hey, I am new here and I never hear of Snoot Game until one of my friends told me that he made storys on here before.

can you guys tell me what it's about?

Someone could post the qrd pic that would sum it up far more than I can, but here goes:

It's a VN made by a random grabbag of anons from /v/ and some help from /lit/. While there's a healthy amount of memes and references thrown in there, it's more or less tasteful and not the short troll game people expected it to be. Waifu fatry ensues over the course of two+ months since then, with the usual amount of autism included. There is, however, a huge amount of OC both drawn and written, even a /sing/ project. Probably the most infamous in-fandom joke is about some poor writefg mislabelling a story.

I would say if you want to play the game, go ahead. It's a nice experience regardless of which ending you get (though I'm sure to get pelted by autismos for saying this); but if you're looking for the "golden days" of the fandom, that's gone. It's now a waifu-centric sperg going down the /mlp/ road of I NEED ART OF EVERY BACKGROUND CAHRACTER; as well as the de-facto point system of HOW GOSLAN ARE YOU. So there.

Oh, I should also say that the game to some degree follows the source material. Other than the characters and locations themselves, the elephant in the room being alphabet genders is actually addressed without it being a straight-up parody.

Anyway, the game generally follows Anon, a human recently transferred/moved to a school/town mainly populated by dinos, where humans are handled like an enthic minority. There's no polsht about that in game, only that he's a poorfg and that there is some prejudice. He's your average highschooler internet autist, and in the beginning his only goal is to stay under the radar till graduation. This doesn't really work out as he's being roped into social events by members of the student council, and by subsequently becoming part of the loser clique of the school, that being Fang and her crew (aka the main characters from GBVH). A romantic bond is formed between Anon and Fang, and it's up to the player choices' how that ends. There are many details and "subplots" that I deliberately left out here, in case you really do want to play the game.

I actually have a question to everyone who read it or is even slightly in the know about the story. Did you root for Stella or Fang? And as a followup, if you did read the story, did you root for one girl or the other out of personal preference due to snoot, or due to their presentation in the story? We're pretty far from snoot canon now, afterall.

The rest is just me running my mouth about the story, there's no point for anyone not interested in the story.

I'd also like to say a few words and a small spoiler for part 3. While this story was intended as a short bittersweet story with some dumb smut, it has grown into far more since then, and I want to treat it seriously with real character arcs and whatnot. But mainly I want each story to have a few key themes, that come into light if the reader really thinks about why each character does what they do. I want these questions to have a very simple answer so the story can make sense on the surface (eg.: Why is Fang acting up? Well she still loves Anon.), but also aim at making the reader ask the right chain of questions, essentially learning something more about the characters, themselves, and the real world.

Say if you don't accept the surface-level explanation to my example, it really makes one question how Fang doesn't know she won't get anywhere by just causing more drama. Is she incapable of pulling off a better plan, or is there more to it? Her agenda seems clear, but what if she's only out for revenge? Why did she patch Anon up then? Is her revenge only directed towards Stella? She's the one who started all this afterall, and Fang could clearly think that Stella will also hurt Anon, given her track record. If so, isn't that kind of a "white-man's-burden" type of deal? Making that decision about them without their knowledge or consent? It makes Fang's motivation questionable, so when she says "she only wants the best for Anon", it could even mean "I want to control your life". Sht like this manifests irl. and not only about relationships.

The theme for the first part the surface level theme was cheating, and below that was moral ambiguity. There are clearly right and wrong choices, cheating should never be rationalized, but it doesn't mean that the relationship at hand had no other problems, or that each of Anon's actions from that point on were wrong.

For the second part, the themes were learning to trust others, and further to learn from your mistakes but not them them define you. Anon clinging to the past only causes him misery, but without those experiences he never could have grown as a person.

For the third part, the surface level theme will be "out of time", and the other will be "simple truths should not be taken lightly".

thank anon, hell. when I know more of this game and read some story, maybe I can put some my own ideas in the ring if anyone want to pick them up and make a story out of it.

of course I am a big fan of crossover, horror, ETC. maybe I need to hold my self back before I make a idea that anon is secretly a government agent and was send to volcaldera because an anomaly was report there. so he goes undercover as a new high school student to find the anomaly as fast he can and get out of there.

sounds fuking crazy right?.
