The Student Council Application

1) Please enter your clique or group's full name: The Student Council of Thirlcrest.

A summary: The Student Council has existed as long as Thirlcrest Academy has with the purpose of giving students a say in the rules. The Student Council initially started out noble, but when it gained more power, it became more corrupt, until eventually the Student Council is just a platform for the biggest cliques to get their way if they have enough money or candy/pop.

3) Explain in your own words a reason for them to be present in the game: The Student Council's role in game is to decide upon specific rules for Thirlcrest to follow. Currently, the Student Council works to make the punishments for certain rules more lenient on specific cliques, for example Prefects getting off much easier on assault compared to others, like HSBC Bank being able to get away with cartel money laundering by just having to pay five weeks profit ($1 billion). The Student Council also enjoys the benefits of the Social Club and Pit, and as a result, the Student Council can easily be attributed with the reason why Shrike still hasn't discovered The Pit.

4) What drives the group to do what they are doing around campus?: The Student Council is driven to their corruption because due to their positions they get more benefits, and therefore only really care about getting their hands on contraband. So, that is why the Student Council focuses more on bribery since it gives them enough money to stock up on candy and pop.

The Thirlcrest Times - Neutral. (The Thirlcrest Times and Student Council don’t typically cross each other’s paths unless it involves adding a newspaper rack somewhere in the school.)

Varsity Extracurricular - Neutral/Friendly. (The Student Council has been known to petition for a higher budget and focus into Varsity activities, and it pays off.)

Social Club - Friendly. (The Student Council are frequent clienteles of the Social Council, since the Student Council avoids going into town due to the Dropouts.)

The Goths - Neutral/Uneasy. (The Goths don’t appreciate the Student Council’s corruption but don’t care enough to do anything about it, similar to how the Student Council doesn’t care about Goths, not even recognizing them as a group.)

Shrike - Friendly. (The Student Council is happy to respect Shrike and occasionally do a favor or two.)

Prefects - Friendly. (The Prefects call upon the Student Council every now and then when they want a bigger ability to beat people up or be a little bit more corrupt. The Student Council admires Prefects as well, and thus leads to a friendly “business-customer” relationship.)

Honor Students - Friendly. (Similar to the Prefects relationship, except it focuses more on  giving the Honor Students a bigger pedestal over the other students.)

Greasers - Neutral. (The Student Council used to be heavy helpers with the Greasers and their auto repair shop, but when the Student Council had to choose between the Preppies or Greasers, the Student Council chose the Preppies.)

Bruisers & Peacekeepers - Neutral/Friendly. (Rules helping the Prefects can also help the Bruisers and Peacekeepers get things done.)

Nerds - Neutral/Uneasy. (The Student Council benefits people who don’t like Nerds.)

The Pit - Friendly. (The Student Council has been known to turn a blind eye to The Pit’s existence, and even get some supplies for it every now and then. The Student Council also sees the Pit as a viable place to consume their candy and pop.)

Dropouts -  Enemies. (The Student Council’s responsibility is to keep the Prefects from abuse and the students safe and happy, but the Student Council doesn’t quite do this, and as a result the Dropouts want to pummel the Student Council into the ground, though the Dropouts would still rather go after Prefects.)


6) OPTIONAL - (For student cliques) Do they wear anything that makes them stand out from your average student, if yes, what is it?: It will differ from the average student, and will most likely be a white sweater, though this is still up for debate as of writing.

8) BONUS - What makes the Student Council different from the Prefects?: The Prefects are the enforcers who make sure everyone follows the rules. The Student Council helps make the rules that get approved or declined by someone called a Faculty Consultant, though they don't really care that much and just trust that the Student Council makes good decisions, and approves laws just from reading the first page, and the Student Council knows of this.
