# Both models recieve as input the response accuracy, the mean response time and the variance response time and compute, based on these values, the  quality of information, response conservativeness, and nondecision time. The difference between these models is the way in which the output is computed. The EZ-diffusion model uses a more simple method of computation than Ratcliff's original model.
