  1. The raiding force that was led by the Demon was quick to make its way to the Askaheim- this conflict has been raging for more than it should, and considering just how tense it was getting, it only made more sense for the forces of Eidolon to attack sooner than later.
  2.
  3. All because this conflict was started by one man, Cassion- yet, Eidolon refused to accept the apology offered.
  4.
  5. Once the land has been infiltrated, whether fortunate or not, the Demon had its share of luck of encountering Lief - the very Jarl of the Askaheim.
  6.
  7. With the swarm buzzing loud, and with the putrid acid gathering around with the winds, Murmux's beady eyes were pointed to Lief, the Insectoid preparing itself for combat.
  8.
  9. "Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh--"
  10.
  11. "You should've- handed Cassio over- and stood down. He started- this. And now- you will be paying- for his sins."
  12.
  13. "Prepare- yourself."
  14. (Murmux)
  15.
  16. Lief was tired.
  17. Tired of many different things.
  18.
  19. The settlement of Eidolon wasn't an issue, he was willing to set peaceful trades between both them and Askaheim. Which was the reason why the Jarl went there with Cassio in the first place- So they could deal with that like mature adults, but once again... That place was ran by a seventeen year old musician. Of course she would make a stupid move and attack all of them in such a dishonorable move.
  20.
  21. And in a sudden, their attack begun, almost getting Lief by surprise. He expected it to happen sooner or later, which made him grin once he noticed Murmux leading their people. It was a painful, but yet fun scene.
  22.
  23. "All could have been settled peacefully, but murdering two of my citizens?"
  24.
  25. The flames covering his body, his harp shining in a white hue due to his exorcist magic. Playing the instrument, a soft and melanchonic song would be heard by both of them, echoing within the battlefield.
  26.
  27. "I am glad this attack came to us, makes things far easier for me. Be worth of my time, Demon."
  28. (Lief Toran)
  29.
  30. Ka'vas is now observing Lief Toran
  31.
  32. Moderator Nots is now observing Murmux

  84. Your body begins heating up painfully!
  85.
  86. {RP BATTLE} YOU ROLLED 2 or less: You've sustained a grevious injury in battle. -20 VIT for 1 LIFE. It's up to you and your opponent to determine the specifics of the injury.
  87.
  88.
  89.
  90.
  91. You have received a PERMANENT INJURY from Lief Toran:
  92.
  93. {RP BATTLE} YOU HAVE ROLLED 2 OR OVER: You have evaded capture by your enemy! (Unless otherwise specified, your character may escape captivity)
  94.
  95. Desc: "A spear of holy fire went right throught Murmux's left arm, taking half of it off from his body. The flames cauterized the injure, so it wasn't bleeding at all. Since it was holy magic, the Demon might feel it itching a lot from time to time."
  96.
  97. Name: "Forearm ripped off."
  98.
  99. Lief wasn't sure if the Demon was as strong as Ka'vas, so he decided to wait and test it out at the very first minutes of battle. Both of them had very similar fighting styles, very similar Magic, and very similar ways of using it against the Jarl.
  100.
  101. The fight wasn't that complicated, even with the Demon giving several blows against the Vanirhallan that made him uneasy. Still, at the end Lief saw the perfect opening to give a final blow to Murmux.
  102.
  103. His lance in hands now, a bright yellow hue to the entirety of the weapon, as it slowly started to focus on the tip of the mythril. It shines, as the Jarl threw the lance right at Murmux's forearm, quickly ripping it off and cauterizing the injure at the same time it lays at a nearby tree, still burning the flesh from it.
  104.
  105. "Go back to your settlement. This isn't over."
  106.
  107. Said Lief, staying there as he would wait for the creature to leave. After all, his lance was still nearby, hecouldn't just leave that, right?
  108. (Lief Toran)
  109.
  110. Despite all the effort that Murmux has invested in this fight, it simply wasn't working- there was one thing about this battle, and it's the fact that Lief was out of its league.
  111.
  112. The raw power of another magi comparing to Insectoid was too much.
  113.
