Sonic knocks some doors off of their hinges

Sonic sprinted ahead and at the last moment leaped into the air, spinning like a blue cannonball. He hit the doors with a tremendous thud and they burst open, flying off their hinges into the room beyond. Sonic flew on, into the room, and landed perfectly on his feet beside the bearded scientists, who was giving some kind of speech and did not seem to have noticed he interruption.
