Covet: Eli was pulling up to the house with Tae in the passneger seat. He'd watched her get more and more nervous as they took the usual route over to Bliss's place. // "Eli I thought that we were going to your place." She said trying her best not to show how anxious she was. After the conversation with Adam and Hayley she had a sinking pit in her stomach. // "I never said where we were going, just that Bliss was at home." He responded after he parked and climbed out of the rover.
Tsaaq: Bliss was in the small library at the piano, softly playing a song as she waited for Eli and Tae. She got up and went to the window. She watched carefully as Eli and Tae arrived in his rover. // "What the hell Bliss?" Drew asked in a very annoyed tone. His eyebrows raising once he saw Tae getting out of the vehicle with Tae.
Covet: Tae walked around the vehicle slowly not exactly feeling exclited about going inside. "Eli, please. Can't we just go to your place?" She asked him, more whining than asking. // "No, We have business here." He told her, then turned around, "The longer you take, the longer all of this takes. C'mon." He said as he walked up to the door and walked inside. "We're here." Eli called out.
Tsaaq: Bliss went to the door and opened it. She leaned in to give Eli a kiss on the cheek then held her hand out to Tae. "Come in. We're in the library." She announced as she walked towards said room and sat on piano bench. // Drew's eyes narrowed as the two entered. "Okay, what the hell is this?"
Covet: Tae waited as Bliss gave Eli a kiss on the cheek and gave her hand to Bliss. She just kept her head down as she walked in then glanced over at Drew, biting the inside of her cheek. // Eli raised an eyebrow at Drew, " Call it.. a family pow-wow. Have a seat Tae." He said nodding his head to the bench by the window. "Bliss and I have some questions for you."
Tsaaq: She patted the spot beside her so Eli could sit. She turned to face the other couple. "First things first. Are you two still copulating?" Bliss asked as she crossed her legs and folded her hands and let them rest of her knee. // Drew frowned, he didn't fucking like Eli but not time to press the beserk button yet. "Yeah, but we been using protection." He whispered.
Covet: Tae took a deep breath and nodded in agreement with Drew. "We've been safe, I promise.". She didn't want to look at her brother or Bliss, to see their looks of disappointment. // Eli pursed his lips and looked at both of them, "Even after Dad told you no? Do you realize how upset he's going to be? I'm disappointed, but that's nothing compared to how Dad's going to feel."
Tsaaq: "Alright..." She trailed off, her eyes going wide as she inhaled deeply. "Is this a carnal attraction or... Is there something we should know?" Bliss asked, looking at Drew. She knew his past of knocking up bitches. // He shrugged his shoulders. "I uh... I don't know what Carnal means..." Drew muttered as he looked to Tae. "Listen we do it. But it's not like I don't care about her. I fight guys for her. And sometimes I go down on her first before we have sex!"
Covet: Tae's head snapped up when she heard Drew, "Drew!. I don't think they need to know all the details." She gave a sheepish look at Eli and Bliss, "Please don't tell Dad. He doesn't need to know. I'm an adult I'm allowed to see who I want." // Eli scrunched up his face and tilted it, "I'm going to try really hard to get that image out of my head now..." He said, then gave an annoyed look at Drew, "Can you please refrain from talking about whatever it is, exactly, that you do with my baby sister? Thanks."  He looked at Tae, "Just because you can't be honest with Mom and Dad, doesn't mean I'm not going to do the same. You're lucky they haven't caught you yet. Especially with the marks I here he's left on you."
Tsaaq: She put her hands up. Visually demanding silence. "You you two are simply fooling around then I suggest you inform Professor Cohen. And if it's more than that you have even more of a reason to inform him." She sighed. // "It's not my fault that Bliss is always using big words and getting me confused!" He complained. Drew pressed his lips together angrily. He fell silent. // Persephone heard voices downstairs and saw that as her window of oppurtunity. "Oh I'm not doing anything Uncle Sedrick. Just waiting for my BOYFRIEND to call." She shouted as she came down the steps. "He'll propose to me any day now!" She yelled.
Covet: "But you don't understand. He doesn't like Drew, at all. Telling him is signing a death warrant for Drew." Tae said, pleading with Bliss. "It's not just fooling around. It started off as that, but it's different now. Since Thanksgiving anyways. Drew protects me..." She added, although they more protected each other, I guess.  //  Eli shook his head at Drew, then spoke to them both. "Do you even know each other? Do you know the kind of stuff Drew does, Tae? The kind of person he is?" He asked then turned to hear Persephone, he rolled his eyes, "We could only be so hopeful." He mumbled.