  114. And with that, the Insectoid was pushed back by the flames and attacks caused by the Jarl alike- within the sound of a night, a shrieking screech of a Demon was heard as its forearm was ripped out.
  115.
  116. With such, the putrid hatred of a Demon followed.
  117.
  118. "HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH--"
  119.
  120. "YOU WILL- PAY FOR THIS. YOU WILL- SUFFER."
  121.
  122. "ONCE I GROW- YOU WILL- PAY BACK- TENFOLD MORE."
  123.
  124. The swarm buzzed wildly, protecting its master as Kaor retreated; holding onto cauterized forearm, Murmux knew that it needed to get some sort of treatment.
  125.
  126. As soon as possible.
  127. (Murmux)
  128.
  129. The forces of Askaheim muster their mages and draw forth their reinforcements. Slowly the agressing force of Eidolon are forced back and away from the stockpiles. Before long, the hostile forces issue a retreat, overwhelmed by the guards and mages of the south.
  130.
  131. The victory goes to Askaheim!
  132. Khaine v Count Cluck -Eidolon cap
  133. Saenis v Achilles - Askhiem
  134. Stella v Nash - Eidolon
  135. Murmux v Lief - Askhiem
  136. Mao v Alafia - Askhiem cap
  137. Lucillus v Adrioghana - Askhiem
  138. Thalamus v Huitzilin - Askhiem
  139.
  140. In a rather similar fashion to how he disposed of Nerissa; Durara would have pulled the man towards him-- with his telekinetic abilities. Along with some, rather prominent help from his gravity magic. Clasping his hand around the throat of his target-- Squeezeing as he spoke.
  141.
  142. "Stay out of my way. This does not concern you, human." a moment or two later, the Sirenian tossed the man away. As far as he could, similar to Team Rocket blasting off.
  143.
  144. Now-- He returned to Zoldak. Asking for his.. Kin.
  145.
  146. "I'll be taking her again."
  147. (Durara)
  148.
  149. Khaine whispers something.
  150.
  151. You have 2 hours, 46 minutes left until your next check. You currently qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check!
  152.
  153. Red eyes leer downwards-- The scent of umbral, of unconcious kin looming about the air. An ookami. An ookami.
  154.
  155. A fucking Ookami.
  156.
  157. Of all vile creatures-- of all races, an ookami had their hands upon Ka'vas' kin. On Ka'vas' subbordinate.
  158.
  159. "You...."
  160.
  161. A slow, shaky tendril extends outwards, red eyes seeming to grow abright with a newfound lifelight.
  162.
  163. "You will release my kin."
  164.
  165. "If you do not... Your life will be made into hell. I will ensure your senses of security are more porous than your corpse when I am done with it. Release Count. now."
  166.
  167. Spoken witha near tired tone-- Yet still filled with bravado, those whom were near could see the faint flagella appearing upon the kaor.
  168.
  169. "If not... I will beat you like the dirty animal you are... You will be devoured..."
  170.
  171. "Just. Like. Awa."
  172. (Ka'vas)
  173.
  174.
  175. Khaine says, "Shut yer' fokin' mouth ya' lil' weasel."
  176.
  177. Khaine says, "Suck it."
  178. Alafia drops Sludge x1.
  179.
  180. The Demon was defeated.
  181.
  182. But there was still fighting spirit left in its body, despite the defeat. It knew that it would grow, and grow to surpass all those that still stand above it- one day, it would devour the significant population of Askaheim.
  183.
  184. But for now, such power was not enough. For as long as there were magi with greater raw strength, it would more than likely suffer the same fate.
  185.
  186. Yet, there was one thing that satisfied Murmux, despite their loss and the loss of Mao, which was yet another piece of useful assert among the others.
  187.
  188. "Hhhhhhhhhhh--"
  189.
  190. "Do not let- Count Cluck- stay alive."
  191.
  192. "Execute him- right now. Take the body- with you- to prevent any necromancy attempts- or annihilate it- entirely."
  193.
  194. "Then- let's go."
  195. (Murmux)
  196.
  197. -- Too, too soon.
  198.
