- Covet: -Cadence was in the bedroom sitting on her laptop, looking over the webpage she had pulled up closely. She bit the inside of her cheek as she read over the words closely. Hashie was laying near her hand, having finally conceded to laying near the laptop, rather than on it after Cadence had to push him off a handfull of times earlier.-
- Tsaaq: Remy came into the apartment, closing the door behind him and locking it. "Thank god I didn't have to close today." He sighed, wiping his eyes and seeing nobody was in the livingroom. Assuming no one was home he went over to Strangles' cage so he could give him his daily greeting. "Hey buddy." He said in a high pitched voice. "How was your day?" He asked the reptile, tapping the glass.
- Covet: -Hearing someone in the house, Cadence turned her head and snuck over to the bedroom door, pulling it open quietly. She'd been smoking and wasn't necissarily paranoid, but was in a weird sneaky mood. Hashie happily made his way back to the keyboard to lay on it, fucking up her webpage in the process. Cadence heard Remy's voice taking to Strangles and turned her ear towards the gap she had in the door to hear him-
- Covet: [...Remy's got a really cool shirt on right now...I'm jealous of it. ]
- Tsaaq: ((:P))
- Tsaaq: "I feel bad, you just sit there in a cage all day and everybody around gets to be free and do whatever." He said with a sigh as he headed toward the kitchen pulling open the freezer and grabbed one of the frozen mice so he could feed it to Strangles. "Hungry?" Remy asked, opening he cage, dropping the mouse corpse in and locking it once more. "I need a little something if you catch my drift." He said while watching the snake.
- Covet: -Cadence frowned hearing Remy talk, kind fo feeling bad for Strangles too. Furrowing her brows she listened to him talk to the snake, wondering what the hell he was talking about. She blinked and sat there for a moment longer wondering if he'd say anything further. Her mind was wanting to jump to conclusions, but she was doing her best to keep her calm.-
- Tsaaq: Remy wiped his nose a few time and went to pull his hair out of it's bun as he went towards the bedroom door then stopped, patting his pockets and sighing. He went to the fridge again to retrieve a few pot brownies from work and sat down on the couch, kicking off his shoes as he munched on them. Remy took out his phone, dialing a number and holding it to his ear. "Hey." He greeted with his mouth full. "Nothing, just checking in and shit." He muttered. "It's cause I'm eating." He said as loud as his muffled voice would allow.
- Covet: -Cadence heard him walking closer to the door and went to get up so she could make a mad dash across the room if she needed. She exhaled again when he turned back around and then went to kick it on the couch. Taking a couple of deep breath, she opened the door up, hearing him talking with a mouthful of food. She wondered who the hell he was checking in with though-
- Tsaaq: "I don't know if I should get-" Remy started to say, looking over his shoulder once he heard the door creak open. He swallowed the remainder of the brownies and glanced at the door. "Hang on, I'll call you later or tomorrow. Or I'll text you. I don't know." Remy said, hanging up without saying bye as he went to look at Cadence. "I didn't know you were here." He said awkwardly.
- Covet: -Cadence gave him a wave from her now expossed spot.- The hummer is in the parking lot. I didn't have anything else to do today. So I've just been gaming, getting high and browsing the internet for...things. -She said letting the door swing open more as she got up and made her way into the living room.- Who was that? -she asked him, still chewing on the inside of her cheek, trying to sound casual about it.-
- Tsaaq: He glanced down at his phone a shrugged, putting it in his pocket. "It wasn't a chick or anything." Remy said, already a little sluggish from his binge of the brownies. He tried to slip past her. "I need to use the can though." He murmured, heading to the door of their bedroom.
- Covet: She moved out of his way, then spoke softly under her breath- That's not what I asked... -She followed behind him, crossing her arms with a sigh as he walked into the bedroom. She leaned against the frame of the door- Sounds like you know them pretty good, if you're checking in with them. -she said, not wanting that to sound accusatory.-
- Tsaaq: Remy stopped short and turned around to face her. "I don't know them that well." He said with a lazy shrug. "I was just calling about..." Remy trailed off, too much of the high sweeping over him that he couldn't formulate a sentence just yet. "Hang on, just stay there. Don't follow me." He finally said, holding his hand up to her and heading to bathroom.
