Rock Band Maids - Session 1

[23:12] <GM-BNS> =Last time on Rock Band: Maids; A young and hungry group of girls looking for stardom in all the wrong places decided to walk the path so many have tried... they started a band. With Tomoe, the energetic heart of the band on Rhythm Guitar; Sibyl, the savant with her head in the clouds on Lead Guitar, and Red, the gruff and rough leader of the band trying to keep it all together on Drums, they practiced for months and are finally ready to make their big debut... at the local Battle of the Bands contest!=
[23:25] <GM-BNS> =Now they are finally ready for their big debut... the local Battle of the Bands contest!=
[23:26] <GM-BNS> -The band arrives at the school where the contest will be held, in their van.-
[23:26] <Jerl|Tomoe> Are we there yet?
[23:27] * [Mys]Red idles the van in front
[23:27] <[Mys]Red> Yeah, we're here, unload some of the things and I'll find a parking spot and grab the rest afterward.
[23:28] <Jerl|Tomoe> Alright
[23:28] * Jerl|Tomoe slides open the door, grabbing a couple guitar cases and a bag full of cables
[23:29] <Jerl|Tomoe> Hmm, so, since we don't have a bassist, I'm filling in for tonight
[23:29] <Jerl|Tomoe> I hope I do alright, it's been a while.
[23:29] <GM-BNS> -The band parks and unloads their gear, and are walking into the building when they are suddenly knocked over by another band carrying THEIR gear! Stuff goes flying everywhere!-
[23:29] <Jerl|Tomoe> HEY
[23:29] * Jerl|Tomoe yells at the other band
[23:30] <Jerl|Tomoe> If there's even a scratch on my equipment, you're paying for the replacements!
[23:30] * [Rut]Sibyl doesn't get up.
[23:30] <[k]Anne> ...
[23:30] * [k]Anne stares.
[23:30] <Jerl|Tomoe> Did you hear me?
[23:31] * Jerl|Tomoe starts unzipping guitar cases
[23:31] <[Rut]Sibyl> Ow... someone left the garage closed all the way again...
[23:31] <[k]Anne> I hear that. I pay that no mind.
[23:31] * [k]Anne continue her path.
[23:31] <Jerl|Tomoe> ...Hey! It's your fault!
[23:31] * Jerl|Tomoe grabs Anne
[23:31] <[k]Anne> Violent brute. Let me go this instant.
[23:31] * [k]Anne glasses shift.
[23:31] <Jerl|Tomoe> Not until I see a check!
[23:32] * [Mys]Red caught everything she could... Which was actually quite a bit... and sets it aside.
[23:32] <[Rut]Sibyl> Violence Brute? Uh, I don't know the notes to that song.
[23:32] * [Tess]Evelyn grabs Tomoe's arm, rather forcefully.
[23:32] <Jerl|Tomoe> Look, you even knocked the senses out of Sibyl!
[23:32] <[Rut]Sibyl> Sounds metal~
[23:32] <[k]Anne> ...
[23:32] <[Tess]Evelyn> Well, we do seem to have a little something on our hands, don't we?
[23:32] <[k]Anne> on her hands, rather. She's grabbing me.
[23:33] <Jerl|Tomoe> Yeah, but that's only because you're refusing to pay for what you've broken!
[23:34] <[k]Anne> I see nothing broke but your manner.
[23:34] <GM-BNS> -The two girls are about to come to blows when an announcement comes on over the PA system.-
[23:34] * [Mys]Red dusts off her baggy pants and assesses the damage... Apparently Tomoe is already trying to get into another tiff.
[23:35] <GM-BNS> -PING PONG- "Attention! The Battle of the Bands will begin in 10 minutes! All bands, please proceed to registration!"
[23:35] <Jerl|Tomoe> Ah, that's us.
[23:35] <[Tess]Evelyn> Not good, not good. Certainly leaves it in your hands to choose what happens next, doesn't it?
