- ####Ame vs Starsnug:
- Because Hanno was ruled OOT, I won't go through this debate post by post and recount every bit of argumentation given so much of it won't matter now Hanno's out of the fight.
- Tariq by himself is incredibly dangerous. His beams could floor Gordon or burn through the Rookie suit, and Ame unfortunately argued into Starsnug's hands that "it's not agile like baymax" meaning Starsnug isn't hampered by her tier defence that Baymax can evade them. With the shield up or by shooting his projectiles out of the air, Tarqi could keep himself safe from the Batmech sniping him back, and the shield might even block a charging melee strike giving Tariq an opportunity for a point blank beam. I think if this were a 2v2 of Tariq/Cordelia vs Tim/Gordon I would be extremely confident in giving it to Tariq.
- Unfortunately, it's a 3v1.
- Tariq only has so much attention he can split. His Luck can help keep Cordelia safe while he's otherwise occupied, but unlike the previous round where Banner's mode of detection relied on flying physical spy drones around the map, it'll be a lot harder for Miles, Tim, and Gordon to all miss her using x-ray vision wallhacks.
- Any member of Team Ame could oneshot Tariq if he didn't put a barrier up in time. Even if he puts himself and Cordelia in a box, once one barrier goes down they'll always be a second person ready to harass and force him back on the defensive again. Ame is also right that the barriers don't really have showings against all of the esoterics at play. Maybe Tariq can dull his own senses to sonics, but can he extend this to Cordelia? What happens if Tariq gets domed under a mass of Miles's webbing building up on the outside of his shield-box? He could burn it off, but would this be safe for Cordelia?
- I'm skeptical of the "box myself in forever" strategy given how Tariq was previously argued to behave when defending his VIP alone, but even if he does act this way, I feel like splitting his attention three ways trying to block three attackers at once just ends in a loss due to attrition.
- **Ame wins.**
