I am Lady Rayn of Nykotos, My Sister Angeline and Sir Wolf, have chosen Me to perform the Free Ceremony between them. I am asked to welcome all of you and to Thank You for Traveling the distances to stand witness as Wolf and Angeline exchange vows before you. As I have witnessed this relationship grow, I am honored to stand before both of them today and join in their celebration.

The Brides Price has been met. And the dowry been given to the Man seeking her companionship.... so it has been agreed upon and the obligations fulfilled. I have completed the documents and I have prepared them for you they will be signed at the end of both ceremonies.

It is often said that it is love that makes the world go round. However, without doubt, it is friendship which keeps our spinning existence on an even keel. ~Taking Angelines hand in her left hand and Wolfs in her right. she looks to them both and a tear come to her eye as she gathers a breath she speaks to both of them~ As My Sisters legal Guardian I am honored to give her hand to the man before Me. Wolf She has been My only family and I can only tell you how much she means to me as my Bestfriend and My Sister. I am excited to see what the future holds instore for you both and I would have wished for no other to take her hand than you. Angeline before you stands the man that has take a place in both of our hearts I will be honored to call him my Brother. And I know of no other that would have taken your heart completely.....[ Wolf Ang RP ]

I have asked Wolf to combine our Ceremonies and he agreed. ~she smiles once more under her veils~ This is used in his Ceremonies and I am honored to now do it for him,

~she walks to the podium and collects a cord no more than her arms length and returns to the couple.~

This cord represents the ties that bind one heart to the other......

~Starting with Wolf she begins the wrap the cord from his over his wrist, wrapping over his palm, she sees her Sisters hand secure in his and smiles, she continues wrapping around until she reaches her Sisters wrist. raising her head she looks to them both~


The two have now become one. One beat one beat and one soul to share and never a tought with out the other.

Bofore me are 2 bottles of sand. One from the shores of Temos the other from the shores Tarascon. On you journey you have decided to combine you Home Stone to one. ~she removes the cork from each bottle and hands one to eac Angeline the sands of Temos and to wolf the sands of Tarascon~

We are to combine each bottle into the bowl before you, in doing so you are combining your homes. Sands represent more than small granules they represent time, time to grow and time to build the foundation of a new home for both...and time til both have returned to The City of Dust.

Our Grandmother once wrote:...The Hour Glass....The Sands of time....sift slowly through....Life's hour glass...a future....That becomes a past...,Yesterday, Today was....Tomorrow....So, Tomorrow too....soon must pass....And, all our joy and....all our sorrow....Must remain forever....in the glass....Joy and laughter....grief and tears....Minutes, Seconds....Hours - Years.....Yesterday's memories....Tomorrow's plans....Sifting slowly,....falling softly....-- silent sand!

You have had the blessings of leaders, and of those within your home. I have spoken as your Sister. And now I shall give you the blessing from our Caste. We are all Scribes. We have pledged to the Codes as such. We live and write the laws of cities and of Gor. We write contracts for those needing them. And we even give blessings. My Blessing to the both of you is to hold firm in your Home Stone. Never let those take advantage of it or it's laws. And hold firm to the contracts today. Companionship is not entered into lightly among the free it is a contract binding til we return to The City of Dust. It is an Oath honor it and keep it to heart. I shall have you both repeat this Oath to one another: Please Repeat after me as you look to you future companion

In the few cases where the reader witnesses such rituals, the drinking of ka-la-na is always present.

May The Priest Kings pour out the abundance of your blessings upon this man and this woman. Defend them from every enemy. Lead them into all peace. Let their love for each other be a seal upon their hearts, a mantel about their shoulders, and a crown upon their foreheads. Bless them in their work and in their joys and in their sorrows.