[23:36] * Rikako simply sighs and looks at the people making a mess of themselves..
[23:36] <Jerl|Tomoe> Oh, hey, Red
[23:36] * [k]Anne pick up her violin box, and head out as if nothing happened.
[23:36] <[k]Anne> Farewell, brute.
[23:36] <Jerl|Tomoe> You're going to register us as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, right?
[23:37] <[Mys]Red> Come on Sibyl. We need to sign up...
[23:37] * Jerl|Tomoe ignores Anne, already back on the subject of the band name that was such a conflict in past practices
[23:37] <[Rut]Sibyl> Adieu, brute~ Et tu, brute~
[23:38] <[Mys]Red> It's been months Tomoe... I know you're stuck on that name... But ARGHHH.
[23:38] <[Mys]Red> JUST THIS ONCE
[23:39] <Jerl|Tomoe> Fine fine
[23:39] * [Mys]Red slaps Tomoe hard in the back.
[23:39] <Jerl|Tomoe> We'll go with your name...For now.
[23:39] <Jerl|Tomoe> Argh, ow!
[23:39] <Jerl|Tomoe> Just because you can take it no matter how hard I hit you doesn't mean I can take it back!
[23:39] * [Tess]Evelyn moves off after Anne, disappointed by the turn of events. More important things to worry about now.
[23:39] * [Mys]Red grins wryly
[23:40] <[Mys]Red> thanks Tomo
[23:40] <GM-BNS> -The Great Band Name Debate having finally come to an end, the two bands quickly make their way inside, register, and begin to prepare for their turn onstage.-
[23:41] <GM-BNS> -Suddenly, the PA system comes on-
[23:41] <GM-BNS> -PING PONG- "Next up, a new band coming up on the scene, we give you... OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER!"
[23:41] * [Rut]Sibyl pulls something from within her jacket: A bunny-eared headband. She puts it on with a serious face.
[23:41] <Jerl|Tomoe> That's us!
[23:41] <Jerl|Tomoe> Let's go!
[23:41] * [Mys]Red .oO(ffffff.....)
[23:42] <[Rut]Sibyl> I
[23:42] * Jerl|Tomoe grabs gear
[23:42] <[Rut]Sibyl> Ready!
[23:42] <Rikako>  What an.....odd name......I think?
[23:42] * [Mys]Red cracks her knuckles and spins her sticks.
[23:42] <[Mys]Red> Ready.
[23:43] * Jerl|Tomoe reflexively grabs pick, then catches herself and pockets it.
[23:43] <Jerl|Tomoe> Ready.
[23:43] <GM-BNS> -You make your way out to the stage and set up in your places. You can see that the crowd is somewhat dead. It's been a less than stellar field of competition so far.
[23:43] <GM-BNS> One obnoxious kid a few rows back screams "YOUR BAND NAME SUCKS!"
[23:44] <Jerl|Tomoe> SLANDER
[23:44] * Rikako giggles.
[23:44] * Jerl|Tomoe glares threateningly
[23:44] * [Rut]Sibyl yawns.
[23:44] * [Mys]Red heads to the microphone and taps it. "That's what I said." She smiles toward the back of the crowd.
[23:45] * Jerl|Tomoe frowns.
[23:45] * [Mys]Red heads to her stool and swivels into her position. She clicks of a familiar tempo.
[23:46] * [Rut]Sibyl flexes and loosens her fingers.
[23:47] * Jerl|Tomoe holds fingers over strings to mute them until her turn to play comes up
[23:47] * [Mys]Red triggers the flares to go off, igniting the stage with smoke and light. The drum opening isn't flashy, but it definitely makes the audience feel the beat.
[23:48] * Jerl|Tomoe grins beamingly, but after a moment starts to worry about the mess that the flares are making
[23:49] * [Mys]Red is really getting the triple forte a new high despite the second hand sound system. Red is into it she loses her jacket almost immediately.
