[14:53] Tea says, "So you're..."
[14:53] Tea asks, "The old Stellus' kid?"
[14:54] Waylan mer Joyau asks, "Are you refering to my mother, Del?"
[14:54] Tea says, "Uh huh."
[14:54] Waylan mer Joyau says, "Yes."
[14:54] Tea asks, "Do you want her weapon back?"

[14:58] Waylan was baffled, first a demon and next someone telling him about his mother's weapon. This was truly one hell of a day, but he was grateful.


"You really have it? I'd be grateful... This is truly something I didn't expect."

He was in a state of shock, but what more could he really say to the young girl.

"Thank you for seeking me out, it means more to me than you might know."

He finally had something that would remind him of his mother, something he could keep with him at all times. He could feel her looking down on him at the moment, she was truly watching out for him.

[15:05] Tea folds her arms over her chest and hears him out politely. Though she didn't really know the guy, from what she'd heard he had good intentions and would help the city remain safe. It was sufficient cause to help him with something like this.

Besides that, it was something she'd have wanted someone to help her with if their positions were reversed. Naturally she doubted anyone would.

"I don't have it, but I know the guy who's got it. n' I'm like... ninety nine percent sure he'll just give it to you as long as you ask nicely n' explain your situation. Don't demand it or anything."

She didn't want another incident.

"He doesn't like holding onto stuff he's got no use for-"

As the very teen in question walks past, Tea waves and calls out to him.

"Oh, there he is. Anthonio!"

[15:13] She didn't have it? This wasn't what he expected, but it seems like he might still have a chance to reclaim it? offered her a slight nod.

"Really? I thought you had it, but I guess knowing it's still around is something that gives me a bit of hope. I won't demand anything, but it's nice to know it's close--"

Huh? Speaking of the devil it seemed the person who held the weapon was around? Who was the guy she was speaking about? He turned towards who she thought she was speaking about.

"Who are you talking about? Which one are you referring to?"

[15:13] Anthonio Montclaire says, ".. Mh."
[15:13] Anthonio Montclaire asks, "Are you talking about me?"
[15:14] Tea says, "Yup."
[15:14] Tea says, "You two should talk this out."
[15:14] Anthonio Montclaire asks, "Yes. Hello. What am I talking out?"
[15:14] Tea pats Waylan's shoulder.

She wouldn't fight this battle for him.

[15:20] Waylan turned towards the younger male, it seems the situation continued growing more tense with each passing moment.

"My name is Waylan mer Joyau, it's a pleasure to meet you. I was informed that you have my mother's weapon, would you mind if I acquired that from you?"

Waylan wasn't sure how this would pan out, but it would be nice to add to their family collection. It meant something to him and knowing it was around filled him with joy.

"It would mean a lot if I could have it again; I didn't know it was still floating around. I'd appreciated it a lot if you would consider giving it to me."

[15:26] Ant' hums softly to himself, finally remembering where he had seen the boy's face before.

There's very little else that came from him as Waylan explained his situation. Aside from a faint smile that crept its way onto his features.

He only chimes in after Waylan was done, completely disregarding anything he had said prior. As if he were just waiting for him to stop making noise before speaking himself.

".. Right, so you are the one who is advertising the rise of Celestialism again?" He'd huff, "That is a problem. Since that is what I am doing right now. And we very well can not have two separate churches, now can we?"

He'd reach out with one of his black-nail painted hands.

"So why not just work together then. Hm? Instead of trying to go behind the backs of others?"

[15:32] Waylan squints at the young man who made quite a few assumptions about him. If this was the male who he believed was mentioned to him before this would become problematic.

"It's not two separate churches seeing as one hasn't been built, correct? I'm not sure what you've been doing, but I can't let a location stop me from pushing forward my own goals."

Waylan tapped his cheek a few times, he was sure this was the very same person.

"If I recall somebody told me you had them questioning their own faith. I don't think having that would create a positive environment that I'm seeking to create.

