
  9. The following morning he was dead. With the body heat of the father soon escaping from the bundle he made that night, the baby started to experience extreme cold and started to cry. From deep inside the cave a tiger approached the noise. The tiger went up to the baby and when it did, the baby halted its crys. They locked eyes with each other. The tiger gingerly picked up the baby with its mouth and carried it deep inside the cave, the other tigers of the den walked past them and shread the father to pieces. This tiger cared for the baby, giving the baby everything it needed. When the young girl grew up, she looked from the edge of the cave at all the other humans passing by and hated them. Yet she did not know hate, nor why to hate, but she knew. Soon when she reached adult hood the tiger Megalopa appeared before her. Through some unspoken words she mounted him with her spear and set out on the Silkroad. There she tasted human blood for the first time. Her and Megalopa fought and killed many a travelers, although sometimes a great warrior would come seeking glory and fight Tiger Girl and Megalopa sending them back to thier den to seek shelter and recovery. She is a constant reminder to those traveling the Silkroad that there are some evils which need to be conquered, and some who will remain a mystery.
  10. Cerberus
  11. "Cerberus born of Typhon and Echidna used to guard Hell ruled by Orthus and Hades, keeping the live from entering and the dead from leaving it. When Orpheus who participated in the Argonauts goes to Hell to rescue his wife Eurydice who died after being bitten by a venomous snake, he plays the lyre to make Cerberus fall asleep to pass through the gates. Heracles catches Cerberus alive and brings him down to the ground to fulfill the last of his 12 missions."
  12.
  13. And this is the beasts story...
  14.
  15. In the time of Gods, titans, beasts, and other mystical creatures. Here in the Underworld lived Hades and his wife Persephone. Hades, who was the God of the Underworld, was in charge of keeping the dead. He was not the one to pass out judgements to the dead but just the warden in thier prison. But where there is a warden, there must be guards. That brings us to Cerberus. Cerberus is a three-headed dog with a dragon for a tail. He guarded the Underworld from the living trying to enter, and the dead trying to leave.
  16.
  17. One day, the son of the almighty Zeus, Heracles came to the Underworld. There he asked his uncle, Hades if he may take Cerberus up to the surface to see Eurystheus and prove to him that the beast Cerberus could be conquered. Hades agreed to let Heracles take Cerberus to the surface but on the one condition that he must only use his raw strength to win against him. So Hercales prepared himself and appeared before Cerberus' snarling heads. Heracles jumped at Cerberus before he could lunge one of his monsterous heads at him. Heracles grabbed one of the heads with his arm, while with the other arm fighting off the other heads. Soon Heracles had in his grip two of the three heads, and before too long he had conquered the beast. Cerberus allowed himself to be chained and followed Heracles to the surface.
  18.
  19. During Cerberus's short dissapearance from the gates of the Underworld, many a desperate mortals stole thier way into the Underworld and retrieved the souls of lost loved ones. Also many a dangerous souls escaped the clutches of the Underworld. When Cerberus returned to his post of the Underworld gate, Hades ordered him to return to the surface and catch the souls of the departed and return them to thier rightful places. So Cerberus leaves his post at the gates and travels to the surface to retrieve the dead.
  20. But Cerberus's anger over losing so many souls makes him forget about his current task. He occasionaly attacks helpless victims, before a warrior as strong as Heralces appears to bring him back to the Underworld.
  21. Uruchi
  22. "This is the boss of the Black Robber and was the famous brave general of the Tang Empire. This escapes to here with the subordinates who became the rebels and manages to thieve. But some day this is ready to return to the Jangan and revenge the ministers."
  23.
  24. And here is his story...
  25.
  26. Uruchi was raised on a small farm on the outskirts of Jangan. He spent most of his young adult life tilling the fields and raising pigs.
  27. Then one day a messenger came from the Emperor's imperial army. They were looking for all young men to join in what the emperor called "God's army". His familys farm was not doing well that year due to a famine so he decided to join in the army and send most of his gold to his parents to help them in thier time of need. He went that day to Jangan to sign up.
