- [23:07] {NARRATION} The statue would listen carefully to them, and yet it would remain stoic like the rock it was. It would be clear it understood them yet,
- It would not respond, this was their trial.
- "Yes, that is what Asena is for. Prove yourselves today, it only gets harder from here."
- Steps would be taken as the trap door would open again, and the statue would begin to go back where it came from, yet... it would utter a single piece of advice.
- "Detach yourselves."
- And with those words the door to the next room would open.
- 23:26] {NARRATION} Aries' clones would move forward.
- Their hands would extend into the holes. It was cold, yet not like winter. What was inside was... nothing... a bottomless pit of nothingness like a blackhole. The clones would be yanked, and then they would disappear.
- Gone?
- And what about Romani you may ask?
- His hand would go forth into the hole and the same feeling would wash overhim. Nothingness, a pit, a dream, and then. The darkness would consume Romani.
- He was gone.
- Three holes remained.
- [23:52] {NARRATION} The darkness would consume the three other followers. The same bottomless pit would consume them and yet their eyes would open.
- They were alone, in the dark, nobody was around them. Nobody could be around them. It was like they were transported to another dimension and yet grounded in the real world.
- And then things would change...
- --------------------------------------------------------
- "YOU'RE THE TYRANT! FAKE STELLUS, BETRAYER OF THE ANGELS! MAY MALZTIEL JUDGE YOU FAIRLY!"
- Romani was hogtied. Osrona had never seen the siege. Myllenoris had been defeated. The Essharn Empire won the war. Nebula Lockwood was not a Lockwood, she was the King's faithful wife. Siegfried, Ilsa, Marie, they were all alive yet... in a mob.
- "YOU WERE MEANT TO BE A PILLAR, YOU'RE A NOBLE! YOU'RE PATHETIC!"
- "I THOUGHT YOU TOLD ME YOU WERE GOING TO TRY HARDER, NOW LOOK AT YOU."
- "MANI, YOU DIDN'T SAVE THOSE WE CAN, YOU DIDN'T KEEP FIGHTING!"
- It was his execution. Romani was a traitor.
- Del, the True Stellus, simply looked at Romani with disgust and then Alexander would come forth...
- "Romani orn Monticlare. You and your wife have been found guilty for treason. If Ophelia had not resisted she would be with you here, but fear not, you will be joining her in the stars soon." A pause.
- "What are your last words?"
- --------------------------------------------------------
- 00:01] It was darkness. Utterly, completely, consumed by it. A bottomless pit through which Romani fell and fell, and fell.
- And when he landed? He was hogtied. He was held in front of a mob, an angry mob and called towards, called a Tyrant, called a betrayer of the angels. And words were spoken towards him, spoken towards him by those that he called friend, those who were dead but alive here.
- An execution.
- Called an Orn, asked for his last words. Told that his wife was dead. For a moment, he almost believes it, for a moment there is that tremble of fear, the trembling that he might have been wrong.
- But only that moment.
- "No." Teeth grit, eyes closed. A false reality, because the memories of what was real still held in his mind. Eyes of blue and gold closed, inhaling deeply, then letting out that breath.
- "This is not real." The Stellus said, opening his eyes and glaring towards Alexander.
- "A man is not a traitor ifhe is abandoned by his people first. And the people here are dead. Marie would never say that, Ilsa would never say that, Siegfried would never say that."
- "You poisoned my wife, declared her a traitor. You say you killed her. You exiled my cousins, you called my cousins traitor, and you led your city to ruin. You are the reason that Marie is dead, you are the reason that Isla is dead, and you are the reason that Siegfried is dead. I will not be made to tremble in your falsehoods."
- "I will not follow those who I do not have faith in. You do not have the divine right."
- "I DO NOT BELIEVE IN YOU."
- Holy magic would ever cling to his body, that fist of bravery straining against the ropes. There was no more breaking down, no more shivering away at might be's and what ifs. His will no longer shook about what he was doing was wrong or if it was right.
- He believed in himself.

- [00:24] {NARRATION} "Such pitful last words." Alexander would state.
