She looks at the patient "Okay this will pinch a bit.. " as she would insert the needle in his arm carefully. She connects the Iv to the needle and tapes it down. She then smiles " Okay you are all set. I will give you to Dr. Love and the Dectective.. " as she would turn and throw the used alcohol swab away.