Tsaaq: Bliss screwed up her face at the sound of Persephone's shouted. "Um, alright?" She called out. "She's been doing this since Friday." She leaned into Eli before sitting up straight. "If you feel this is something serious and you want to have to be an adult and confront your actual problems, like an adult. Drew is more than an adult by now. What are you now? Twenty seven?" She asked asked the blonde male with a wave with of his hand. // "I know Tae!" He scoffed. "NOBODY CARES!" Drew shouted to Persephone. He went to put an arm around Tae. "She knows what I do. But shes like. A sun showing up after rain happened already." He said ever-so ineloquently. "And you guys never asked why, or how I started doing it! You just judged me!" // "You might know him. A singer. Jason. You know. Very wealthy. Much more wealthy than the Cohen's." Persephone said breathlessly. She leaned on the doorway as she looked at the group. "Are we having a family meeting I wasn't invited to?"
Covet: Tae looked over at Drew listening to him, caught off guard by his comment. "Really?" She asked, smiling softly before she looked over at Eli, She didn't know he was twenty seven, nearly ten years older than herself, shy a couple of years. "Yes, I know what he does. I've been down there with him." She said sharply to Eli, though that really wasn't the right thing to say. // Eli shook his head at Persephone, "No, shockingly this doesn't concern you. But kudos, Persephone." He said then turned back to look at Drew, "You told Bliss and I, it was because you could. Of course we judged you, what you're doing is illegal. And you have Tae involved in it. You shouldn't even been down at the lots!" He said turning back on his sister,  "Please tell me he doesn't have you working for him."
Tsaaq: "What?" Bliss asked with her face losing color. "Yeah! You didn't elaborate whatsoever!" She scoffed at Persephone. "Really, not now!" She told her. // "Well I'm not twenty seven by the way. I'm like, one year older than Bliss. She's being an asshole." He said to Tae quickly. "Of course I don't! She's my girlfriend." Drew said in outrage. "Well maybe I pushed you guys away or something so you'd actually ask why! And help me or be nice to me or something!" // Persephone fell silent as she looked between them. "So it's true." She whispered as she looked at him. "You are a... strumpet herder?"
Covet: "No, he's never done that!" Tae answered quickly, because that'd never happened. "Drew's been nothing but good to me. And he's not as bad as you seem to think he is either." She glared at Eli. // "It's kind of hard to be willing to help a guy when his first instict is to make anti jewish remarks, then sneak around with his sister." Eli said to Drew, "Thank god, at least I don't have to break that news to Mom and Dad. What about the incident at the lots? The one where someone was stabbed?"
Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head showly again. "Well why don't you tell us your tale of woe?" She challenged. // Drew scoffed indignantly. "I didn't make you Jewish! I don't see why you're mad at me for that!" He argued. "I was stabbed. Some creep was creeping on us. I'm okay now! We don't even meet up at the lots anymore!" He groaned. "I don't have any friends here... The only friend I had was a guy name Edward who was a pimp. Then he got put in jail and told me to take care of the hoes while he's gone... So I am?" He explained.  // "You were stabbed?" Persephone gasped.
Covet: Tae listened to Drew, kind of feeling bad for not meeting up with him more often, knowing that he apparently didn't have any friends, "It could have happened to anyone. We just happened to be the ones out there that night." Tae added to the stabbing story. "Drew said we'd just meet here now. It was terrifying, but despite being stabbed, Drew got me out of there, with barely a scratch. He was a hero"  She embelished. "See, he's just helping a friend. It's not like he wants to do it." // Eli set his jaw and looked at Drew, "Because it was uncalled for, and makes you look like even more of a jackass." He put his arm around Bliss, unsure of what to say as to his reasonings for carrying on his friend's business. "Your friend shouldn't be doing that either, which is probably how he ended up in jail. I'm amazed you haven't been the next person they caught."
Tsaaq: Bliss crossed her arm over her chest. "Why didn't you just say that before?" She asked him sternly. "You can't just stop? If you want Tae to be safe you have to stop it all together." // Drew furrowed her eyebrows. "Yeah well... That sweater looks dumb." He said because he didn't have much of a come back. "Well he was! And I was helping him! And I still am! But it's cold out. Business is bad. Who knows what's gonna happen when it starts to snow?" He argued. "But I promised!" // "Wait wait wait, I'm your friend. Aren't I Drew?" She asked with a wide frown and puppy dog eyes.

