  7. RP: The planet was no longer dying, now it was dead. Many a generation ago, we thrived, but now, only handfuls of us remain. After the wildlife were hunted to extinction, we turned to cannibalism, but even that has thinned our numbers further. We had nothing left here, so we turned to the stars. Our entire race fit into a single ship, and this was to be the last time any of us would see each other for maybe the rest of our lives. Our plan was to find a world, and leave a pair on each, to ensure at least SOME of us survive. My only hope is that I be one of them. At first, we were hesitant to spread this way. The last of us were all that were left, and despite the obviously dire circumstances, some of us were even friends. This way, at least, if we couldn't survive on the worlds we chose, at least we wouldn't be alone. Some of us decided to use our vast powers to conquer the world they chose, others remained hidden, some even found acceptance in the crowds of the natives. It was only after 10 years of travel that I was the last to remain. I had elected to be the last, to be the Pilot, and stay alone. Small price to pay to keep my kind in the cosmos. But now that I am alone, I finally see the gravity of what I chose. It is no small pain, for now I have no purpose.

  10. Not having any real knowledge of what planets were habitable or even what kinds of alien life their were, Eis went back to his dead world, landing the Genesis outside his old home. He found his old library, and he sat down, poring over these books to make sure he could pass on the knowledge to anyone he could. After 3 weeks of memorization and meditation, he finally set out into the stars again. Whether or not he came as friend or foe would depend on the natives, but the first planet he went to was unfortunately a violent and xenophobic world. They immediately panicked at the sight of him, and began throwing tools, discharging rudimentary weapons, some even trying to fistfight him. "This is going nowhere," he thought to himself, and as he forced his aura outward, every being within 5 feet of him was vaporized, and those up to 15 feet back were blown onto their backs. Eis flew into the air and glanced sidelong at the group before him. The people would tell of him, and would inhibit a silent return here if he wanted, so instead of allowing that to happen, he amassed a concentrated orb of energy, and without a smile or a hint of remorse, he incinerated the crowd, scorching the planet but leaving the rest of it intact. Returning to the stars, he typed across the navigation system for the next nearby world. Maybe they would listen to him, or at least not fight first.