[23:50] * [Rut]Sibyl is all but blind to the pretty lights. She hits her opening riff hard when it comes.
[23:51] * Jerl|Tomoe follows with bass when the time comes
[23:51] <GM-BNS> The crowd begins to stir a little, no act so far tonight has been so energetic.
[23:52] <GM-BNS> -With all three members playing, the song flows nicely into its melody. The crowd starts to get into it and there are even a few whistles.-
[23:54] * [Mys]Red lives for these kind of things. Her sticks move with practiced grace.
[23:55] * [Mys]Red begins to and juggle a thirds stick into the mix.
[23:55] * Jerl|Tomoe manages a decent performance with the not-too-familliar instrument, pulling through via knowledge of a very similar playing style
[23:56] <GM-BNS> The crowd suddenly perks up upon seeing Red's trick, and the whistles start to turn into cheers and much of the crowd is standing.
[23:56] * [k]Anne is in the staff room, praying.
[23:57] * Jerl|Tomoe grins at the crowd's response to Red showing off. Popularity = MONEY MONEY MONEY
[23:58] * [Mys]Red stops on cue for the guitar solo. She enjoys the break as it gives her time to wander the stage mid-song.
[23:58] * Jerl|Tomoe also stops
[23:59] * Jerl|Tomoe fumbles in pocket for guitar pick, since she's much more comfortable with one
[23:59] * [Rut]Sibyl suddenly erupts into a torrent of notes strung together seamlessly by rippling power chords. The technique seems to generate an electricity all it's own, yet doesn't for a second break from the tempo of the others. Sibyl, however, carries herself with a certain stoicism through it all...
[23:59] * [Mys]Red kneels in front of Sibyl and does mock worship bows as she tears it up...
[00:00] <GM-BNS> The crowd goes nuts. Everyone's on their feet and the cheers are deafening.
[00:01] * [Mys]Red then makes a full circles  of the stage front giving high fives and fist bumps.
[00:02] * Jerl|Tomoe waits patiently for her time to rejoin the song
[00:03] * [Mys]Red returns to her throne behind the drums and joins the ending solo in a recapitulation of the opening verses.
[00:03] <Jerl|Tomoe> whoops
[00:03] * Jerl|Tomoe perfectly times her re-entrance into the song to increase the energy of Sibyl's feverish playing
[00:04] * [Rut]Sibyl 's pace doesn't falter; it meshes in.
[00:06] <GM-BNS> The roof of the place is about to blow off. The audience is ecstatic.
[00:07] <[k]Anne> ......
[00:07] * [k]Anne sweatdrops.
[00:08] <[k]Anne> Am I going to be ok..? A rock band is not a place for a violinist.....
[00:08] <[Mys]Red> Does a resounding exit as her part ends before the last few notes.
[00:08] * [Rut]Sibyl become come stronger, more methodical, as the song nears it's finish. The ending note is... resounding".
[00:09] * Jerl|Tomoe energetically follows Sibyl to the dazzling finish of the song
[00:09] <GM-BNS> The crowd explodes. The cheers are almost as loud as the song was.
[00:10] <GM-BNS> The Em-Cee stumbles out onto the stage dramatically. "Whoa, what a performance! Ladies and gentlemen, OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER!"
[00:10] * Jerl|Tomoe grins at her choice for a band name being called once again
[00:10] <GM-BNS> The crowd screams 'Encore' repeatedly as you make your exit off-stage. You faintly hear amongst the cheers, "YOUR BAND NAME STILL SUCKS!"
[00:11] * Jerl|Tomoe whispers to red
[00:11] <Jerl|Tomoe> ....They want an encore.  Do you have anything planned?
[00:12] <GM-BNS> The Em-Cee overhears you and murmurs, "Sorry, we still have one more band. But we'll let you play if you want after we name the winner."
[00:12] <Jerl|Tomoe> Aww, crowds love encores...
