  3. <transientConstant> Hm, Alia said she just saw... things. I'm not sure if it could be more of those creatures -- or that asshole snake. I make sure my guitar's out and over my shoulder before I try to peek inside.

  7. <WHATIS[DM]> It's pretty damn dark in there, but you're pretty sure there's nothing hiding just inside the cave. Whatever's inside must be further inward, if there's anything at all.
  8. <transientConstant> I don't really want to head inside. I've played enough video games in my time to know it's probably a trap. But there's also probably treasure -- or at least information. Ruins are always items of hot shit when it comes to cool things. <transientConstant> Or it could be like Minecraft where I fall into lava.
  9. <transientConstant> Whatever. Nothing for it. I keep my guitar held in both hands in front of me and cautiously begin inward.
  10. <WHATIS[DM]> You can barely see the walls. Shame you didn't bring a lighter or something.
  11. <WHATIS[DM]> There's a faint red light glowing deeper in the tunnel however. Good glow or bad glow, you don't know.
  12. <transientConstant> A question comes to mind.. do I call out, and try to get myself in the best position to confront whatever it could be -- if unfriendly? Or do I try to get the drop on it?

  22. <WHATIS[DM]> Their fur looks steely and somehow, unnerving. Not to mention that their claws don't appear to be attached to their bodies anymore.
  23. <WHATIS[DM]> You can count 3 of them standing in the open, and 2 laying on the ground, barely moving.
  24. <transientConstant> I can't really say I'm pleased if we've already graduated to nightmare-level monsters. But I'm also in a dark ass ruin. Can I make out where the light was coming from?
  25. <WHATIS[DM]> A fire sits in the center of the room, which the imps stare into with the eyes they don't have.

  27. <transientConstant> Ok that explains the light. Five, though. This could be more challenging. Which ones are closes to me? The standing ones or the ones lying down?
  28. <WHATIS[DM]> The is one standing with his back to you, just a few feet in front. Those lying down are at the edges of the room, and are the furthest away from you.
  29. <transientConstant> I've gotten this close. I suppose I can say hello with a guitar to the back of the head. I stand, sloooowly. And try to get the drop on them.

  181. <transientConstant> I take a couple tentative steps backwards, making sure they don't claw after me before I turn and sprint for the exit as much as I can as injured as I feel.
  182. <WHATIS[DM]> The imps don't pursue you. They didn't expect you to take down 3 of them, and despite your injuries, aren't very inclined to risking much else.
  183. <WHATIS[DM]> Successfully escaped the grotto.
  184. <WHATIS[DM]> Gained 30 XP, leveling you to the 3rd Echeladder Rung.
  185. <WHATIS[DM]> You think you'll need some more equipment. Maybe you should ask Televisprite for advice...