  199. Pressing a hand over his eye the limping body of this soldier could feel but one simple emotion when looking at the ruin they had brought this town. Wounds pulsating from the touch of occultism as holy magic continually reeled back from such a horrendous taint, what he had deemed noise unable to rise against them now standing against Eidolon he could feel but one simple emotion above all else.
  200.
  201. Anger.
  202.
  203. Hatred all swelling through Lucilius as their own had begun to be pushed back by those so far above them. Nails digging into this wound which had continued to slowly rot his features there seemed nothing more fitting to call what had begun to swell inside of him. Anger towards all this noise, what had driven him and brought about such ire all the same now able to push them back with such relative ease.
  204.
  205. Disgusting.
  206.
  207. Curling his free hand inwards upon his spear there could be no other word to be spoken. Simply raising his weapon upwards asa sudden explosion of holy flames worked to slam into these grounds all around. Forcing those who continued to fight back away from their soldiers, one simple command being given above all else with losses continuing to mount upon one another.
  208.
  209. "We leave... We lost..."
  210.
  211. Simple, spoken in a murmur only towards those who could hear his decree.
  212. (Lucilius)
  213.
  214. After watching Durara trounce Clarin, he hands his captive Sirenian woman back to him.
  215.
  216. "Mmm. Here you go. Really glad you could make an appearance, Dura. And you're even leaving with something to show for it."
  217.
  218. Flashing a bright smile, he winks at the violet haired Sirenian. The male one, that is.
  219. (Zoldak)
  220.
  221.
  222. Ka'vas says, "Bring me... our captive."
  223.
  224. Ka'vas says, "Dead or alive."
  225.
  226. Durara says, "Of course. I take what I want, or rather this time.. What is mine-- And misbehaving."
  227.
  228. Zoldak asks, "Alafia, where's that pile of gore at?"
  229. The chicken would laugh. He look at Murmax.
  230.
  231. He would laugh as their so called easy sweep was flawed. The chicken would look to the others. To his...friends. Allies. Enemies. He would look at them all as he laid bloody and shattered. But his gaze didn't go away. No it only lit up with excitement.
  232.
  233. "*cluck* This...means nothing. *cluck* I told you kin. *cluck* Did you believe you come in...and take them down? *cluck* Did you believe...these *cluck* People would fall."
  234.
  235. He would look to his others.
  236.
  237. "Adrio, Lief, Zold.. Ka'vas. This means nothing. I die you rise. You clucking end their lives. *cluck* ....this isn't my death. This all your deaths. *cluck* Hahah. I told you Murmax you wanted a war...your going to get it kin. Prepare for your end. *cluck*"
  238.
  239. He look to the others.
  240.
  241. "*cluck* No regrets...* *Cluck*"
  242. (Count Cluck)
  243.
  244. Huitzilin stares into the air and lets out a guttural scream of sheer WRATH as he drags a Eidolan soldier behind him and simply tenses his bicep while he begins crushing their skull.
  245.
  246. The man screams until his sheer WRATH also starts melting his face until it explodes onto the Gehennan's glistening body followed by the skull and head of the man collapsing within his grasp letting mush fall to the grass.
  247. (Huitzilin)
  248.
  249.
  250. Murmux says, "Shove it up- your mass of goo- Ka'vas."
  251.
  252. Murmux says, "I will devour you- one day."
  253.
  254. Khaine says, "Ya' can have him right now."
  255.
  256. Khaine says, "Go for it."
  257.
  258. Ka'vas says, "MUR....MUX....."
  259. Khaine tosses Ka'vas towards Murmux's general direction whilst casting an upward nod.
  260. (Khaine)
  261.
  262. Mao did his best despite his injuries. As he faced the final attack, tried his best to hold out. He groaned in pain, screaming out as he tried to endure the blow.
  263.
  264. Alas his prior injury inflicted to him by Inoa would act up. His body would spaz out and he would lost control of his muscles thus weakening his defenses. The blast would begin tearing and ripping through his scales, then flesh, then muscles. Blood splattered across the floor and Mao coughed up blood as he groaned in pain.
  265.
