  2. HOW TO INSTALL A ONE COMMAND - BY THE SPELLBOOK
  3.
  4. This is the basic tutorial on how to install a command.
  5. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6.
  7.
  8.
  9. HOW TO INSTALL A COMMAND - THE BASICS
  10.
  11.
  12.
  13. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14. STEP ONE - Get into your Minecraft world
  15. You have to join a singleplayer world, I'm not gonna explain how to do that ^^
  16. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17. STEP 2 - Give yourself a command block
  18. In order to do that we will need to type a command in the chat:
  19. /give @p command_block
  20. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21. STEP 3 - Place it down
  22. Ahem.. left-click? :P
  23. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24. STEP 4 - Copy the command
  25. Now go to the command which you want to install, and select it.
  26. Make sure you selected the WHOLE command. Then, right-click and click the "Copy"
  27. option.
  28. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  29. STEP 5 - Paste the command
  30. Now you need to go to your minecraft world, and right-click the command block
  31. so its GUI (Graphical User Interface) will appear.
  32. You see the black bar? That's where the command goes.
  33. Just click this, and then you will need a special shortcut to paste in the command.
  34.
  35.
  36. If you have a normal Windows keyboard ("Ctrl" key in the left down corner, and next to it a Window key)
  37. Then you have to do Ctrl + V (The + not included of course).
  38.
  39. If you have a Apple keyboard however ("command" key next to both sides of the space bar)
  40. You have to do command + V
  41.
  42. If you have a German keyboard (The Strg key is in the down left corner)
  43. You have to do Strg + V
  44.
  45. If you have no keyboard... just kidding.
  46.
  47. If a long text appears in the black bar, you successfully pasted the command!
  48. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  49. STEP 6 - Activate the command block
  50. Close the command block GUI; just click "Done".
  51. Now you have to activate the command block in any way you like!
  52. I prefer to use a redstone block, but you can also activate it with a torch.
  53.
  54. If you are in Minecraft 1.9, you can also click "Needs Redstone" once,
  55. so it will activate once you click Done. This is the same as powering it with redstone.
  56. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  57. STEP 7 - Done!
  58. If you have done everything correctly,
  59. - A pile of command blocks and redstone blocks appears.
  60. OR
  61. - A bunch of instantly dissappearing Minecarts with command blocks in them appear.
  62. If that happens, and after that a machine appears, then you have
  63. successfully installed a command into your world! Good job!
  64.
  65. You can now enjoy your installed command!
