You are Gromler, a noble living in the kingdom of Larion. You have a pouch of
 gold and a small dagger. You are awakened by one of your servants who tells
 you that your keep is under attack. You look out the window and see a large
 army marching towards your keep. They are on horseback, but they also have cavalry
 riding them

You wake up from your nap and find yourself in a room with no windows. There
 is a table with some food on it and a chair nearby. On the table is a bottle
 of wine and a plate of meat. The door leading into the next room is closed

You sit down at the table and eat the meat. It tastes good and you feel full.
 After eating, you notice that there is a note on the wall behind you. It reads:

Dear Gromler,
I hope this letter finds you well. I know how much you want to see me again.
 I can't tell you what happened to me, but I will say that I am alive and well

The letter ends here. You don't know where you are or who wrote it. Maybe it
 was a ghost? No matter, you need to get ready for the journey ahead

You take out your knife and begin to cut open the skin of one of the animals
 on the table. As you do so, you think about the letter. It seems like a nice
 girl, but she didn't seem too happy when she left. Perhaps she was a vampire

You quickly grab your dagger and cast a spell to destroy the door. This does
 nothing though as the door simply opens up to another room. You decide to try
 something else.

You grab your knife and cast a spell to destroy the wall. Again, nothing happens.
 You then realize that the wall has been glowing red all along. You look around
 and see that the walls are made of obsidian. They glow bright red and they're
 very hard

You walk over to the wall and knock on it. Nothing happens. You then knock on
 the other side of the wall. Still nothing happens. You knock on both sides of
 the wall again and still nothing happens. Finally, you knock on the center of
 the wall. Again, nothing happens

You run over to the wall and grab your flask. You throw it at the wall. It explodes
 into flames and you hear a loud noise. You turn around and see a fireball coming
 at you. You quickly jump away from the wall and dodge the fireball
> perform a highly destructive martial arts combo learned from the ancient monks of Nalzom on the wall, obliterating it completely

You quickly run over to the wall and grab your sword. You swing it at the wall.
 It doesn't even slow down. You then start running over to the other side of
 the wall. You slash at the wall, but nothing happens. You then use your sword
 to break through the wall
> "Man, the ancient monks of Nalzom really don't live up to their reputation.

 I guess I'll be taking my revenge.

You swing your sword at the wall and it breaks. You continue to run over to the
 other side of the wall. You slash at the wall, but nothing happens

You walk past the wall and head towards the door. Suddenly, you stop. A voice
 calls out to you.

"Grom! What are you doing?"

You turn around and see a man dressed in black robes standing before you. He's
 tall and thin
> "Master Mozlan? Is that you?"


He nods "Yes, it is. Are you going to help me kill those vampires?"
You nod "Of course, why wouldn't I?"
Mozlan smiles and walks over to the door. You follow him inside. You see a large
 bedroom
> examine the bedroom

You enter the bedroom and see a bed covered in sheets. Mozlan sits on top of
 the bed and begins to chant. He starts off slowly and then gets faster and louder.
 He stops chanting and looks at you. His face shows fear.

You wait patiently for Mozlan to finish his ritual. Eventually he finishes and
 speaks "Goodbye Grom". You smile and nod.

You rush over to Mozlan and grab him by the throat. He struggles, but you hold
 him tightly. You then stab him several times in the chest. He falls backwards
 onto the floor and you stand over him. You pull out your dagger and plunge it
 into his heart
> examine the dagger

You inspect the dagger and find that it is made of obsidian. It glows red hot
 and you can feel its power burning through you. You then proceed to slice open
 Mozlan's chest and rip out his heart
> "Ah, piss. Was I the vampires?"