  28.
  29. At once the generals there noticed he had a great sence of leadership and authority. They gave him his own squadron of 50 men after basic training. After a month of doing little raids on the Hun border, the emperor declared that they must take back certain lands given to him by god. So with the army assembled and on the move to the border, reports came in that the huns had gathered thier own army. The generals gave the orders and battle formations were made. Uruchi's squad was on the left flank, which was the weakest side. The generals did not like his arrogance and natural ability to lead and gain favor amongst the troops. They had hoped that the huns would notice the weakness in thier left flank and kill Uruchi in the process. They did notice the weakness, but so did Uruchi. So secretly, Uruchi and his squadron split from the battle group and snuck into the forests nearby.
  30.
  31. There they made thier way into the hun base while they slept. Uruchi told his squad of what he thought of thier generals and told them they would appeal to the Emperor's lust for glory themselves. In the huns base they went from tent to tent, cutting the throats of thier enemys, and scalping them. They killed off nearly 200 huns before discovered, once discovered they dissapeared into the forests and returned to camp. There they stormed into the emperors campsite and showed them the scalps of thier enemys. While the Emperor, and all of his generals, discussed whether or not to kill the rebelious squadron, a scout appeared and informed the Emperor and the generals that the hun army was in disaray, reports of abandonment and retreat were coming in.
  32.
  33. The Emperor knowing that it was Uruchi's doing, ordered the other Generals to take thier troops and attack pushing them back. Uruchi and his squad were hailed as heros and treated respectively. Uruchi got promoted to general, all those in his squad were promoted too. The army pushed the huns back and took back the land that the Emperor said was his. Uruchi's old squad and new battlion were soon known as the Black Hell. The Emperor sent Uruchi and his men first every time there was a battle to be fought. The other generals became infuriated that a low-class farmboy had taken the positions they had so sought after. They started to scheme plans with thier friends in the ministry .
  34.
  35. The generals soon had the ministers telling the Emperor lies that Uruchi was going to murder him and sieze control of the Dynasty. The ministers then ordered the army to find Uruchi and his battlion and kill them all for treason. Uruchi found out about the plan to murder him and acted first. He told his battalion, all whom were loyal to him, to head for the Tarim Basin. Then him and his origianl squadron snuck past the army dressed in common garb, and murdered the generals and snuck out. Once Uruchi had reached his battalion in the Tarim Basin he told them what had happened and of what his plans were. They would make a base here and fight the Emperor and his ministers. They would take thier money and goods from those traveling the Silkroad. All those who did not have badges of their battalion would be killed on site. Word soon reached the Emperor that there was an organized group of robbers who stalked the Tarim Basin. The Emperor infuriated that Uruchi esaped put out a bounty on his head. It stated: TO ALL HEROS OF CHINA, AND TRAVELERS OF THE SILKROAD. URUCHI, ONCE A GREAT GENERAL OF THE TANG DYNASTY, HAS BETRAYED THE EMPEROR. GREAT HONOR AND REWARD AWAIT THOSE WHO BRING ME HIS BODY. WHO WILL ACHIEVE THIS GREAT TASK FOR THE EMPEROR?
  36. Captain Ivy
  37. "Captain Ivy commanding Evil Order, the troops in control of Asia Minor, is a female warrior whose murky past was stained with blood. Leading a chequered life, she came upon an ancient relic and met the fallen angel Seniel sealed therein. Deceived by Seniel into believing that he is her lover Fiore, she is given power by Seniel and is in control of Asia Minor, commanding the Evil Order and consolidating her power by putting pirates under her control. At first look, she appears to be a weak woman but her improved crossbow attached to her arm and pincer attack with Eagle Drake wields a spectacular power."
  38.
  39. And this is her story...
  40.
