DBL - Demigra Smothers Hurt Chronoa

[2019-08-17 22:32] [user]F u[/user]: It was several hours later for [s]the drugs to wear off[/s] Chronoa to wake from her dazzled dream. As the blurred screen from her lids slid off for her proper vision, she vaguely spies a verdant thing in front of her. A verdant lump with red top that gradually reveals itself to be-

Demigra.

"Boo."

[2019-08-17 22:38] [user]Shroom[/user]: There was a split moment of lofted slender brows as his blurred form came to view from sleepy eyes. A blink of surprise. Almost a smile, a tugging of the corners of her mouth.
[sub][i]THEN SHE REMEMBERED SHE WAS MAD AT HIM.[/i][/sub]

That tugging promptly turned into a straight-lipped [b]glower[/b] with Chronoa's palm pressing at Demigra's face as she slid to sit up. She yawned, other hand wavering at her mouth in attempt to mask it as boredom in her nonchalant coldness. "Hrmph.."
[2019-08-17 22:42] [user]F u[/user]: Nuh-huuuh she did-in't. Demigra sees that petite pinky hand coming at him and his larger surface area easily catches- holds it, and stares at her with that proud, pale appearance. "I apologize."
[2019-08-17 22:44] [user]Shroom[/user]: "For?" It was a prying questioning question in tone, but her gaze was locked upon her caught hand. She didn't go to pull away, yet.. nor press forward.
[2019-08-17 22:52] [user]F u[/user]: "For not telling you sooner that I was planning a massive party for you- fine." Demigra sits up, tugging her against him. Her lighter form makes a whispery thud against him. "I allowed Shroom a visit with Kayel."
[2019-08-17 23:00] [user]Shroom[/user]: That skeptical look was back at the moment the word 'party' slipped from his tongue. But before she could say anything, Chronoa found herself pressed up against him, petite form dwarfed by broad Demon God. That hint of smile wanted to return, before a most [i]mortified[/i] look came over her. "YOU [b]WHAT?![/b]"

Both hands went for his chest to pry and push herself back to give Demigra a proper scowl. "[b]H-how could you?![/b]" If she was mad before, she seemed livid now. That reddened face, the rage of shouting and how her hands curled to fists as if in threat to beat his chest. But even Demigra could at this point tell that [i]something[/i] was slightly.. off about this. There was a lack of sass, something [i]different[/i] to her tone of shouting despite the words.
[sub]But would he pick up on just what that was?...[/sub]
[2019-08-17 23:11] [user]F u[/user]: "Lie to you? Hide it from you?" Demigra remained sitting on that bed, his body left a deep curvature [s]because he was phat[/s], his eyes with those markings all across his chiseled cheeks lidded and [b]bowed[/b] their head, slightly.

"It wasn't because I did not trust you, Chronoa. It was for [i]them[/i] not for me. Kayel would have been uncomfortable if you had been uncomfortable with Shroom. Shroom also is convinced that you will flip him inwards. I do not dare to call it 'goodness', that the Shroom-boy has, but he certainly has an understanding with the girl that at least crosses paths with your bond with the child.

I believe that there is something... [b]seeding[/b] here, but Ms. Kai of Time, it's one of those things that even you had to leave time to tend to. I wanted to keep you and them in the required privacy."
[2019-08-17 23:20] [user]Shroom[/user]: "[i]You didn't trust me.[/i] Because they wouldn't have had to know. You could have told me. I would have [i]trusted you[/i] to handle it and stayed out. Instead, I trusted you with a total unknown... [i]but I still trusted you.[/i] Not time. [b]You.[/b] Even after everything....."

Chronoa turned away, eyes shutting to mask the glossed look that threatened to form. "[sub]and you [b]wouldn't[/b] trust me..[/sub]"

Her arms less so folded to her chest, moreso wrapping about herself for hands to clasp her elbows in a tight cradling. "If something had gone wrong, it could have been disastrous.. but I still would have trusted you. I know very well that you know when I see Fu. You have your ways. [i]I trust in that because I have trust in you.[/i] I have trust in you to have my back, if things go wrong, if I need you while you still let me do my own thing.. and you don't have that trust in me."

