  1. Arena:
  2. ======
  3. Whispy
  4. ======
  5. - Phase 1: At the first available opportunity, twirl twice to get into Phase 2
  6. - Phase 2: twirl twice before he sucks you in, mash out, twirl as needed to defeat
  7.
  8. ==========
  9. Mr. Dooter
  10. ==========
  11. - Phase 1: At the first available opportunity, start twirling, drift under him, and mash the hell out of the controller until you trigger Phase 2. Doesn't matter if you take damage as he transitions
  12. - Phase 2: Stand next to him (careful spacing) and twirl until he takes to the air. You should be able to get 4 hits in. Now stay in place and time the twirls precisely so that you hit him at least 2-3 times as he's coming down. Only 2 twirls should be needed though repeat if you need more
  13.
  14. ============
  15. Fatty Puffer
  16. ============
  17. - Phase 1: Stand right next to him and mash twirl at the first opportunity. Make sure to carefully drift backwards as you're doing so because he approaches you.
  18. - Phase 2: Stand next to him as he transitions, being careful not to be in the resulting hitbox. Once he stops flashing white, twirl him once, then drift forward and twirl him again. Either twirl or dash attack to i-frame through his roll, then get next to him ASAP and twirl twice more to win
  19.
  20. =======
  21. Goriath
  22. =======
  23. - Phase 1:
  24. * Stand next to him. As he begins pounding the ground, twirl once and drift far backwards so you don't get hit, then whack him with normal attacks until he's just about to touch the ground. Use Parasol Dive in midair to hit him and get next to him, then use Parasol twirl IMMEDIATELY after.
  25. * Goriath will then jump to the right wall. Use a midair dash attack to deal some chip, then as he climbs up the wall, run backwards, then turn around, full jump, and dash attack him again before he jumps to the left wall.
  26. * Wait at the right, then when he jumps back over to the right twirl him as needed to get him into Phase 2.
  27. - Phase 2:
  29. * Try to catch him with a midair normal attack as he jumps to the wall. If you can't that's okay; in either case, dash attack over to the opposite wall as he lands from his jumps, then twirl him until he goes down
  30.
  31. ============
  32. Grand Doomer
  33. ============
  34. - fuck this guy
  35. - Phase 1:
  36. * Start in the middle left. Dash attack towards him, turn around, whack him once with a midair normal, dash attack again as he changes sides, turn around, whack him with midair normals, repeat.
  37. * He will then start spazzing out and throwing large yellow spheres everywhere. Full hop and try to catch him in his movement with as many dash attacks as possible. Be careful not to get hit by the spheres.
  38. * He will then emerge out of a black hole and try to tackle you. twirl him as he approaches, making sure to start your twirl a little early so that you get in as many hits as possible.
  39. * If he's still not in Phase 2, continue dash attacking him as he changes sides on the field, and use normal attacks when he's stationary. Tedious, but this is how we have to deal with levitating bosses.
  40. - Phase 2:
  41. * You ideally want to get him into Phase 2 when he's near the ground so that you can twirl him for massive damage right at the beginning of the transition.
  42. * He will do one of two things first: stand in the middle and summon spheres to attack you (in which case, normal attack him then dash attack through him when the spheres come down), or stand off to the side and shoot spheres at you. The second pattern is better because he then swoops low to the ground, allowing you to finish him off right there, or at least get him low.
  43. * The good thing is that he performs the other possible pattern after the first one, which should give you ample time to defeat him.
  44.
  45. =============
  46. Metal General
  47. =============
  48. - also fuck this guy
  49. - Phase 1:
  50. * twirl him at the first possible opportunity. He then spends the first few seconds backing away from you like a punk. Chase him into the corner and twirl until he's in Phase 2.
  51. - Phase 2:
  52. * If he manages to fly off into the background, you can kiss your chances at a PB goodbye
  53. * Thus it is imperative to destroy his rocket before this can happen. You do this by whacking it with a midair normal and then HOLDING the Parasol as you come down, repeating once. You will get caught in the explosion and lose your ability, but this is still better than the alternative. Grab your ability again and aggressively chase him. Don't be afraid to ram into him directly (when he's NOT surrounded by electricity) to take damage on purpose so you can position yourself behind him to take him out.
  54.
  55. ======
  56. Landia
  57. ======
  58. - ALSO FUCK LANDIA
  59. - Phase 1:
  60. * Get behind Landia and short hop -> normal attack. Landia shoots fireballs. After a few, he will swoop low to the ground away from you. Chase him and twirl as necessary to get into Phase 2.
  61. - Phase 2:
  62. * Landia splits into four and randomly aligns himself along the stage. Depending on their position, you may or may not be able to get a lucky Circus Throw. Otherwise, catch them with dash attacks and hit the ones low to the ground with normal attacks.