[00:12] * [Rut]Sibyl doesn't move, nor does she look up from the frets of her instrument.
[00:12] <Jerl|Tomoe> That's how you make good money, good encores.
[00:12] * Jerl|Tomoe moves to le- wait
[00:13] <Jerl|Tomoe> Sibyl, it's time to get off the stage now
[00:13] * [k]Anne is sweating profusely.
[00:13] * Jerl|Tomoe grabs SIbyl and carries her offstage
[00:14] <[k]Anne> ----!
[00:14] * [k]Anne o0(This is bad... and they perform so well ahead of us....!)
[00:14] * [Rut]Sibyl exhales for a good few seconds. You can see that here eyes are closed over the rims of her sunglasses.
[00:15] <GM-BNS> "And now... we have our LAST band of the night! You may have seen them around town at some of the cafes, and they've been the talk of the underground for a while now! Ladies and gentlemen, we give you, SANUS EPULUM!
[00:15] <[Rut]Sibyl> Mm... sorry guys. I was just chilling a bit. It was a good song~
[00:15] <[k]Anne> It's time!
[00:15] <[Tess]Evelyn> Well, here's our shot. Give it our all, huh?
[00:16] * [k]Anne nods.
[00:16] <Rikako>  Right.
[00:16] * [k]Anne is the first one on stage. she drags an uncommon instrument for a rock music... electrical violin, on the stage.
[00:16] * [k]Anne sets up.
[00:17] * Jerl|Tomoe raises eyebrow
[00:17] <GM-BNS> The crowd is still wound up from OCD's performance. The happy crowd cheers a bit as you get on stage. A few people are chanting 'OCD, OCD!'
[00:17] <Rikako>  We're not OCD..
[00:18] * [k]Anne inhale....
[00:18] * [k]Anne exhale.
[00:18] <[k]Anne> ready.
[00:18] * [k]Anne tap
[00:18] * [k]Anne tap

[00:19] * [Tess]Evelyn takes the center of the stage. Not such a great place to be at this point, but she seems to be handling alright.
[00:19] <Rikako>  Ready?...
[00:20] * [k]Anne starts a long string of seemlessly bowing of notes, similiar to guitar leading. Up and down, up and down long and short. She shows her finger finesse to the crows.
[00:20] <[k]Anne> -----!
[00:20] * [k]Anne eyes is fixed on the violin. No mistakes!
[00:20] <GM-BNS> The crowd goes quiet. A few people murmur, but most are silent.
[00:21] * Rikako starts immediately with a low tone tempo strum... she does this with her eyes closed and and murmurs a rythm.
[00:21] * [k]Anne steps on the amp and continue her longass solo.
[00:23] * [k]Anne is in generic shirt with generic blue longass skirt. She looks like a catholic school student.
[00:23] <[k]Anne> rrrrrRRRAAAAAAH!
[00:23] * [k]Anne roars.
[00:23] <GM-BNS> The crowd cheers in response.
[00:23] * Rikako smirks... just as planned.
[00:24] * Rikako continues on, she immediately picks up the pace and starts out.
[00:25] * [Tess]Evelyn waits for a few beats for her cue, tapping her heel to keep count, then begins to sing.
[00:29] <GM-BNS> As you continue to sing, several of the audience begin to clap along with the bass tone.
[00:30] * [k]Anne retreat to the back and let Eve take the spotlight.
[00:30] * Rikako takes a few step back and keeps her pace, 1..2..1...
[00:30] * [Tess]Evelyn picks it up gradually, starting with a rather calm demeanor, but progressively becoming more enthusiastic. She begins to move her hips with the rhythm, then takes the microphone in her hand and starts to move around.
[00:31] <GM-BNS> You start to get whistles and catcalls from the audience and more people are clapping. They're playing right into your hands.
[00:32] <Rikako>  Hehehe... cmon.. you sheep.. one more step..
