A quick install guide for Call of Misery by Egle

What it is.
Misery 2.0 + Call of Chernobyl + quest mods

Call of Chernobyl is a freeroam megamod that combines every area from Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and call of Pripyat together, in Call of Pripyats wonderful* engine.  At its core it allows you to spawn as any faction, run around, do some fun quests, kill dudes and cheeki breeki your heart out.

Misery is a mod made my sadists for people that like having to maintain their weapons, actually worry about radiation and food, save and hoard ammo carefully and be very careful in combat.  Bandages are slow, healthkits are even slower, neither heal you instantly.  Getting shot kind of sucks a lot.  But it is quite Fun dying in new and interesting ways and succeeding in a difficult mod.  Think of it like *sigh* the dark souls of slav shootin.

Call of Misery combines the two in a way that doesn't make the fragile Xray engine implode on itself somehow, also includes a number of tweaks and improvements, a very nice quest mod and maybe some other things that i couldn't read because Cyka.

Step 1: Head here to download the Call of Chernobyl mod itself.
This is a standalone mod so you *should* be able to run it without Call of Pripyat, but I personally have never not had call of pripyat installed on my computer since it came out, so if it explodes, try installing that

Step 2: Download the 1.4.16 patch for CoC
The magic slavs that made CoM last made their download compatable with this patch and its been stable so far, which is more than I can say for most things in stalker.  This patch is archived and not on the regular CoC download page.

Step 3:  Download CoM from this link right here
I'll skip linking the russian site and machine translation part of this step and just go to the mega link where you can download the slav magic.

Step 4: install the english translation for CoM.
Straightforward, this is just a hand translation for almost everything in the game, on moddb.

Thats all the downloads you need.  Install is fairly simple.

Unpack your Call of chernobyl into a folder wherever you want to store it.
Unpack the 1.16 patch into that folder, overwrite everything it asks.
Unpack your Call of Misery into that same folder. the Gamedata folder will be in the same location as the executable
Unpack the translation last and again overwrite all the slav runes with nice english words.

Launch the game from Stalker-CoC and "Enjoy"!