  266. " ARGHHH! I Can't...I WON'T!! " He states as he planted his feet firmply on the ground. He roared out in pain, muscles bulging as he continued his efforts to fend the attack against Alafia but the beam only continued to slowly drip deeper and deeper into his chest.
  267.
  268. His blood began pouring out of his body, his skin began getting visibly pain eerily fast but Mao still tried best to stand his ground, down to the bery moment the beam pierced his organs and through his spine. He stood tall and proud, looking forward.
  269.
  270. With his hammer still firmly in his hands. Mao was pierced through the chest, the would very much fatal. This was his last fight, it ended in defeat. The last words that left his mouth, with his last breath he managed a chuckle.
  271.
  272. " Well fuck, I guess this is it... funny. "
  273.
  274. The hammer has fallen.
  275. (Mao)
  276.
  277.
  278. Ka'vas says, "9Khaine tosses Ka'vas towards Murmux's general direction whilst casting an upward nod."
  279.

  300.
  301. Mao drops Master Staff.
  302.
  303. Mao drops Wind Crystal x1.
  304.
  305. This was Thalamus' true virgin battle and his initiation in the adult world came with great losses. The war was lost and so was his battle. A few second degree burns could be tracked along his frame and with an armor recolored black, the greenhorn went to stand by his fellow warriors. There was exhaustion in his eyes, as he came to fall next to Lucilius.
  306.
  307. "I am useless. I did not manage to capture nor injure my opponent." A gloomy voice spoke the words in a murmur. There was neither a smile, nor any vigor on his visage, as he came to look at his superior.
  308.
  309. "How did it go for you?" He inquired, yet the slightly older adolescent's frame was also evidence to a possible defeat.
  310. (Thalamus)
  311.
  312. Alafia picks up Master Staff.

  323.
  324. Alafia picks up Mythril.
  325.
  326. Alafia picks up Adamantite x2.
  327.
  328. Zoldak drops to the ground instantaneously, clicks the heels of his boots together, and gives Count Cluck a proper Valmasian rifleman salute. Crisp and steady. His normally friendly and inviting countenance has turned stern, his gaze locked onto the beady eyes of the chicken kaor as he speaks in a voice both solemn and filled with hatred.
  329.
  330. "You fought hard, Count. We will make them pay ten times over."
  331.
  332. Glaring at the backs of the ACTUAL CHILDREN as they leave, all Zoldak can do is think about how he heard youth potions require the blood of orphan magi. He wonders how much it would sell for.
  333. (Zoldak)
  334.
  335. Alafia picks up Orchilacum.
  336.
  337. Alafia drops Adept Staff.
  338.
  339. Alafia picks up Blue Mercury x7.
  340.

  342.
  343. Alafia picks up Steel x25.
  344.
  345. Alafia drops Torch.

  348.
  349. Alafia drops Iron x1.
  350.
  351. Alafia picks up Adept Staff.
  352.
  353. Adrioghana continued fixed on Khaine, it was time for the dog to stop the bullshit, there was no reason for him to do this...
  354.
  355. "Khaine, give Cluck back, join our side, stop walking with those fuckers..."
  356.
  357. Eyes on cluck one more time, a constant flow of darkness, seeing him on this place, no... it was a torment, a nightmare, it was the dreams all over again, they needed to give it back...
  358.
  359. "Give him back Eidolon, release my kin, or you people will know what is in truth a war, everyone will burn, everyone will taste the true power of the occult, you people... GIVE HIM BACK NOW!"
  360.
  361. A scream demanding it, no... she couldn't take it, she couldn't lose what she saw as her work, she just can't accept it, holding firmly the scythe... the eyes continued to fix on Cluck...
  362. (Adrioghana)
  363.
  364.
  365. Khaine exclaims, "Bon appetit. I would've feasted upon him myself, but I reckon yer' kind is poisonous. Gaahaha!"
  366. It seemed the raid was over and the forces of Askaheim had managed to force back their enemies. Unfortunately they just lost one of their greatest assets at the same time. Minos had somewhat admired his fellow Kin. Wondering how a chicken had obtained so much power.
  367.