[00:32] * [k]Anne is so absorbed in her role as a violinist. She doesn't exactly care the audience.
[00:33] * [k]Anne o0(no mistake... no mistake....!!)
[00:34] * [Tess]Evelyn drifts across the front of the stage once, crouching down so as to ensure eye contact with those up front while she keeps up the lyrics.
[00:35] <GM-BNS> The audience is electric. One guy in the front row screams 'MARRY ME!'
[00:35] * Rikako breaks the even pace and swings at her bass guitar wildly in response..
[00:35] <[Rut]Sibyl> He~y... isn't that the guy who said our name sucks?
[00:35] <Jerl|Tomoe> ssh.
[00:35] * Jerl|Tomoe quiets Sibyl
[00:36] * [k]Anne answers that guy in front row.
[00:36] <[k]Anne> Not until I know you better more than one year!
[00:37] * [k]Anne steps up and stand asides Eve, helping with some of the background vocal. She's not the best, but at least it's passable.
[00:38] * [Tess]Evelyn responds to the increasing intensity by moving from tapping her heel to stomping her foot, making her movements much more pronounced. She moves so as to be back to back with Anne, her side facing the audience.
[00:39] * Rikako smiles... and tosses her guitar, screaming "Catch this boys!".
[00:39] * [k]Anne going finale'!
[00:40] * Rikako .oO( Damn it.. that's the third guitar this year!)
[00:41] <GM-BNS> One of the crowdgoers catches the guitar and throws it back. He then pumps his fist in the air and cheers wildly.
[00:42] * [k]Anne see the incoming thing she register as projectile and deflect it onto the ground using her leg.
[00:42] * Rikako takes it...and blows a kiss at the guy who caught it.
[00:42] * [Tess]Evelyn matches up with Anne's last notes, bringing up her voice to a much higher point. She ends her part of the song with a powerful and sustained note, then breathing deeply and moving to the front of the stage again. She winks at the guy from earlier before devoting her attention to those a bit further back.
[00:44] <GM-BNS> The crowd erupts in cheers and several fans are trying to climb onstage, apparently lovestruck by Evelyn's antics
[00:45] <GM-BNS> The Em-Cee steps out from the back. "An amazing performance as always from the odds-on favorite! Everyone, SANUS EPULUM!
[00:45] * [k]Anne sighs.
[00:46] <[k]Anne> I didn't miss.
[00:47] * [Tess]Evelyn slaps Anne on the back.
[00:47] <[Tess]Evelyn> 'Course not. How could you?
[00:47] * Rikako turns to them.. and grins.
[00:47] <Rikako>  Good job, we did well girls.
[00:47] <[k]Anne> I'm so nervous that I might miss a note on stage.
[00:47] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> Ok, folks! It's the moment of truth!
[00:47] * [k]Anne hugs Rikako
[00:47] <[k]Anne> Thank god I didn't miss.
[00:48] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> The time when YOU get to choose the winner of the BATTLE OF THE BAAAAANDS!!!
[00:48] * Jerl|Tomoe becomes alert.
[00:48] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> -The crowd cheers!-
[00:48] <Rikako> hmph.. ..
[00:48] <Rikako>  not yet girls~..
[00:48] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> I think it's fairly clear to everyone here that there's really only two bands up for consideration here, so let's get them out here...
[00:49] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> Everyone, welcome back OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER, and SANUS EPULUM!
[00:49] * Jerl|Tomoe stands up and walks up to the stage, making sure to drag Sibyl behind her
[00:49] * Rikako looks at the duo and giggles.. keeping to herself though.
[00:50] * [Rut]Sibyl is dragged. And doesn't put up much of a fight.
[00:50] <[Rut]Sibyl> W-wha? It was only for a few seconds, I swear!
[00:50] * [Tess]Evelyn looks at the other band, then back at the crowd.
[00:50] <[k]Anne> ......?