I thought that you knowing that there was a Demon God of Death near a little girl would [i]trigger[/i] a sharp emotional response OR you would have ended up walking towards them WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE - much like you have gone with [i]Fu[/i]; Yes, I do know. I do not trust him. I do not like him. But do not forget, just because I know and have known does not mean that [i]your[/i] intent to keep it a secret was not there.  -- I had the situation under control for most of it, but as I have stated, Chronoa," Demigra stood now. Not LOOMING over her, or aggressive in particular, but still holding his own, all the way to the peaks of his fire-like crown. "This was a moment that needed to be between them [i]alone[/i]. I did not trust you to leave them alone because you're so goody and there is no way that you wouldn't be reaching out your pinky claws towards them. Either way, it's [i]over[/i]. Shroom is gone. He might perhaps be gone for [i]good[/i], if our old eggrotting colleague decides that Shroom shown too much heart."

He's been friendly towards me, [i]helpful[/i] and calls me his friend. His intentions are not evil or just selfish, usually. Do not compare this to Fu. Fu has never once on his own accord come at me. I'm not in any way threatened by him to the point of needing to put my foot down and have extreme caution. I have spent a lot of time with him to know this. As for my intent at secrecy, I always suspect you know. You know most things. I don't hide or keep stuff from you. Not intentionally. I don't underestimate Robel's ability or yours. I try to share and show you, involve you. When something happens, I let you know. If I'm going somewhere, I may not directly state why but you know the where, and I let you know because I trust you." Chronoa kept her arms tight, still frumped and glowering at the floor.

"That's what [i]partners[/i] do."

She was quiet for a moment, brooding.

"Even if Shroom's somehow showing heart, his demise would be his own fault. And if so, I'll be glad he'll be off my back. ...But Kayel would be devastated. She really does think of him as family, especially after the incident with Goku."

Demigra was amazing at keeping his entire silhouette unchanged and his facial features untwisted [sub]he was quite frankly so carved and the lack of actual eyebrows made for a limited range in facial expression[/sub], but at the very least, the little Kai lady could feel that the great Demon Lord was less intense - less rigid -- as he usually was.

"Chronoa. You have made a remarkable amount of assumption in Fu, in my knowledge, in my knowing and in my preferences... but so have I. I have hurt you in the means that does not please me, A partnership needs not any of that. A partnership is as much forgiveness, [i]rekindling[/i], as it is trust. So I ask again: Will you forgive me?"

He's young and has potential.. potential to be neutral, to be good.. and to be terribly evil.. But so long as he has good ties, relationships and can find understanding and curiosity in that and what he feels from it, I have hope for him."

"Of course I'll forgive you, Demi.. I've forgiven you for much worse. It just doesn't lessen the sting of it any." Chronoa glanced back over her shoulder to him, a cant of her head making magenta locks bounce. She even tried to offer up a smile, but it was.. [i]weak[/i].
[00:35] *[user]F u[/user] [sub]Demigra tugs her in like c'mon now it's like their thing.[/sub] Thick arm a warm sinew to brace around her shoulders, her teeny tiny body against his, the rumble of his voice is felt through his mile of muscle. "Then tell me how to lessen the sting."

Chronoa's cheek pressed to his form, the reddened hue of her face centered to her cheeks at that rumbled voice. Her tone and voice softened, lighter body weight pressing to his, helping to try and hide that bit of nuzzle of her cheek against him. "I don't know. It takes time. Like building that trust in the first place. .....But this is a good start." After all, she wasn't going to kill that moment.

"I've been keeping myself busy from interfering. Staying distracted from the garden and Kayel with Trunks. A new Trunks. [i]My Trunks.[/i] He's been doing all kinds of repairs and upgrades. He wants to help smooth things with Shin after our latest uh.. [i]conversation.[/i] We make popcorn snacks. And his balls are great. They're just the right size and weight. We even go to West City and shop around."
