Eliot Ness & Greta Garbo

Covet: Felix was outside on the phone talking to his manager at the studio. "I'll have to double check with my schedule for the label, but Sure, I can probably work that in." He said pacing about, ducking out of sight to take a hit off his vape pen, blowing it out quickly watching it disapate. Today's flavor: Starburst. "Thanks, I'll get back to you by the end of the week."
Alexithymiaa: -Steph had been out most of the day after staying over Cadence's last night, bringing the dogs back in the morning and changing her clothes before heading off to class. She turned her car into the driveway, and saw Felix standing on the front porch, turning into her spot and killing the engine. She grabbed her books and climbed out, not seeing him on the phone. "Why are you outside? It's freezing."-
Covet: Felix made sure his vape pen was tucked away safely inside the pocket of his padded vest. Saying goodbye to his boss as he heard Steph's question, he ended the call. "Because I'd just pulled up not to long ago then got a call from the studio. Some fashion shoot needs a replacement photographer because theirs has the flu."
Alexithymiaa: "A fashion shoot?" That sounds pretty cool." She walked up the front walk and stepped onto the porch, leaning in to give him a quick kiss hello. "When's that happening?"-
Covet: "The sixth of this month" He told her after their kiss. "I can't say I know much about fashion, but I know how to photograph it, so that's all that counts."Felix said with a shrug.
Covet: *next month
Alexithymiaa: "You're a great photographer so I highly doubt you'll let your lack of fashion sense stop you." She said with a laugh, moving past him to push the front door open and step inside to a flurry of barking. "I know I know, it's been hoursssssss an eternity, I missed you too." She said with a laugh, trying to push them back.-
Covet: Felix helped block the way of the mongrels so they couldn't escape as the two of them came in. "How was being out and about going for you today?"
Alexithymiaa: "It was fine. I think it helped that a good chunk of it was spent sitting on my butt in class. I'm pretty exhausted now though and I don't think the books did me any favors." She made her way to the island and dropped them onto the counter with a thud, sighing in relief to be rid of them.-
Covet: "You should see if they have any of those on an ebook set up. That would take a lot of the weight of your shoulders, litterally." He said to her, immediately going to the fridge because foods. "You want a snack at all?"
Alexithymiaa: -She shifted to sit on one of the stools, letting her arms rest in front of her on the counter. "But I get these used really cheap online. Books are too expensive otherwise." She paused to consider his words, moreso trying to think about what was in the fridge. "Are there anymore blueberries?"-
Covet: "They're typically pretty cheap doing them digitally, because you're saving on all the publishing and production cost that goes into it." He said, then stuck his head into the fridge to find her, her blueberries. He pulled out a package of turkey pepperoni, because he was craving protien.
Alexithymiaa: -Her lip curled as she watched him pull out food, kind of disgusted with his choices. "How are you eating again? And what you eat doesn't even mix well. I dont know how you don't make yourself sick."-
Covet: "The blueberries are for you, the turkey pepperoni is for me, and it's good, and has like way less fat than regular pepperoni." He said handing her her fruit. "I'm getting my cast off tomorrow, at one thirty in the afternoon." He told her, rather excitingly.
Alexithymiaa: "I know the blueberries are for me. I was talking about the candy." She said cause she'd smelled it on him when she kissed him and assumed he'd been eating it again and he would know what she was referencing. She reached out to take the container, pulling it open and selecting 'the perfect blueberry.' "I can go with you and hold your hand."-
Covet: "Oh, that was the starburts I ate on my way home from work." He snickered, then scoffed. " I don't need someone to hold my hand. I am a big boy. What's the worst that they do? Cut too deep and cut my arm? Thank god I'm at the hospital then right?" He said being a smart ass.
Alexithymiaa: -She'd popped the blueberry into her mouth and then frowned at him because she hadn't thought of that and had instantly become a little nervous for him. "That doesnt actually happen, does it?"-
Covet: "I dunno, Probably? But their doctors and it's not like a broken arm is anything uncommon. So it's probably rare." He said eating a pepperoni straight from the package.
Alexithymiaa: "Well... I'm going with you anyway. Just in case." She said, trying to sound more confident than she felt. She'd had plenty of casts, but never actually thought about them cutting her limbs when removing the cast. "Does that mean you're jumping right into basketball?"-
Covet: "Maybe, We'll see what the doctor says. I'm definitely feeling the itch to shoot some hoops bad." He said to her.
Alexithymiaa: "Well you might be able to talk to your physical therapist about incorporating it into your home activity assignments." She paused, picking up another blueberry. "Have you heard from the police at all?"-
Covet: "Nothing yet. But they're waiting on stuff from the school. Apparenlty they were laid up over the holidays." He said rolling his eyes.
Alexithymiaa: "Surprise surprise..." She mumbled with a matching eye roll, sifting through the blueberries to find one she wanted to eat. Popping it into her mouth, her brain wandered off for a moment before her attention snapped back to reality. "Where would we put a nursery?"-
Covet: "Um, forfiet the guest room?" Felix said not really thinking about the answer.
Alexithymiaa: "But then Mom wouldn't have any place to sleep when she comes to visit." She said, nudging her glasses up her nose.-
Covet: "Like that would stop her from visiting, especially if there was a grandchild to come see." Felix said rolling his eyes.
Alexithymiaa: "I didn't say it would stop her, I just mean she won't be as comfortable having her own space and sleeping in a real bed." She paused, remembering her conversation with Cadence last night. "I'm getting ahead of myself. Plan wedding first."-
CovetCovet : Felix gave a shrug, "If she wants something more comfortable, we can get her a hotel or something. We'll figure it out." He said eating more pepperonis, "Yes, that first."
Alexithymiaa: "She's not staying in a hotel." She wrote off quickly, shaking her head. "We kind of need to look at venues so we can set a date since most other plans sort of depend on setting a date..."-
Covet: "Okay, so... where are we going to look?" He asked her, leaning against the island counter.
Alexithymiaa: "Well I don't know... I guess it depends what we're looking for." She picked up a blueberry, turning it over between her fingers. "What are we looking for?"-
Covet: "Something small, intimate?" He asked her back, looking at her inspecting her fruit.
Alexithymiaa: "Right, but there are plenty of places that are small an intimate with wildly different themes to them. I was sort of thinking about what I wanted to wear, and I'm pretty sure I want to go vintagy... so maybe we could find something that complements that?"-
Covet: "I like that idea so long as I don't have to wear a suit jacket and can get away with just suspenders." Felix said.
Alexithymiaa: "You don't have to wear anything you don't want to wear. This is our wedding, not my wedding. 50/50 decisions here and I want you to have everything you want too." She smiled, slipping off the stool and closing the blueberry container, walking it back to set inside the fridge.-
Covet: "Okay good. Suspenders, with the leather back piece, dress pants, and some nice leather Brogues maybe." He said thinking for a moment, then yawned. " I don't know about you but I'm ready to go lay down. Can we keep wedding hypothesizing in bed?"
Alexithymiaa: "How very Eliot Ness and Greta Garbo of us." she said with a smile, nodding her head. "Yes, let's move this discussion to someplace I can pass out." She gave him a kiss on the cheek and then turned to disappear into the bedroom to get ready for bed.-
