[22:07] <UltimixRed> the town of Windvale. tonight is sleepy,  for there are fewer people milling about than usual. Maybe its related to the reports of headaches recently.  or maybe its due to the recent "event"  at joe's gun and liquor causing everyone to be cautious

[22:09] <Uracilo> Lucette scurries through town, keeping her umbrella between her and the last glimmers of sun for the day. She's on her way to the Rabbit Cafe to hand over a resumé and start working, something she didn't expect to do twenty-four hours ago.

[22:10] <UltimixRed> Shauna is currently enjoying a cup of coffee in the aftermath of dinner rush.
[22:11] <UltimixRed> Finding herself a little concerned that the "event"  caused the place to. be so quiet
[22:13] <Uracilo> Lucette makes her way into the coffee shop, closing the door quietly behind her and stares expectantly at Shauna.
[22:15] <UltimixRed> Shauna looks up to see Luccette and smiles.  "I assume you have a resume for me. Take a seat.  coffee?"
[22:16] <Uracilo> "Yes! And sure..." she takes a seat and holds out the sheet of paper.
[22:17] <UltimixRed> Shauna inspects the resume and pours Luccette a cup of coffee without looking up from the paper
[22:18] <UltimixRed> "So? do you have any special talents?"  Shauna asks with an expectant look at Luccette while giving a wry grin
[22:20] <Uracilo> "I'm good at doing a lot of things at the same time. I can split my concentration very easily," she says, nodding.
[22:23] <UltimixRed> Shauna nods while thinking for a second. "do you have any way of showing that to me by any chance?"  Shauna curls her hair with her finger while she waits for an answer
[22:25] <Uracilo> "Umm... Do you have any two things I could do?" she asks, nervous and embarrassed, unable to think of an example.
[22:26] <Uracilo> "Three would be better, I think..."
[22:27] <UltimixRed> Shauna looks amused "Its ok i was going to provide you one anyway.  Please take my order,  stack those chairs. and clean the countertop." Shauna seems.to look at you with lots of hope abd trust

[22:30] <Uracilo> Lucette hurriedly takes it upon herself to do all three things at the same time, struggling a bit with the weight of the chairs.

[22:32] <UltimixRed> "i'll. have a vanilla machiato with a shot of expresso."  Shauna looks impressed at the pace Luccette is working at
[22:34] <Uracilo> "Um... Do I have to make the coffee?" She looks behin dthe counter for instructions, a bit winded from carrying the chairs. She cleans the countertop as she does.
[22:35] <UltimixRed> "you. can leave. that to. me, you just write down the table number and order.  have you had a job before?  you're a natural!"  Shauna gives a bunch g goofy grin and pats her on the head
[22:39] <Uracilo> "Not really, no..." She digs through a pocket in her dress to get her book of names and rips the last page, then writes the table number and "vanilla macchiato w/ shot of espresso"
[22:41] <UltimixRed> "lucky me. then,  i get to have a nice girl all to myself." Shauna looks over Luccette's work with hands on her hip and a beaming face

[23:12] <UltimixRed> Shauna leaves the cafe and starts locking up before looking at Wendy.  "oh Luccette's friend.  you should probably head home,  strange stuff has been happening at night.  liks red lights. showing up. in the forest."
[23:12] <Uracilo> "What are you doing here?" she asks, looking along the dark streets.
[23:12] <SavanahHolland> Wendy looks around "Just doing a evening stroll nothing special"
[23:16] <Uracilo> "I was about to head back, but we can walk together if you want..."
[23:17] <SavanahHolland> Wendy smiles "Sure, we can walk together!"
[23:18] <UltimixRed> Shauna nods,  "its safer in numbers,  i hear some. lights. have. been messing with people's heads as well."
[23:18] <Uracilo> Lucette looks a little nervous at this point. "Ah, okay Shauna. I'll make sure to keep an eye out."
[23:19] <SavanahHolland> "Lights?" Wendy murmurs under her breath "Alright lets go Lucette" wendy grins
[23:20] <UltimixRed> "yeah.  red lights in the forest.. weird right?"
[23:20] <Rose27> Rose is walking down the street to god knows where
[23:21] <SavanahHolland> Wendy sees rose walking and runs up to her "Hey rose! I thought I was the onlyone that walked in the evenings" She giigles

[23:22] <UltimixRed> Shauna decides to leave the girls to their devices and goes home after patting Luccette on the. shoulder

[23:32] <UltimixRed> The forest near the town looks like a dense ocean. of foliage and trees.  the entrance to the forest is a dark maw that in the very distance, seems something strange

[23:40] <SavanahHolland> "Ok" wendy say and she trudges along with Lucette
[23:40] <Rose27> "M-m-m-maybe we should um g-g-get Bryce...."
[23:41] <Uracilo> "N-no way, Bryce is horrible."
[23:41] <SavanahHolland> "We can get him later! This is our adventure!"
[23:41] <Rose27> "b-b-b-b-b-but...."

[23:44] <Uracilo> Lucette moves her umbrella to the side and steps out of its shadow for a full second, before hopping back under it with some redness on her face.

[23:44] <Uracilo> A shadow with the head of a bird comes to life next to each of the girls and helps them walk.