  368. Now Minos figured he would have to rise above the situation and become the next demon able to achieve Kaor evolution. Swearing to protect the people of Askaheim in honor of his fallen kin.
  369.
  370. "Well it seems this is the constant concept of war. Win some, lose some. I promise next time we shall make sure those of Eidolon lose everything. I will do my best to ensure it alongside you all. My hunger grows insatiable."
  371. (Minos)
  372.
  373. Lucilius picks up Iron.
  374.
  375.
  376. Count Cluck says, "Heh i woudlnt be able to eat mutt...*cluck* i heard they taste like fur."
  377.
  378. Khaine says, "Fuck ya' Count cunt."
  379. Count Cluck* Your power makes up for lack of other things doesnt little dog. *cluck
  380. (Count Cluck)
  381.
  382. Red eyes slowly leer to the kaor, instantly beginning to... Vibrate. The kaor was boiling, a disgusting fizz adorning their amorphous body.
  383.
  384. "You.... Traitor."
  385.
  386.
  387. "You fool... You ignorant fool... You traitor-- Vile, disgusting, backstabbing creature."
  388.
  389. "Indeed- Yes, confirmed, affirmative. Step forward, towards me, towards us. You will die-- perish, burn, be devoured-- insignificant... Ant."
  390.
  391. "You are a child, to me. A foolish child, whom does not know anymore... You hold reasoning comparative to that of... A mortal."
  392.
  393. "You are not a mortal, Murmux-- Yet you are equally as vile."
  394.
  395. "Step forward and prove me wrong, coward."
  396. (Ka'vas)
  397.
  398. He landed somewhere deep in the forest, crashing hard with an impact and leaving behind a small crater. He didn't know how much time had passed but eventually he would rise up from his crash site. Though his hate for Holy magic grew and grew. Occult slowly creeping around him as his emotions flared.
  399.
  400. Letting out an unholy roar before rushing back towards Askaheim, speeding through like a madman.
  401.
  402. A bolt of lightning through the sky as he came crashing back down towards the rendezvous spot, panting hard as he leaned against the cliff wall. Staring into the sky. He felt like his heart was about to explode from all the work it had put in.
  403.
  404. (Nash)
  405.
  406. Alafia picked up the man's body that had inhibited static electricity from it's deceased form. The battle had neared it's end, and she brought it over to where the two factions had faced one another, while a cloud of darkness began to follow right behind her, indicating her prowess.
  407.
  408. Thowing the body onto the floor near her own faction, she walked over to hit and lifted the face of Mao, showing them who of their faction has deceased.
  409.
  410. "Tread against these lands more, if you want to be dreaded by the same fate of your deceased."
  411.
  412. Turning towards the enemy, the cloud was brought forth, hovering over her head as a lightning illuminated the condensed water, while a thunderclap breeched the surroundings. Rain began to timber over her, as she felt the gentleness feeling of soothing water clashing with her overheated body.
  413. (Alafia)
  414.
  415. On their leave, the Insectoid has heard a taunt of Ka'vas; but it knew very well that the gooey Demon had possessed far greater raw strength, one that it could not rival, not just yet.
  416.
  417. However, it's not something that Kaor could leave unresponded. It was not something that it could leave unchecked - even if it could not simply step up and face off against Ka'vas right now, there needed to be a way to irritate the Demon.
  418.
  419. To truly annoy him, to ensure that Ka'vas does not forget.
  420.
  421. "You speak the words- of someone- who has greater strength than mine. Yet- you will fall silent- once I even the odds- once I surpass you."
  422.
  423. "Until then- witness what will happen- to you."
  424.
  425. With that, the savage jaws of the Demon turned towards Count Cluck. The Insectoid buried its claw into the flesh of another Kaor, for the swarm to gather as well as it began digging their way through Count Cluck - it was a gory, horrible death at hands of the Insectoid, and Count Cluck was not even spared a final word at this point.

  428.
  429. Once the flesh of Count Cluck was swallowed infront of Ka'vas, the Demon spoke out.
  430.
  431. "I will come for you- later."
  432.
  433. The swarm has carried remnants and belongings of Count Cluck. Another Demon was dead.
  434. (Murmux)