  63. * The Landias will shoot fireballs for 4 rounds. After the fourth, position yourself close to the middle but not quite exactly in the middle, and then twirl the Landia head coming into that position. Be careful not to get shocked by its electric barrier.
  64. * If Landia is not down, follow the head closest to the ground and repeat.

  67. Mid-Bosses 1
  68. ============
  69. - Gigant Edge: twirl x3
  70. - King Doo: twirl x3
  71. - Bonkers: This is a bit trickier. twirl x2, then run into him to take damage on purpose. This should put you ever so slightly into the air. You then Parasol Dive -> twirl to finish him off. If you do not do this, Bonkers will do his spinning attack where he is completely invincible, wasting your time.
  72.
  73. ============
  74. Mid-Bosses 2
  75. ============
  76. - Kibble Blade: twirl x3
  77. - Moundo: twirl until he's around half health, then wait for him to begin an attack before twirling again, then attack as necessary to finish him off. If you do not do this, Moundo will begin a spinning attack where he is completely invincible, wasting your time. This is a lot trickier to control than Bonkers so don't worry if you don't get it.
  78. - Water Galboros: twirl x4, but the timing is very tight and you have to drift backwards because he approaches you. If he jumps, he should only have a sliver of health left, in which you use the appropriate attack to finish him off.
  79. - Dubior: Get behind him, hit him with an aerial normal attack twice, then twirl carefully as he rams himself into the wall to finish him off.
  80.
  81. ==============
  82. Sphere Doomers
  83. ==============
  84. - Spark: Get behind him, short hop normal attack, then mash twirl under him until he begins his next pattern. As he travels across the stage from right to left zapping in a fixed pattern, carefully walk backwards and hit him with normals. If he's getting too close, run ahead of him during a safe moment and dash attack backwards. You should finish him off before he goes into the background, ideally.
  85. - Normal + Fire: Get behind them, short hop normal attack on Fire, then mash twirls until Fire is defeated. Be careful not to get hit by the flames or allow Red to finish the flame tackle. After this, hit Normal once or twice to get him in range of a twirl (if you do not do this, he will take to the background early and waste your time) and then finish him off.
  86. - Ice: Get behind him, short hop normal attack, then mash twirl. Smack him with normals as he performs his ice blasts. Be careful not to get hit. If he ends up near the ground you can potentially twirl him to finish him off. If you get enough chip damage on him, you can even dash attack through him at the end to finish him off. Ideally, he should not take into the background.

  92.
  93. =========
  94. Magolor 1
  95. =========
  96. - Phase 1:
  97. * Get behind him, short hop normal attack, dash attack, normal attack him until the projectiles come down then dash attack to the left and then the right. As he teleports near the center right of the stage, normal attack him. As he teleports near the bottom center left of the stage, normal attack him. He will then teleport to the right side and try to shoot projectiles at you again. Dash attack behind him and hit him with normal attacks to get him into Phase 2.
  98. - Phase 2:
  99. * Walk/run from the black hole, then turn around. Whatever side you're on, face the opposite way, normal attack to cover him teleporting near you, then dash attack twice in the appropriate directions to catch up to him.
  100. * Normal attack him until he's about to fire the projectiles, then immediately switch over to twirls. He will swoop near the ground and charge a laser, and this is when you will finish him off.
  101.
  102. =========
  103. Magolor 2
  104. =========
  105. - Phase 1:
  106. * Jump up and normal attack. If he starts on the left, you will get an extra hit. Either way, dash attack twice in the appropriate directions to get behind him and hit him with normal attacks until he teleports away. MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU JUMP, YOU ARE NOT HITTING HIM PASSIVELY WITH THE PARASOL.
  107. * Dodge his spike attack. He will then spawn in the middle and summon projectiles from the edges at you. Normal attack right until the projectiles fire, then full hop dash attack to destroy the projectiles while getting damage on Magolor. Repeat until he is in Phase 2.
  108. - Phase 2:
  109. * Sneak in a hit as he appears in the middle. Normal attack him as much as you can. If his first sword starts from the left, dash attack away from him then dash attack back. Otherwise, normal attack until he goes back into the background. Dash attack towards the stars that he leaves behind and carefully time a Circus Throw to catch him coming in on the next swing.
  110. * He will then teleport to the middle and try summoning projectiles at you again. Deal with these the same way you deal with Phase 1. Pay attention to his teleporting and try to sneak in hits when possible.
  111. * After this, he can do one of two(?) things: he can summon meteors to try to crush you, OR he will teleport right to the middle of the stage to charge up his Flare Beam. The latter option is MUCH preferred as he doesn't go into the background to do this and if he does the latter, that is your opportunity to finish him off. Otherwise, if you don't finish him off, he will randomly use attacks from his arsenal until the end of the fight, so deal with those normally.