Covet: Tae nudged Drew at his sweater comment. "It's okay to break promises, sometimes. I mean.. I broke the one to my Dad to see you. If business is slow, maybe it's time to cut bait. The girls can find some other work or something, that's maybe, not illegal?" // Eli rolled his eyes, "Yeah, as much as it pains me to say this, If you're going to do right by my sister...You have to stop. It's only going to make things worse, when you two tell my Dad, if you're still doing it."

Tsaaq: "Wait. They can't date. If you and I are marrying what kind of unholy abomination does that make them?" Bliss waved her hand at Drew and Tae. // He looked away from Persephone. "Yeah I gues..." He whispered."If they was rocket scientists they wouldn't be hookers. I don't know what else to say." Drew rolled his eyes at the legal work comment. "I guess they can do some online stuff for now without me being in charge?" He asked with his eyebrows raised. // Persephone crossed her arms as well, pouting. "Oh! That's right! See, you guys can't date anyways. This little affair is c'est fini!" She perked right up.
Covet: Tae furrowed her brows looking at Eli and Bliss, "Um..absolutely nothing, because I'm not blood related to Eli." She said like they were the dumb ones. "and I'd only be related to any of you through marriage, which barely counts. It's not like we'd be creating some weird inbred children or anything." // "That's not the point Tae. All you're doing is thinking about yourself right now. This could look bad for the Maverick's image." Eli said "It's the morality of the situation."
Tsaaq: Bliss scrunched up her face. "No no no. My father is already a pedophilic lethario. Their parents aren't in the picture. I'll be damnned if any family I have present could paint me in an unneccesary light! This isn't a volume of game of thrones. It's twenty seventeen. You two have to part ways regardless. I'd hate to stifle you-" // Drew went to grab some books from one of the cabinets over the fire place. "We've made our deals! Now you guys have to leave us alone. Leave us alone or the books get it!" // She shook her head. "It doesn't matter Tae. It's still weird and gross!" Persephone scoffed. "I don't care about books." She waved her hand.
Covet: "So because your family sucks, I get punished for it. Because he and I happen to share the samel last name and parents, I get punished for it." Tae said pouting, "This is stupid. I'm not being selfish, everyone else is. Nobody cares about my feelings except for Drew. I wish I wasn't part of this family!" She said as she got up and pushed past Persephone, "You suck as a mentor." She said because now she was just being bitter and angry as she walked out the door slamming it. // Eli looked at Drew and held his hands up, "Really, stop, there's no need to take it out on propery, just to get under her-..." He stopped when Tae went off, hurt that she'd said she didn't want to be a part of the family. "Tae... Tae!" He said starting to walk after her, then put his hands on his head as he gave a groan.
Tsaaq: She put her hands up. "Stop! Grandmother will be furious!" She said with gasp. "You don't just happen to share at last name his family adopted you! He's your brother!" Bliss argued. She frowned and sat down once more as she fell silent. // Drew watched as Tae ran out and he followed behind her. Dropping the books without a care. "Tae wait!!" He called out. // Persephone gasped. "I am not! You're the slut screwing your cousin in-law! Not me! Whore!" She yelled. "I'm a great mentor."
Covet: Tae walked out and sat on the step, feeling the tears fall down her cheeks as she sobbed. Eli had brought her there so she couldn't just go home, not that she wanted to at this point.  So with nothing else to do, and no idea where to go she sat and cried. // "Persephone!" Eli said turning his head around hearing her rude words. "That's still my sister, and she's not any of those things." He turned to look at Bliss and sat down with her, putting his arm around her. "I'm sorry..." He said because he felt like Bliss deserved an apology, but he wasn't sure for why.
Tsaaq: Bliss sat down on the piano bench and exhaled as she ran her hands down her face. "It's fine. I feel bad that it just seems like we're coming down on them..." She whispered. // Drew went to stand beside her giving her his sleeve to wipe her eyes with. "I'm sorry they suck. Please don't cry." // Persephone rolled her eyes and sputtered. "She started it!"
Covet: Tae sniffled and looked at Drew, "It's not your fault.  It's my stupid family's fault. If I wasn't adopted, none of this would be an issue." She wiped her eyes off quickly, "But... I probably wouldn't know you either... if that was the case. It still sucks"  // Eli nodded, "I know, but it's not like we don't have plenty of reason to come down on them. She's just angry, and hasn't thought it through. We're being rightfully concerned." He said trying not to think about her family comment, looking over at Persephone shaking his head her, but saying nothing else.

Tsaaq: Bliss shook her head. "Just take her home... I'll seeyou at the apartment." Bliss pushed up to her feet. "No use in arguing anymore tonight." // Drew went to sit down beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "It's okay. Just wanna come into my room for the night?"

Covet: "Would that be alright?" She asked him. "It's not like I'm going to get into any less trouble at this point." Tae said as she leaned into him. "Is it really as bad as they're making it out to seem?" she asked. // Eli nodded, "Very true. We can give them time to think things over. Figure out our next step." He added and stood up, wrapping his arms around her, so he could press a kiss to her head, "I'll see you shortly?"
Covet: [I'll help you wrap up in all places so you can get your sleepy ass to bed. ]

Tsaaq: "Yes." She nodded her head. "You will. I'm just going to say goodnight and be on my way. Just make sure she gets home safely." Bliss said. // Drew shrugged and went to stand. He held out his hand for her to help her up. "I don't really care. People make me feel bad about stuff all the time."
Covet: Nodding her head, Tae agreed. " Thank you. At least I have you on my side. Makes it seem less sucky." She told him as she took his hand and got up, heading over to the stairs up to his room. // "Alright. Get back to the appartment safely, My Love." He told her then leaned in for a real kiss. "I love you." He said and walked out the door only to see Tae walking off with Drew. He sighed and decided he'd leave it be, she'd be safe here at the very least. He got into his Rover and headed off back to the appartment.