  41. The sea slapped against the hull of the Vengeful Lady. Her captain, Captain Ivy, held the wheel straight and stood tall on the deck. Her crew slid accross the deck trying to hold on for thier lives. Another man overboard, that was the third one in this violent storm she thought. The deck hands peered over the side as they watched thier crewman be swallowed up by the sea. The scout on the crow's nest screams something over the noise, land. The navigator peers though the telescope and finds a cove where they can seek cover from this storm. As they pull into the cove, the cover brought by the natural land formations slows the push and pull of the boat to a steady rock. Anchors are set, and ale is brought out. Captain Ivy releaves herself from the deck and retires to her cabin. There she leans back in her chair with her wine in one hand, and a tattered map in the other. In the morning, she leaves the ship and rows to the shore, alone. With her daggers in hand, and the map securly tucked away she embarks on her mission.
  42.
  43. It was a month previous that they happened upon a lone ship. They boarded it and murdered those who resisted. They found in its hold religous relics and church gold. Ivy personally searches the captains quarters. Upon entering she notices maps spread accross the table, with books scattered around the floor. Being a pirate her whole life she knew from that moment what this meant. They were in search of something. She examines the maps and comes to the conclusion that they were heading to the island of Sovi. As she was reaching for a tattered piece of paper, a young boy jumped out from underneath the table and grabs it. She aims her armbow at the young boy demanding he release the paper. The young boy shakes his head and bolts to the fireplace, but before he could get there Ivy shoots him in the back. With his dieing strength he lunges for the fireplace and throws the parchment into it. Ivy dives after the parchment and prevents the whole thing from being burned. When she opened it, it revealed a map of the island Sovi, and of something that was burried there. The part that got burned was some sort of inscription, but all she could make out was a name, Seniel.
  44.
  45. She reached the first landmark on the map. A tree in the shape of a monkey. From here she had to travel west for 300 paces till she found a rock with a face. From there it led her deeper into the forest till she came upon the base of the volcano. She found there a cave, which is where the map stopped. Inside the cave were gold necklaces and rings. Deeper in she found armor that was plated in gold and silver. Even further in was a shelf of helmets. There were of all shapes and sizes, some made of iron, others gold, but one was made of cloth. If asked later why she picked up the one made of cloth, she would have told you that it called to her. When she picked it up a strong wind blew through the cave, and blew out her torch. Once she re-lit it, she found herself in a different room. The walls were all decorated with paintings and designs. The floor made of jade tile. As she explored these new rooms, a light appeared at the end of the hallway. When she got there, she dropped her torch and put her hands to her mouth. On a bed layed her lover, Fiore. She had not seen Fiore for almost 2 years, ever since he took command of his own ship. Noticing her entrance he jumped up and embraced her. He told her of his captivity a few months ago by the wretched people of Asia Minor. He told her that they had placed an enchantment on this place so that he could never leave. So Ivy exclaimed to Fiore that she would break this enchantment no matter what cost. They made love that night, and when Ivy awoke, Fiore was gone. She looked for him all day, but could not find him. She wrote him a note saying that she would avenge him, and defeat his captors. She left the caves, and went back aboard her ship. She told the crew that they now would venture with her to Asia Minor, there they would form an army and destroy all things good. When they reached Asia Minor, to Ivy's suprise, they saw an army already assembled at the shore. She felt a great power rush over her like fire. She grinned towards the mainland, and prepared herself.
  46. Isyutaru
  47. "The Isyutaru was expelled from the Himalaya and came to the Karakoram due to the discord between the sisters, as the young sister of 2 daughters of the God of Snow who governs the Himalaya. Owing to the Isyutaru, the Karakoram becomes covered with the dead glacier, is changed to the death zone and becomes the bitters for the travelers of the Silk Road."
  48.
  49. So here is the story of Isyutaru...
  50.
  51. In the begining there were two gods. The god of Night, and the god of Day. They lived in harmony for some time. There was always enough day, and just enough night. Until a dispute between them caused a void in the universe. From this void 5 lesser god appeared. They were the gods of the Sun, Moon, Wind, Rain, and Snow. From the appearance of these lesser gods, they Night and Day god agreed to a truce. They both concluded that they needed to govern these lesser gods as to avoid themselves being overthrown. To each god, Night and Day, one lesser god would be under complete control. The Night god chose the Moon god. The Day god chose the Sun god. The others fell under joint governship. And for a time it too was good. The sun gave just enough light during the day, and the moon gave also just enough light during the night. The wind was never too strong, the rain never too hard, and the snow never fell too much. But soon the lesser gods felt just as thier higher gods did. They had too many tasks to complete in one day.