[00:51] <[k]Anne> we got called?
[00:51] <Rikako>  Of course.
[00:51] * Jerl|Tomoe shoots a sinister grin at Anne before gazing out to the crowd with a much more warm smile.
[00:51] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> Ok folks! It's time to choose! Remember, cheer hard for your favorite band! The loudest reaction wins!
[00:51] * [Rut]Sibyl gives Anne a thumbs up.
[00:51] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> Let's hear it for... OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER!!
[00:52] * [k]Anne is shaking like a chick in russian winter without a coat.
[00:52] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> The crowd erupts in cheers and chants of 'OCD! OCD!', with one small cry of '...NAME SUCKS...'
[00:52] * [Tess]Evelyn pets Anne's shoulder in an effort to calm her down.
[00:52] * Jerl|Tomoe twitches eyebrow
[00:53] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> A nice reaction... now let's hear it for... SANUS EPULUM!!!
[00:54] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> More cheers, and cries of 'MARRY ME!!' fill the room.

[00:54] * [k]Anne waves to the crowd as her self-esteem comes back to her.
[00:55] * [Tess]Evelyn winks at the crowd again, lowering her glasses to heighten the effect.

[00:55] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> Damn. I can't seem to tell any difference. You guys love both these bands.
[00:55] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> I think there's only one way to settle this.
[00:56] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> It's time for... A DUEL!
[00:56] * [GMBNS]Em-Cee turns to the two bands.
[00:56] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> Ladies... take your positions! It's time for your encore!
[00:56] * Jerl|Tomoe grins excitedly.
[00:56] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> The crowd erupts in cheers and cries of 'ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!'
[00:57] <[k]Anne> whatthe--?!
[00:57] <Rikako> May.The best band... win.
[00:57] * [k]Anne is not prepared!
[00:57] * Jerl|Tomoe smirks at Anne's lack of preparedness, as she already has her equipment set up.
[00:57] * [Tess]Evelyn dusts her hands off, thinking of the best way to handle this. What to sing...
[00:58] * [k]Anne look at Eve. What to do?!
[00:58] * [Rut]Sibyl shifts into a comfortable position.
[00:58] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> Now ladies, the way this works is... you'll both play the same song. Do what you have to do to outclass the other band! May the best women win!
[00:59] <[GMBNS]Em-Cee> The crowd cheers!
[00:59] * [GMBNS]Em-Cee makes his exit off-stage

[01:00] * Jerl|Tomoe yells at the announcer guy.
[01:00] <Jerl|Tomoe> What song are we playing?
[01:02] * Jerl|Tomoe changes setups from bass to rhythm guitar.
[01:05] * [k]Anne take point. Setting up for what may come.
[01:05] <[k]Anne> Real performers can take any unpredicted situations.
[01:06] <[k]Anne> Come what may.
[01:06] * [k]Anne ready her bow.
[01:06] * Rikako pats Anne on the back..
[01:06] <Rikako> That's the spirit.
[01:06] * Jerl|Tomoe takes a moment to ensure PERFECT tuning on her guitar, a royal blue Fender Stratocaster HSS
[01:07] * [Tess]Evelyn moves up to the center stage, but a little to the side to make room for her counterpart.
[01:08] * Rikako pets her Rickenbacker 4001, a neon blue and white.. just a light twang~
[01:08] * Jerl|Tomoe walks up and stands next to Evelyn
[01:09] * [GMBNS]Red spins her drumsticks and taps the rhythm to start the lead-in
[01:09] * Rikako sides by Red, she smiles at said person and turns to face the audience, awaiting her turn.
[01:09] * [k]Anne take initiative and begins first with her violin leading.
[01:10] * [k]Anne is standing still, focused. her performance is flawless yet powerful for some reason.
[01:11] * Jerl|Tomoe accents the classical sound of a violin with the more modern sound of heavy rock power chords
[01:11] * [k]Anne is now standing on the front amp!