I'm not going behind your back, but this doesn't mean I'll stop what I'm doing or change my preference at all. You're welcome to join the few others who've sought me out with the same goals in mind."

[15:36] Tea hums while watching things unfold. She'd introduced them and said what she believed needed to be said.

The rest was up to them. It was their own battle.

Content, the Rhoynish turns on her heel.

[15:39] Ant's brow furrowed slightly.

"Questioning their own faith..? Surely you have me mistaken with someone else." Canting his head off to the side, a hand rose, tapping at his chin in thought. "Perhaps you got things mixed up around the same time you seemed to mix my own goals up with yours..? Hm..? Is that why you are riding on my coattails..?"

"Stealing my ideas?"

"Trying to put your name on my work?"

Scoffing, his arms moved to fold across his chest.

".. Sorry, but I will be keeping my lovely staff. It looks nice on my mantle."

[15:47] "Oh? Well do be sure to take good care of it. The fact that the weapon is still intact is enough for me at the moment."

He smiled. It seems the young man was unconfident in his ability to rally those who are interested?

"I have a lot on my plate at the moment, I'm actively working towards rebuilding the faith and those interested have sought me out.

I don't need to steal your ideas, and I don't need to put my name on them.

I have my own ideas that people agree with and I don't need to force them to accepted them unlike yourself.

When the time finally comes and I and the group of like-minded individuals rebuild what was lost; I'll welcome you though the doors with open arms."

He'd continued to smile, canting his head a little.

"Until then I suggest you grow up a little, saying a person is stealing your ideas is childish when we should all share the same ideals.Clearly you don't share mine and it's fine people should look at faith differently, but I won't change my ideals for you."

This wasn't going as well as he expected, but he knew where to claim it from later.

"I'll get my hands on it one way or another, clearly you try to force people to do what you want. I'm sorry that doesn't work on me."

15:55] "Calling yourself an architect after laying a few stones is the same as calling yourself my equal after speaking with a few people."

The words spoken were absolutely laced with vitriol.

"Surely you can understand that, right..?" There's a slight pause, his shoulders rising and falling into a light shrug. "Then again, if you are unable to see that you are just mirroring what I was already doing. Then I am sure that will fly over your dense head as well."

Grinding his heel into the grass below, he'd chuckle. Slowly shaking his head to and fro, "Allow me to reiterate, actually. You will never see that staff in your life time."

"Not until you apologize for plagiarism."

"Only then will I consider it."

[16:03] "Well, you see I'm my mother child and clearly you're crossing a line that you really should. I'll be forced to take it from you because you're holding something that doesn't belong to you."

Waylan was slowly getting annoyed with him, but he contained himself for the time being.'

"Apologize? You must be mistaken I will not apologize to a person who's this dense. You don't have a right and whatever does happen with the Church won't involve you for the time being."

Waylan didn't need his approval, for what? He was just attempting to bully people into submission?

"I've already got permission to finish my work here, and I've taken the proper steps with people by myself that share the same ideals.

You'll watch us progress while you hold these nasty ideals in your heart, but I don't care what you do anymore. Clearly people prefer talking to me; I can see why you're insufferable."

[16:07] Tea says, "..."
[16:09] ".. So you are stealing my insults now too. Hm? 'Dense'. Come up with some new material."

Those red eyes of his practically rolled out of his head.

"Yes. You will apologize, for trying to steal my work. And worst of all? Never once speaking with me about it until you needed something from me." He'd huff,

"I am insufferable? Then you are just greedy." No, he's not greedy - He's just trying to get his mother's weapon. But Ant' didn't care, he was just so upset that someone would try to steal his glory. "The same goes to you. You will watch as I rebuild the church. Take your followers. And then use that staff as the doorstop to let even more people in."

"Good. Day."

He'd turn, obviously done with the conversation."

[16:15] Clearly he was mistaken and this is why he was in this position.

"No, you're truly mistaken; I've made more progress than you have, why? I've haven't been making demands, which is why my progress is flowing a lot smoother than yours has."