  52.
  53. So the god of Snow, birthed two daughters. Kamisuro and Isyutaru. Kamisuro was the goddess of Coldness. Isyutaru was the goddess of Ice. These three lived in peace atop the Himalaya's highest peak. There they lived in a palace made of snow made by the god of Snow. Kamisuro gifted her father one day by freezing his palace made of snow so that it would never melt, and never lose its grace. The god of Snow loved his new palace and vowed he would make her objects of snow all over the Himalaya's for her to freeze. Isyutaru became envious of her older sister and turned the palace into ice. Kamisuro confonted her sister about why she ruined the palace. Isyutaur now even more enraged by her sisters arrogance began to fight with her older sister. Thier battle, since battles between gods are not silent, caused the whole mountain to shake. Thier fathers palace colapsed just as the god of Snow returned from creating more snow. Demanding he be told what happened, and why his beautiful house is now a rubble of ice. Isyutaru trying to sound innocent spoke first. Her father, being a higher god, knew she spoke of lies. In her last act of anger Isyutaru threw an icicle towards her father, Kamisuro blocked the shot with her shoulder. Ever since that day, the cold has brought ice. The god of Snow now irate at Isyutaru banished her from the Himalaya's forever. He sent her to Karakoram where it is said in the blink of an eye, the whole landscape was forever changed. Cities were destroyed, whole landscapes were tunred into ice. Since that time those who live in Karakoram tell storys of a hero that will come and defeat Isyutaru and send her back to the void where she came from.
  54. Lord Yarkan
  55. "This the old load(lord, JM typo) of the Niya. He stabbed himself to death with the ruin of the Niya empire. His soul not relieved wanders about in the real world and longs for the past honor in the Niya."
  56.
  57. And this is his stoy...
  58.
  59. The oldest of the tribes along the Takla Makan desert tell storys of Lord Yarkan. He was once the greatest leader the Niya ever had. They say he was 100 years old when he appeared to the people of Niya. The Takla Markan was never always the way it looked now. It was once a lush jungle, with forests so thick and valleys so deep that those who did not know their way around, would surely die. The Niya lived deep in this mysterious land. They had the best armies in the land, the best shamans, the best drink, and the best women. Thier natural defences of the jungle made opposing armies unable to reach thier cities. So it only made everyone wonder what happened to them.
  60.
  61. Lord Yarkan appeared to the people of the Niya as thier own leader was fading in health. He walked out of the jungle tired but unscathed. The patrol who found him said that he appeared and old man walking out of the jungle. But when they brought him into a building his youth quickly returned to him. They called the chief shaman to examine this man. The shaman called upon the spirits and gods of the land, and they told him that this man was to be thier next leader. They hurridely carried him to the palace, to the same room that thier leader faded in. For as the leaders of the Niya die, they pass on thier knowledge to their predeccesor. With the ritualistic passing of knowledge, the old leader died. Yarkan on the other had never awoke. Every shaman came and did what they could to wake thier new leader, but to no success. Weeks passed, soon months, then years. For 100 years thier lord slept.
  62.
  63. A young boy, whom noone remembers his name, has a dream. He sees his lord awaking, and there being rejoicement in the streets. Food and drink were thrown in celebration. A bottle of wine being thrown against a wall, but wine did not spill. Instead the young boy saw blood.
  64.
  65. On the 100th year anniversery of thier lords appearance, he awakes. He proclaims he has seen the future of the Niya. He orders the armies to defeat thier enemies in battle. And they do. He tells the shamans to bless all the women of the Niya with fertility. 20 years later he had the best army in all the land. None were stronger and none were faster. His armies went out all accross the Tarim Basin and conquered the land.
  66.
