Perhaps ember enjoys rping with you a lot. I enjoy the occasional ERP, but they're not usually engaging. Who knows, ember could have different tastes than you or me.

Depends. It's good for at least one person to have at least a general idea of where they would like the rp to at least head in the direction of. From there you can determine a starting point.

*the clouds hand low over the nearby town, grey with the rain they hold. It is a rather gloomy day for all. Most of the residents have stayed inside, or fashioned umbrellas, but a few have gone for a walk. An orange pegasus mare can be seen by the park, staring up at the sky with somewhat of a disappointed frown on her face.*

((hmmm.......this sounds like Ponyville))

*A black Pegasus with crimson markings wrapped around him walked around the town. He swung back and forth between dryness and the rain, he had no expression on his face but his actions spelled out boredom. he made it to a spot that his vision caught the orange pony, and he didn't know why but he walked over to her slowly, his hooves as silent as the leaves hitting the ground*

((Saying he didn't know why can sometimes make it sound as though there's no real purpose for the being there, and there often isn't, but wording it like that gives the impression that something ominous or mystical is drawing them together. Under the right circumstances, this is a good thing, but for a more casual feel, it's often better to just say she caught his interest, or even just leave the transition out and say he walked up to her. Another option is the phrase "on a whim" ))

*She scrapes a hoof at the ground and looks up longingly at the sky. Her wings flap a few times without lifting her, then she holds them at her sides, only halfway closed.*

*he whistles as he sits besides her and looks up staring at the sky* ummm...are you sad?

*A low sigh escapes her lips as she responds without turning her head, and closes her wings.* A little, I suppose. I'm waiting for the rain.

*he looks at her with a smile and a chuckle* hahahaha, can't you pegasi make it anywhere?

*She turns her head and notices his wings* *She smiles and chuckles a bit* "You say that like you aren't one," she laughs

*he starts laughing a little louder at her comment as he rubs his head* well...I've never went to school or worked anywhere hehehe.....

*She shrugs, turning back to the sky.* Eh, I never finished school either. *Her facial expression goes blank, and her tail twitches slightly*

*he turns slowly then up to the sky* my name is Crimson Revelator, what's yours? *he head doesn't move but eyes move to look at her*

"Rain," She mews softly without turning her head. *She continues to stare up at the grey clouds for a moment, then blinks and turns back to him.* Hey, you wanna go for a walk with me. It should be starting soon, and I love walking through the rain. *She takes a step toward him, a slight smile beginning to appear on her as a single raindrop lands on her nose.*

*he turns his head with a soft smile* soon happened fast! Oh! To answer your question, yes. It would be an honor, Rain. *he stands up as he was the sixe of a normal stallion*

((I'm nodding off a bit. I'm going to take a cat nap and probably be back in an hour. If not, I'll try to be on later tonight. ))

*she gives a small jerk with her head in the opposite direction, and begins trotting off through the grass*

*His eyes blink* h-hey! Wait up! *he runs after her and finally gets by her left side*

*She giggles a bit as the rain begins falling* It's nice going for a walk in the rain. I love it here. *She slightly unfolds one of her wings and begins nibbling at some of the feathers on her alula*
