The sun doesn't exist.
Decades ago, the sun started dying, no one could figure out why, it just started giving out less and less light and getting tinier and tinier until it was just a glowing orb the size of our Moon, but, due to timely actions, scientists were able to create "artificial suns" by harnessing the energy of Volcarona and Solrock and amplifying it through a generator, which were then set in satellites and sent up to orbit the Earth. They also act as the moon, which also helped in creating a standardized timezone for every place on Earth. And life went on....

Who are you?
In short, a nobody.
5 years ago, you were found on the beaches of Old Samudrai City, with nothing but a Trainer ID, containing your name and your DOB: 05/11/20XX.
As for who found you? It was a detective agency. They thought you might've been useful, so they decided to take you under their wing and train you.
Five years of training later, you are ready to take on your first assignment as a detective. But as you soon find out, being a detective isn't that exciting as it seems to be. Your first assignment is literally "Challenge the Aster League and act like a normal trainer". Wat ._. Kind of boring isn't it? But you have no choice but to accept, as a repayment for their hospitality and housing you these 5 years. However as you go further in your journey you find something fishy is going on with the agency and it isn't quite what it seems. Moreover, you start to regain tiny bits of memories of your life before the agency, which will make you question your reality. And finally you discover a horrifying truth behind the death of the sun and a plan involving it which may end Earth as you know it.
