Maiko, on the surface, is a sweet and hyper girl, bringing a trail of sunshine wherever she goes and making everyone smile. Maiko does pretty well in school too and is hence liked by most of her Teachers, that usually let her off for doing things that her overly hyper personality does.
She loves fluffy animals and never hesitates to bring home a stray which often results in her getting into a heap trouble with her parents and having to send it to a shelter or a pet shop.
She loves anything cute and will melt for basically anything. Be it sweet and corny pick up lines or that small soft toy kitten at the toy shop, she will squeal and get excited for anything.
But of course, that's just scratching the surface of Maiko.
When not with others, Maiko reveals the bad side of her only to her close friends and family because everyone else would probably start hating her if she didn't. In actual fact, Maiko is a perverted child that reads way too much smut to not know anything about the kinks;)
Even though she keeps it under layers of faked innocence, she tends to show it off immediately after getting bored with her "play toys" to scare them off and then break the news about how she wants to breakup.

Maiko was born into an average family where her Mother stays home as a housewife and her Father works as a businessman. Because of this, Maiko naturally grew closer to her Mother and stuck to her most of her life as a child.
The year when Maiko turned 10, her parents gave birth to a pair of twins, Takeo and Minako.
At first, Maiko was torn between two emotions. Joy and fear. Joy from the fact that she would finally have siblings to play with and she would never be jealous of people with younger siblings again. But fear from the fact that she wouldn't get as much attention from her parents as she used to.
However, Maiko had zero time to try and sort out her feelings as soon, her Mother had stopped being the housewife that she was to find a stable job to further support the family's financial needs, giving Maiko full responsibility over her two baby siblings. It all started out like a blur to Maiko, but she learnt as quickly as she could and slowly, came to love every inch of her siblings and wanting to protect them with everything she had.
As they grew up and started going to school, Maiko too started growing in many ways and met her first love at the age of 15. Sadly, they weren't meant to last and the guy she thought would love her till the end of time left her for someone else, breaking her heart. She then came to realise that love was just a game and the loser would only be left hurt.