- "Look around you, are you mad as well? Osrona withheld the siege, Myllneoris has been crushed."
- His hand would point wave towards Osrona. It was just like it was before the siege. The Monticlare Manor was still intact.
- "Siegfried is alive, so is my sister and Ilsa so what are you on about?!" Alexander would state he was confused and yet his mind had been made.
- With a wave of his hand Del would present Ophelia's body.
- "I have not lied, your she took her own life to escape this fate."
- "A cowards way out."
- There was a moment of silence and Alexander would raise his sword.
- "You truely are a loser, may the stars forgive you."
- Romani's last moments were full of anger and spite. Madness even. He had let his emotions take over him. Asena only kept on watching him.
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Aries...
- They were already broken. Emotionless. Cold. Just like the white wolf before entering the temple. The trial for her would be over in an instant. She had already moved on...
- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Thalis was a true Asenite.
- Yet not as quickly as Aries the trial would end. If Asena was here she would approve of his actions as he was a devot follower of her teachings.
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Ophelia was correct.
- One cannot change the past. To indulnge on the feelings and wants of what one could've had they will only consume them and lead them to an emotional state like Romani.
- Her father laid dead and she could not change that.
- And so her trial would end
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
- For the three that passed the trial they would reappear back in the middle of the room. Romani, the first one to put his hand in the hole was still covered in darkness.
- [00:34] It is the body that makes Romani stare. The blue and gold eyes that fall upon the corpse that makes the breath slow inside of him. Osrona withheld the siege? Myllenoris crushed?
- Ophelia taking her own life to escape the fate?
- The Stellus would close his eyes, taking in a deep breath.
- "I do not believe in you."
- "I reject you."
- For a few moments as that sword raised overhead, the words were all that came forth. And yet in that moment? It is then that the single piece of advice filled his mind once more.
- 'Detach yourselves'.
- Again the breath inhales. Blue and gold close for a moment, mixing with his thoughts. Nothing here was real, he knew that within his heart. So while the light continued to struggle for a few moments longer? Like it had before, it would dim. The Guardian of Ios did not appear. The Light around him faded, and he lifted his head, if only to stare at Alexander.
- "Yes. I am a loser." Admitted the Stellus, looking towards the blade. But this time? Rather then struggle he mentally rejected the reality. He detached himself from that anger, that spite, calmed.
- 'Detach yourself'.
- 'Do not get carried away. It is fake. This is hard. But it is fake. Breathe.'
- The blue and gold once more open, and only stare towards the blade. His mind cleared, he only waited, breaths rising and falling in his chest.

- [00:39] {NARRATION} Romani had understood the lesson.
- While Asena taught that detaching one self from emotions was a key value she also knew that change takes time. Romani had passed her trial albeit by a very thin margin.
- Yet it was only going to get tougher from here.
- ------------------------------
- Romani would be cast in light.
- All four of them had returned.
- The door to the next room would open and sand would begin to pick up around them. The holes in the wall would only be replaced by a blade crashing down.
- If they didn't detach themselves from their emotions - their arm would've been detached that day.
- [00:44] He was never one to easily change. Change took time. When he was torn down by bandits, his friends had to build him back up. When he was left by the King, Regulus and Finley had to build him back up.
- And when the illusion had festered him his brain, it had taken time for that rejection to arrive. To separate from his emotion in that moment. But he did, barely managing to.
- He pulled away from that darkness, close, yet not swallowing him whole.
- And back into the light. The eyes fell upon that sword as it vanished, and he would be placed onto the ground. The sound of the blade crashing down beyond the wall. Another lesson, one that he had been struggling slightly with since Tiernay but he needed all the same.
- Detach. Let go.
- Standing from the ground, Romani would take a breath. His eyes looked towards Thalis, Aries, and Ophelia. For a moment, there is a brief scan for injuries, a chattering of his teeth. Then?
- "Let us be off."
- His fingers ever slightly trembled. Then he breathed out, letting the air travel along his body before turning. His eyes focused forwards. Detach.
- Do not be consumed by emotion.