Waylan moves to step in front of him clearly fed up with this back and forth.

"I'll welcome you to the doors of the Church when I finally have it built. You're welcome to come to the temporary one I got permission from the High Lord to set up, oh did I steal that idea too?"

He wasn't letting him leave yet.

"Unless you're planning to run away; I'm not going to let you walk off with my mother's weapon. It's not going to be used properly in your hands and I can see that now."

[16:18] Parsley looks at the Joyau, clearly confused. Now she's under the impression that they're both wrong.

[16:19] "Sadly, you have made no progress. You sat around while I gained permission. I gathered people. And I laid the groundwork for you to try and waddle after me on."

At this point, Ant' was beyond upset.

"You will build nothing. Because you are nothing. And you will do nothing."

He'd chuckle, though, shoulders rising and falling into a light shrug.

"And what? Are you going to force me to magically conjure it up? Hm? Sorry, I do not have the ability to create weapons on the spot like you have the ability to make followers up on the spot."

"I do not have it with me. And I will never tell you where it is."

[16:27] "What people? What groundwork? Everything that's happened here has been because I've opened my mouth and progress was made. If you want to keep telling yourself that everything I've done was because of you it's laughable"

Waylan could see the issue with this one; he wasn't fit in Waylan's eyes, but what did it matter? Waylan wouldn't have to deal with him for now at least.

"I've already laid the groundwork for myself; I can see you have a jealous bone in your body. I don't know why, but it seems like you care more about the position of power than how the others truly feel about the faith.

You've shown me more than enough, I hope to see you walking into the doors of the church when it's finally built. I'm looking forward to welcoming you as an acolyte, but a lot of work needs to be done before then."

Waylan was finished this wasn't goinganywhere this person was truly not fit.

"Until then I still have work that needs to be done; I hope you get places, but saying people steal things from you isn't going to look good.

[16:37] "No, I've been told he's tried to force people to follow him or use things to persuade them into doing what he asks."

Waylan shook his head.

"That isn't how you gain support for something that involves everyone to be part of. The staff belonged to my mother and she was blessed by an angel.

She died in war before I was of age, so I thought most of her items to be lost. The staff is still intact and it's something I would hold dear to me.

It's sad I don't have it, but I won't change what I believe because a person holds something special to me. I'm not going to sell out what I believe in no matter how much I want to staff."

He'd look up with a smile on his face.

"My mother was an angel herself and I plan to do what she's done and even continue where we left off. I can't do that alone, so while me not having the staff pains me; I rather have the support of others that share the same ideals.

Things will only get better if we come together and allow those to come when they are ready.

It's not much now, but we're taking sets in the right direction, are you still willing to walk that path with me?"

[16:38] Tea stands behind Waylan and sighs.

A part of her wasn't surprised it'd come to this, disappointing as it was. She enjoyed seeing powerful weapons used in combat.

"Sorry. I did what I could."

[16:41] "I..." Erlen pursed his lips. The boy probably didn't grasp the entirety of the story, but the explanation did shed some light on what exactly that whole... debacle was.

He gave a faint nod, regardless. "The Faith has always stood for hope and... I think people need that, especially now."

Another nod. "Staff or not, I'm sure you'll do fine and- I'll help in whatever way I'm able." His expression brightened somewhat, and he sat straighter on the stool. "So- is there anything I can do to help you?"

16:47] Waylan smiled slightly.

"It isn't your fault, after I asked nicely what came after was just him showing his true colors. You've done enough at least I know it's around."

He'd turned his attention towards Erlen.

"The staff won't define what we do moving forward; I have something that helps me with my goal. It's a relic bearing all thirteen stars and I feel somewhat connected in a way.

For now I'd like to find more people who wish to talk about their experiences with faith and all come together with a common goal.

It will take sometime, but I'm looking forward to seeing more come around. Is there anything you'd like to ask me? We did get interrupted a while ago."
