>The morning bell began to ring the moment Noelle sat down, with her letting out a small sigh of relief. Thankfully she had prepacked all of her stuff the night before, since she had a feeling she would've overslept due to how intense cross country practice was yesterday.
>She was always known to be quite prepared and organized by both her peers and parents.
>As the school announcements began, Noelle made sure to double check her satchel, smiling as she saw the small box filled with the Valentine's Day candies and heart shaped notes she had planned to pass out today.
>The announcements came to a close as Alphys begins to talk about what she had planned today for the class.
>Really just a typical morning with the usual assignments, but she then changed topics and stood in front of her desk to better address the class
>"But before we start with any of those things, let's talk about today, which is Valentine's Day! A-as you all should know… Eheh… so! Does anyone have any uhm… anything that they'd like to share with the class? Any gifts or such?"
>The whole class remained still, a few shifting a bit in their seats as their faces gazed downwards, some glancing at others, but rapidly turning away once the other noticed.
>"I do, Ms. Alphys!" Noelle piped up, pulling out the small box from her satchel and smiling.
>"O-oh, that's great, Noelle! Go ahead and pass them around, and if anyone else has gifts to share, please do so after her!"
>Noelle got up from her desk and uncovered the box, which was filled with small, neatly folded, organized heart shaped letters, with a candy taped to the front of it. All of the candies were addressed to a specific person in the class, along with their favorite candy
>She figured everyone would like and appreciate them more this way, and it seemed to be the case!
>Everyone was polite, giving a thank you to her, even Susie, even if she did seem a bit reluctant
>Eventually, she reached the final person in class, Kris, who she personally handed her gift to, smiling happily as Kris took the heart shaped letter, with a chocolate kiss attached to it.
>To her surprise, she heard him mutter out a soft 'thank you' as he gave her the faintest hint of a smile.
>She couldn't help but smile brighter at this and began walking back to her desk
>As Alphys asked the class once more if anyone else had anything to share, Noelle was preparing to put the small box back into her satchel, until she noticed that there was one note left inside.
>She was about to interrupt Alphys so she could hand out the final note, until upon closer inspection she noticed that it wasn't the same type of note as the others.
>It was slightly bigger, more detailed with what seemed to be drawings of roses and ribbons, as well as a candy cane taped to the back of it.
>She looked around to see if anyone was looking, and was relieved to see everybody was just focused on their candy.
>Except for Kris, who was… reading the note and… blushing?

>Noelle looked down at the note and finally put two and two together, her face burning as red as the roses drawn on the note.
>She carefully untaped the candy cane and opened the note…
>The rest of the class was a blur, but if her face was red before, it was definitely noticeable now…
>She couldn't help but read the note over and over. Did Kris really feel this way for her…?
>As the bell rang once more, she got up and glanced over at Kris, who seemed to be blushing as much as her.
>The rest of class walked out, with Noelle growing nervous as she approached Kris just outside of class, outside his locker.
>"H-hey there Kris…! I uhm… y… y-you were the one who… g-gave me this, right?" She asked shyly, still holding the note and candy cane in her hands as she fiddled a little with them.
>Kris took a moment to respond, before nodding softly.
>She then heard him speak softly. Almost too softly to be able to hear due to the amount of noise in the hallways.
>"I'm sorry if you didn't like it."
>She almost gasped, shaking her head, "N-no, no it's not that Kris! I actually thought it was… q-quite… amazing… I-I just didn't know you felt that way for me, haha!"
>She rubbed the back of her neck, smiling sheepishly as she her blush returned in full force. "I was actually… going to ask you if you'd like to… hang out with me at the library during lunch? If you'd like to, that is!"
>This time, she could clearly see the smile on Kris's face, followed by him nodding.
>Noelle smiled brightly, before the bell rang once more, causing her to gasp, "O-oh dear, we're gonna be late to our next class! I-I'll wait for you at the cafeteria during lunch, Kris! I'll see you then!
>With that, she quickly made her way to her next class, leaving Kris to finish getting his books from his locker.
>Kris looked down at the chocolate kiss he got along with the note, his smile growing a little more as he unwrapped it and put it in his mouth, taking his time to enjoy it as he casually made his way to his next class.