[23:46] <UltimixRed> The forest feels cold, with a dense roof that only select pockets of moonlight shine through
[23:47] <SavanahHolland> "Lucette mind if I make a flame so we can see better? Would that hurt you?"

[23:49] <SavanahHolland> Wendy produces a brillant white flame in her palm "Much better!"
[23:50] <UltimixRed> The flame illuminates tje forest showing the gnarled and twister trees

[23:51] <SavanahHolland> "Damn straight out of snow white" Wendy comments almost suprised
[23:52] <Uracilo> Lucette gives a little hiss at the light from the flame and retrets a little further under the umbrella.
[23:53] <Rose27> Rose hands the googles to Wendy"U-u-u-use this um i-i-instead...they um w-w-won't hurt Lucette..."
[23:54] <SavanahHolland> "Oh cool" Wendy retracts the flame and puts on the googles "Oooo everything looks green"

[23:55] <SavanahHolland> "Rose can you see?"
[23:55] <UltimixRed> Wendy can see the whole.forest, its overgrown and looks rather hard to traverse.  in the distance she cansee the red lights,  surrounding something humanoid,. but you are too far to. see it
[23:56] <Uracilo> Lucette takes Rose's hand to guide her, being able to see in the dark on her own.
[23:56] <Uracilo> "L-let's keep going," Lucette whispers.
[23:56] <Rose27> Lucette can feel Rose shaking worse than a leaf on a windy day
[23:56] <SavanahHolland> "Arlight!" Wendy walks with everyone in the direction of the red lights

[23:58] <UltimixRed> As the girls walk. closer they can faintly hear yelling accompanied by chirps

[23:52] <SavanahHolland> "Im more of a coffee person, strong coffee makes me feel great after a long day. i of course like different variations of strong coffee, like a americano"
[23:53] <FullMetalBitch> "I drink tea, as my father and his father before him," Lilith says with a lighter tone.  She pulls her chair up next to Aiko, setting Andrea down on the edge of the table.
[23:54] <SavanahHolland> Wendy comments in a low tone "I wonder when someone will take our orders"
[23:55] <UltimixRed> "Never"  Stella jokes
[23:55] <~SirGoldfish> "My dad drinks coffee. The one time I drank it it made me feel funny..."
[23:55] <Uracilo> Lucette climbs out from behind the counter holding some plates and cups, and sees the massive group of girls that suddenly appeared in the coffee shop. Outmanned, and outgunned, she hides once more.

[23:58] <Uracilo> Lucette looks like a deer in headlights for a blink at being discovered, but clears her throat and stands up straight. "N-no, it's fine... It's my job after all."

[00:17] <Uracilo> She slices the lime and puts it in a cup with some ice, then pours espresso over it, doing her best to remember all the instructions.
[00:18] <Uracilo> She heads back to the table with the four cups, and apologizes for the lack of matcha tea.
[00:18] <SavanahHolland>  "I can understnad that lilith" Wendy smiles "Lots of people are very pssionate about that"
[00:18] <Uracilo> "D-did Rose leave?" she asks, looking around the shop for any sign her.
[00:19] <FullMetalBitch> Lilith picks up Andrea by his neck and shakes him a bit.  He startles and throws his arms and legs around for a second before calming down.  She sets him standing on the table in front of her so that he can look around the room.
[00:19] <SavanahHolland> Wendy picks up the cold cup with a somewhat warm feeling to it. She starts sucking on the dark limes soaked in espresso

01[00:21] <Kioku> Aiko just shakes her head.  "It's okay, I'll try whatever other sort of green tea you have instead.  Perhaps jasmine?"  She's about to turn the menu over at the second question.  "Ah- yes, she had to run.  Not sure for what, but I hope she makes it safe..."

She lets her tea steep longer on the table in front of her, giving it a moment before Andrea walks over and starts to pull out the bag with his paws.  It's a bit of a fight but he eventually pulls it out and sets it on a napkin next to the mug.

01[01:47] <Kioku> Aiko takes a shuddering breath and lets out a sob.  "T-that mustn't happen!"  \I have to protect her!  I can't let her be put in a situation like that again, but... how?  I can't be with her every second...\ She sniffles again and shakes her head.  "I... you're a very precious friend... please don't... come undone..."

01[02:02] <Kioku> Aiko rests her head against Sara's arm, taking ragged breaths.  "Good..."
[02:02] <jackielegs> Minami hears a whisper "hey so we are still kind of confused as to what happened would you mind meeting me later for a chat?"
01[02:04] <Kioku> Aiko twitches as her mind processes the incoming message.  She manages to figure it out, and format her thoughts well enough to produce an easy to pick up reply in the front of her mind.  \Alright... I'll try to when... when I'm ready to come down.\
[02:14] <~SirGoldfish> Sara has nothing more to say. She simply continues to share the quite momment with Aiko.
01[02:15] <Kioku> Aiko keeps trying to compose herself, but is unable and breaks back down into sobs every time.
01[02:21] <Kioku> Eventually, Aiko manages to keep it together for more than half a minute.  "D-do you want me to stay a while longer?  The others that were injured... I need to know... but they have others to look after them, so if you-"  She cuts herself off and shivers.  "I'm... I'm sorry.  I'm really not good at this friendship thing...  I don't know what to do..."

01[02:30] <Kioku> She slowly lets go and moves to the door, offering a tiny wave as she opens, steps through and closes it.
