  1. Finster was originally a drow that lived normally within Drow society, she was to made into a priestess to Lolth. She originally came from a long ling of priestesses. However, in a scouting mission towards the outer fringes of the caves, a large forest was found, and she was sent to investigate it with a small party to see if it had resources to be exploited. The forest itself was lit from the inside by a strange form of mushroom and moss, though very faintly, but just enough to sustain the life of the forest itself. However, before long a younger drow, fresh meat from the ranks below was taken without a sound from behind. He was only shown to be missing before it was too late, as a group of giant spiders, lead by a lone drider, pinned the scouting party between a rock and a tree. Thinking it of Lolth's will Finster bowed herself to the spiders, but the rest attacked and were culled out. As the spiders drew upon her, Finster whispered prayers of forgiveness. It was an ancient site, clearly of the elves, with some roots of undercommon mixed in, of an ancient religion that was of this forest many moons ago. Meditating under this altar Finster took up the mantle of it's ways to find the true meaning of the Drow's way and abandoned the goddess that abandoned her.
  3. A year later, a strange blight of zombies, accursed by purple stone came creeping from the ancient caverns within the forest. It drew a pestilence within the very trees of the wood and forced the woman and wolf out to find aid from the outside world...