  67. But soon after his complete control over the land. The people of the Niya started noticing changes in thier enviorment. The weather started getting too hot. The water level dropped drastically almost overnight. The jungle started to wither away. Lord Yarkan fearing that it was his enemies casting a spell on his people, ordered the shaman to counter thier enemies attacks. The shaman told Lord Yarkan that there was no human enemies that were doing this. From this Lord Yarkan then gave the shaman's 2 incantations to cast over the Niya people to protect them. The first incantation was given to the common folk of the Niya, this spell allowed them to fade away unable to be harmed. The second was given to the troops. This incantation was a little more gruesome. Upon reading it the shamans were witness to a horriffic site. The souls of thier Niya warriors were ripped away from thier bodys. The souls then ripped apart thier own bodies taking the bones. The shamans tried to flee but Lord Yarkan was there blocking thier exit. He made them read the incantation to one another. Upon thier "deaths" Lord Yarkan was the only one left. He walked along his once beautiful home only to see bodies scattered accross the now forming sand. He spoke a few soft words to himself, and then stabbed himself. His soul exited from his body, and ripped himself apart.
  68.
  69. From that day, the Niya people have been protecting thier home in hopes that the land will once again return itself to its original glory and beauty, and Lord Yarkan is waiting with them.
  70. Demon Shaitan
  71. He once attempted to take revenge on Roc with the aid of an evil god but failed, now only to be controlled by and submit to Roc. He is always accompanied by the evil god, and his magic and summoning powers have transcended the power of humans."
  72.
  73. And this is his story...
  74.
  75. Shaitan was once a messenger of God. One of the higher angels sent from God to spread his messages accross this world. His seat of power sat next to God himself, but lower. But God's love over his human creations made Shaitan jealous. Soon Shaitan raised his chair to be equal with God himself. God smited Shiatan banishing him from heaven to live forever on the human plane. He was not the only one to be banished from heaven though. He soon made powerful allies with God's enemies. His white wings, soon changed into wings made of a flesh looking material. His angelic shape changed too. The pride of heaven looked as if he was made from the deapths of hell. His wings, in thier new shape were unable to fully support his weight for long flights. He so longed for his ability to soar in the sky again that he took his saddness out on all creatures that soared the skys. He destroyed entire flocks of ancient birds.
  76.
  77. One day as Shaitan was basking in the sun taking in his glory of the kill when a shadow loomed accross the entire ground. He looked up towards the sky and saw a mountain looming overhead. From the edge of the mountain Shaitan saw something launch itself. It landed on the ground next to him. It was the demi-god Roc. He stood 15 feet tall, with a wing span of 12 feet. His feathers a gold-blue color. Roc demanded that he stop killing his children. Shaitan laughed at him. Roc, insulted, lunged at Shaitan and tore open Shaitan's skin with his dagger talons. He bit and scratched at Shaitan until Shaitan lay on the ground defeated. With a sinister laugh Roc launched himself from the earth and returned to his mountain in the sky. Shaitan layed for days on the ground in pain. When he finnaly had enough strength to lift himself up, he vowed that he would find a way to reach that mountain and defeat Roc.
  78.
  79. Years later he encountered a God roaming the earth. He told him his plan for revenge, and the God offered to help. In the middle of the night, Shaitan got lifted onto Roc Mountain, and stole his way to Roc's nest. There he destroyed the eggs of Roc, before he awoke. Roc desperate at the loss of his eggs, created a tremendous wind that blew Shaitan to the ground, Roc took advantage of his enemy and slashed and pecked at him. Shaitan struggled to throw Roc off of him but to no avail. Eventually Shaitan surrendered to Roc and begged him for mercy. Roc being one of the oldest creatures wisely let Shaitan live, but only under his complete control. Shaitan agreed to become the guardian of Roc Mountain.
  80.
  81. To this day all travelers going to Roc Mountain are subject to Shaitans power. Many a travelers have fallen under his might. Few have lived to tell their story of how they met Demon Shaitan. Will you be the next to tell your story? Or will you be the next feast for those who live, upon Roc Mountain.
