[21:04] {NARRATION} A snap of the Cyclo's big meaty finger, and a fire shoots out. Hovering above his table of maps and such!

He grins,

"Ya let me go and the maps are yours. Points towards a big fuckin' cache of treasure here in Dawn.

Don't let me go? Deadman's switch the ember falls and you'll never find it."
[21:04] Mackenzie is saved, and is left there blinking before realizing what the hell just happened.

"DAMNIT SEISHI!" She yelled rather loudly, putting her hands onto her hips as she stomped over to his body that was now on the floor.

She was gumbling angrily. Though she was doing it out of worry, and her facial expression would portray as such.

[21:08] Genrira crosses his hands thinking about one thing. That was Saki's speed! He knew how fast Saki was over all considering he constantly mention it. The question was could she get the maps before the ember falls or not. Should they take the risk and ask for more benefits or not?

That and he had to wonder what everyone else was thinking. He wasn't the one in charge after all. If it was him he'd take the risk and try to reap more benefits. The guy's fire magic was special so perhaps having him spill out the secrets in order to gain notes for Briar to have could be wise or foolish since he didn't know if the Cyclops had other tricks up his sleeve. One thing is for certain and that's the fact it wasn't his call. "What will you do now Mistletoe?"

[21:09] It hurt. It really hurt, but Seishi refrained from showing that is did. A hand gripped the side his upper body as that was where most of the pain came from. Those flames... They rivaled his own.

His vision was blurry despite the glasses that he wore. He wiped the blood that leaked from his mouth and splattered on the ground. He didn't realize until the very moment Mackenzie's screaming alerted him.

"Sorry, it was instinct. As I said, involuntarily I acted. I'll be fine.."

He aimed to get up off the ground, but it only hurt to move. That was shown on his face. "Okay, right here and here.

There was a sign of hesitation, malice, and interest in the boy's muted features. The smallest semblance of a smirk would occur, followed by a neutral down-trotted expression.

Mistletoe eases up for a minute. His actions show that he is no longer hostile, and is willing to take the offer for the maps. . .


. . . But afterwards, the dismissive look of the boy would show that he has little concern for what the other members of Briar might feel towards the Cyclops.

[21:13] Genrira waits for the maps to be retrieved however unlike Holz he wasn't so merciful. There was a chance of the man coming back to be a headache later on. That and he injured his comrade in battle. If someone actually went to get the maps there was only one thing he'd think.

"Why just take one thousand coins when we can take everything including his life."

Of course he had no plans on saying that out loud, however with that he starts gathering the power of the stars.

[21:15] Genrira says, "Should have done the back stabbing with me. Now we probably have to deal with both of them."

As he leaves, his ember fades. No longer are the maps in danger! Also he drops 2 pieces of Arcanium.

For whoever looks over them, they're pretty simple. The way to Dusk's old Vault is revealed!


How do you get there? Well, of course that's where the challenge comes in. Following the map you find a dusty ruined building. A massive trap-door lies in the center.


Now what did the map say about the path? Well, you had to go through a secret place.

The Menagerie of Sors Ultovex. Clearly labeled, the names a bit long, but what it contains is unknown!

At the end of his Zoo would be one of the many entrances to the vault, and possibly what the group was looking for.


Now. They must enter the Menagerie. Would it be as simple as opening the trapdoor?
[21:21] Holz Lendora asks, "Well, Mistle... What does it say?"
[21:22] Mistletoe says, ". . ."
[21:22] Mistletoe says, ".. 'Sors' .."
[21:23] Holz stuck out his hand to help the injured Seishi stand.

[21:29] Following the Map had brought them to that of the upper echelon of Dawn's regime. The personal laboratory of the Ultovex.

The assortments of wild specimens of animals would prove strange, Oh what ever would the Ultovex have in mind with these experiments?

It was unlike what he had expected, a keeper of exotics and a collector of sorts.

Of course, with the history given that of the 'City of the Dead', and that of the personal affairs of Sors, there would be more than meets the eye.



Exploring the laboratory, They would find what appears to be the answer that they're looking for ..

Idle chatter aside, Mistletoe would find himself most eager to explore. Pointing forward to that of the trap-door, he would demonstrate the immediate threat.

As for how to go about it, sometimes perhaps the most simplest answer would prove most effective.

The boy turned, giving one look to the Militia to draw attention, then proceeded to act.

Mistletoe reaches for anything that could resemble the hatch of a vault, and attempts to pry open the entrance. He begins slow, checking to see if such a door was even loose to begin with.

[21:39] {NARRATION} Now in the restricted area.

The hidden route to the Vault was through whatever this ominous sound place was. How terrible!

Finding the hatch was easy, and as he pulled it up a millennia of dust and cobwebs come falling out of... somewhere. The route had not seen use in all these years.


Looking down the hatch, there was a short set of stairs leading down to another door! This one, however, was a bit more complex than a wooden trapdoor.


A metal one, in fact. Anyone experienced with ores could tell it was made of Tyrium. Black, with a golden insignia. Those in Dusk before it fell could tell it was the mark of the Ajudicator, Sors Ultovex.

What lay on the door, instead of a knob or other way to open it, was a stone slab. On the slab? A piece of Parchment paper.
[21:43] Mackenzie would walk down the stairs first apparently, and her purple hues would look toward the door with said stone slab. A piece of paper on it, she would eye it curiously. Attempting to read anything that might have been on the paper...

Ya know, cause knowing her luck removing it would be instakill.

[21:44] Genrira didn't walk down the steps just yet. After all there was a chance that the place was booby trap to hell and back. He looks waiting for something to happen. After all he didn't want to leave anything up to blind luck.

[21:46] {NARRATION} With the Parchment opened, the first of its spells is released!

A purple and green rift portal manifests on the small piece of paper, and a rumbling is hard for a split second,

Before a pale, stickly, hand bursts through and tries to strike Mackenzie!

She's narrlow able to dodge it, and with that it retreats. The Rift Portal closes, and the second of spells triggers.


A recording, sound magic?

Someone sounding like Sors Ultovex speaks.

"Wha's Th' M'S'T Important thang ta me."


After that, silence.