- Covet: -Cadence stared at him as he tried to explain. Taking a deep breath she nodded at him- Kay. -she stood there watching him walk into the bathroom. She couldn't resist though, and made her way that direction once he'd gotten inside.- Give him the benefit of the doubt....He did just have brownies...But the bathroom time shit would make a lot more sense...as would his comment about the cats last night too. She humm'd and haw'd with herself over it, while she stood there, feeling her stomach knot up in anticipation.-
- Tsaaq: He closed the door behind him, petting his pockets and sighing. He put the toilet seat down and sat a moment, covering his face. "Ughhh." He grumbled, flushing nothing and exiting the bathroom. "Okay, what were you saying?" Remy asked.

- Covet: I was wondering who you were on the phone with. -She told him, in a soft tone, looking at him, with her arms still crossed.- You were going to tell me something before you ducked into the bathroom....-she trailed off, none of this easing how she was feeling.-
- Tsaaq: He stared at Cadence a moment then licked his lips as he looked away. "Oh, I don't remember but everything is fine." Remy told Cadence before going over to her and kissing her temple before walking towards the bed, pulling off his tank top.
- Covet: Well that's good news, I guess. -she said watching him closely. She closed her eyes as he kissed her head and walked past her, taking his shirt off.- I didn't realize anything wasn't fine. But I appreciate being reassured. -She said, then walked over to the table where the weed and other shit was.- Going to bed? -she asked him as she grabbed a lighter, and sparked up one of the bowls loaded in the bongs. She just wanted the knot in her stomach to go away.-
- Tsaaq: "Cadence, what?" He asked, sounding frustrated. "What did I do now? We've been good for the past few weeks. What?" Remy continued ask. "Cause I can tell you're upset or something about something and I'm stoned and I don't know if I can handle it right now." He sighed, pulling off his jeans.

- Covet: I don't know you tell me. I mean...you aren't lying about anything that I can tell, but I feel like you're witholding a lot of shit too right now. -She said to him, as she exhaled a cloud of smoke.- It has me concerned, and you haven't exactly made me feel like there's not a reason that I shouldn't be. -She played with the lighter in her hand flicking the flame on it, letting it burn and flicker for a few seconds before cutting it off, repeating the motion as she spoke.-
- Tsaaq: Remy groaned, rubbing his hands down his face. "I'm not allowed to-" He started to say before shaking his head. "You know what." He whispered. "I don't want to have this conversation. I don't know what the fuck to do, I'm trying to be lose. What happens? I'm 'withholding shit' I try to be grown up and serious and I'm 'grumpy'. Can I not win?"
- Covet: I'm sorry I can't ignore my instincts and intuition on this shit. There is a balance to it. You know what...Nevermind Sorry for even bringing it up. Just go to bed or whatever and forget I even said anything. I'll keep my worries to myself, since apparently it's all just in my head. Not like I have a valid reason or cause to be concerned or anything, but I don't want you to feel like I'm making you into some badguy. So whatever. I'll be in bed later. -she told him, still playing with the lighter, taking another hit off her bowl-
- Tsaaq: "I can't even sleep now." He sighed, drowsily putting his clothes on. "Even if I am keeping shit from you, everything I do, I do it so I can stay with you. You're in every decision I make and every other thought that pops into my head." Remy said, pulling on his tank top and zipping up his pants and heading out of the bedroom towards the front door.
- Covet: -Cadence frowned and closed her eyes as he spoke, feeling like an asshole now. She sighed and set down the bong, getting up to run to the bedroom door.- Wait! Look...I'm not good, with being left in the dark...I can't help that. I try...but can you blame me for my trust faltering and thinking the worst? I don't want to...I really don't. But It's not that easy with addiction. You and I both know that. -she said trying to explain herself- Please don't leave...I'm sorry.
- Tsaaq: Remy stopped walking cause he was already mad about having to wear clothes again. He crossed his arms over his chest and turned to look at her. "I already put on my pants..." He trailed off, blinking slowly because he was probably geniunely tired. He went back into the bedroom with a sigh.
- Covet: -She nodded her head at him and turned around so she could walk behind him, getting undressed so she could get in bed. She still felt like an asshole though.-
