Sora KO

Sora leaped overhead and drifted above the torrent of flame. He fell in slow motion with his pants ballooning around his knees (Samus wondered if that was his secret), brought his keyblade up, gave it a twirl, and slammed it down over Bowser’s head. Bowser’s jaw clamped shut and the fire was abruptly shut off.

Bowser was smart. Either that or he was hurt. Trying to stand his ground would, ironically, only succeed in forcing him back, giving Sora and Cloud, now that he wasn’t busy blocking, more room to work with. Instead, his head bounced on his neck like it was on a spring, and the moment it shot back up he swiped a claw to grab at Sora’s leg.

He skittered in the air, managed to just slip out of Bowser’s grasp. The second he did Bowser breathed fire above him.

Sora flattened out to avoid it, squirmed in the air just to get down a little faster than a feather. When he did, Bowser caught him. Wrapped a claw the size of his entire body around his calf and brought him to the ground.

He slammed the boy into the wall of the arena. He was still struggling, readying his keyblade. One punch from Bowser buried his head into the stone. There was a shock of blood behind him, not enough for the kid to be dead on the spot, but enough to start getting worried, and like that, he was out.
