>In the Scarlet Forest of the Dark World, Toriel and Ralsei walked down the main path, having talked about the adventure he had with Kris and Susie, as well as talking about the Lighteners and the prophecy.
>"-then they went through the fountain itself and made it back home! At least, I hope they did."
>"Oh, do not worry about Kris, my child. He is safe and sound. I could not be happier that he is beginning to make friends for himself. Even if it is in a… a strange place such as this."
>Ralsei laughs a little, nodding, "He proved to be a good leader and a great friend! I truly can't wait to see him and Susie again…"
>"Then I shall let him know for you." Toriel reassured, the two of them turning the corner
>'I should not have been so harsh on him for being so late after school…' She ponders, thinking that she may owe him an apology after she returns home.
>After finishing a puzzle and unlocking a gate, they notice a small, ominous figure in their path, shadowed and grinning.
>"A-ah… Ralsei? Would you happen to know who that is?" Toriel asked, growing nervous that this confrontation with this new person might get ugly.
>"So… the sweet little peach himself has come out of his castle once more."
>"W-what?" Toriel asked, confused as she stepped a little closer
>The figure laughed a childish laugh, before stepping closer himself and grinning.
>Then, suddenly he became clear as day before Ralsei and Toriel, thanks to a bright yellow magical light under his feet
>"Wha- aw, come on! I was just trying to have a little bit of fun, toothpaste boy!"
>"We're happy to see you too Lancer," Ralsei mused, "but please don't do that? At least, not in front of our new Lightner friend."
>"Oh!! Another Lightener? But I thought the prophecy thing whatever was already fulfilled?" Lancer asked, stepping forward
>"Woah… she almost looks like you! Is she your mom?"
>"N… no, this is Toriel! She is actually Kris's mom."
>"Kris….? Oh! But how did she end up here?"
>"I ended up here after I fell asleep. It has been quite a strange experience… but it is a pleasure to meet you! Lancer, was it?
>"Yeah! And you're really nice, goatmom! Rven nicer than my own mom!"
>'Oh dear…'
>"And now we're trying to get her home!"
>"Oh… but why don't you use the fountain in your kingdom to get her home?"
>"Well… you see, the fountain we used to get Kris and Susie back to the Light World seemed to work, since Toriel said he is home safe and sound. I think it would be best to continue using that fountain while it is still active, because we at least now know it's a surefire way of getting them back home safely!"
>"That… makes a lot of sense actually. The fountain has been fading and acting super weird after those two clowns left, so you better be quick then!"
>"Oh, oh! Can I tag along?" Lancer asked
>"Sure! But ah, what were you doing out here in the first place, Lancer?"
>"I was ah… collecting tax. You know, like a king does!" He smiled with pride
>"...what kind of tax?"
>"Oh, you know… the… uh… pastry kind…" He smiled sheepishly now, hiding a Lancer cookie behind his back.
>Ralsei and Toriel giggled before the continued on, with Lancer in tow now.
>'The more the merrier!' She thought as the trio continued along.
>...yet, for some reason, she couldn't shake that feeling that something wasn't quite right.