[01:12] <[k]Anne> ------!
[01:12] <[k]Anne> o0 (flawless! no mistake! perfect score!)
[01:12] * [k]Anne hold shift for focused movement.
[01:13] * Jerl|Tomoe confidently follows Anne's lead
[01:17] * [Rut]Sibyl finishes tuning her Ibanez and starts with slow, soulful chords, using the twelve-string half's depth of sound to it's fullest.
[01:18] * [GMBNS]Red joins into the mix with a strong drumline, trying to drown out the bassist
[01:19] * Jerl|Tomoe , with no competition from the vocalist, continues to solidly guide the song's rhythm
[01:19] * Rikako giggles... and gladly paces with Red easily.
[01:20] * [k]Anne thinks.
[01:20] * [Tess]Evelyn waits for several beats, tapping her foot again to count for her cue. After a few moments she begins to sing, composed and attentive to her counterpart's actions.
[01:20] <[k]Anne> o0(I must add more flair! Perfect music is not enough for this competition!)
[01:21] * Rikako plays her frets with extreme precision, this is what you've been training for!.. lets grind this idiot to the dust!
[01:21] * [k]Anne step down from the amp, and.... starts walking through the crowd while playing. Good thing hers is wireless.
[01:22] * [GMBNS]Red wails on the skins, keeping rhythm while adding additional beats that match Rikako's frets in intensity

With a flick of the wrist, the tone and pace fluxes, jumping from powerful, heavy-set tones (when the opposing band's playing grew gentle) to thundering rolls (when the opposing band's playing lowered in volume). An uncharacteristically offensive attempt to shift the balance.
[01:27] * Jerl|Tomoe closely follows Sibyl, waiting for an opportune moment to bring the contest home

[01:31] * [Tess]Evelyn makes sure to keep count with Tomoe, trying to outdo her not by volume but by pacing her words with her exactly and generally moving around a lot more. She drops by the front once again, but actually stops to pound fists as she goes.
[01:32] * [Rut]Sibyl 's fingers dance, speeding up to make "room" for her partner. Red was on fire (haha, get it?), but she wasn't going to slow down just yet. Sibyl could tell.
[01:33] * [Rut]Sibyl achieves solospeed! Like Han Solo and Hyperspeed in that movie only... wait...
[01:33] * [GMBNS]Red is practically rolling her drums now, placing emphases on the bassline notes and smashing the cymbals on the cresendos.

[01:33] * Jerl|Tomoe catches into the solo, mixing notes skillfully with Sibyl's to create an amazing symbiosis of sounds, a duo-solo of sorts.

[01:36] * Jerl|Tomoe forcefully backs Sibyl on her solo, before returning to rhythm with perfect timing for her deep, distorted sound to deliver a massive impact
[01:38] * [Tess]Evelyn counteracts by turning to even greater force with Anne in their own duet, doing her utmost to keep with Anne's intensity and outdo their opponents once they've reached a lull.
[01:39] * [Rut]Sibyl accompanies Tomoe with a rapid, warbling cascade, winding down to the finish!
[01:39] * Jerl|Tomoe powerfully strikes the last resounding chord, drawing it out for emphasis.
[01:39] * [k]Anne slips into support role and give Eve all the spotlight.

[01:40] * [GMBNS]Red rolls the drums into a powerful and solumn slowing of pace, until the drumbeat is nearly inaudible
[01:41] * Rikako has this red sheen in her eyes, frettin so quick, you can barely hear the skips between each one, slowly coming to a finish.
[01:43] * [Tess]Evelyn drags out the final notes, putting her all into her voice and stopping her movements until they've ended.
[01:43] * [GMBNS]Red finishes with a final clash of the cymbals, accompanied by a simultaneous power cord from the rest of the group.
[01:44] * [k]Anne finish with a flair. Now she wish someone could pop the stage fireworks.
