In Regards To Ban

I'd like to try to extend an olive branch and see if we can work past our differences. If you decide to keep the ban in place I will respect that, but I really do ask that you hear me out.

I'll start out by focusing specifically on tonight and then expand from there.

When I made my initial comment asking about your behavior during the void prison, I acknowledge it was very abrasive. I could have either not said it at all or done a lot of things to say it in a way that was less confrontational, so that's on me.

Then there was the Jaina. Clearly the Jaina was a problematic teammate and said a lot of awful things, so I want to emphasize that I am by no means defending her. It was especially awful of her to make her 'kill yourself' comment to you after the game. I regret how I came off because I can clearly understand how my message in that situation felt really bad for you, given what she had just done. There are two reasons why, from my viewpoint, you have to be held to a lot higher standard. First off, you are streaming to hundreds of people, all of whom your actions will influence in some manner. Second, your stated intention is to have a friendly environment where you can teach and everyone can enjoy themselves, and that a lot of those viewers deeply respect your opinions and look up to you. I hope you agree with me about why you should be held to a high standard. Can you empathise in any way my stance that it's not good example to spend so much time complaining on voice like that and typing to a teammate like that during the game? After the game I think you actually started out pretty commendable. But when the person said that they viewed it as harrassment then I think again that it's a bad example for you to send to your viewers to keep typing to them.

Next I'd like to focus on the friction between ourselves. First off, I'd like to acknowledge that I've crossed a line with you too many times, and that I accept that your animosity towards me has been earned and that I'm thankful that you've up til now given me a lot of leeway. I've said some personally unkind things to you as well as been MORE blunt and combatitive than was called for on multiple occasions. With that beind said, I'm hoping that you'll understand that it's also contributing to the situation when you accuse me of arguing for the sake of arguing. From my perspective, the vast majority of times I disagree with you or someone in your chat it's because I honestly disagree with them and I try to support my decision as best as I am able to as much of the time as I can. It bothers me when you present me as trying to argue just because I like arguing. I am too much of a nitpicker, among other things, and I do enjoy debate but not for the sake of debate itself. I like for differing perspectives to be offered and compared and analyzed.

Tonight, for instance, I heard a gentleman that you wre on voicechat with say that X talent was the meta, and since Zeratul is one of my most played heroes (Only him and Nova are level 10 for me) and because I have extensively looked up guides for him, asked various streamers, looked him up on websites such as heroesfire and hotslog statistics, etc. I knew that it wasn't the case. I realize I may have came off as just an argumentative jerk for me but I stress to you that I was just trying to be honest and prevent misinformation about a hero that I'm very enthusiastic about. It also bothered me a great deal the other night when you made that 'joke' about how you would only consider swapping doc, with the other rank 1, onto my team if I was a sub. :(

So, by admitting my own fault and letting you know some of what bothers me, I was hoping we could try to start a blank page and work from there. I'll try very hard to be less combative and not antagonize you and I would hope that you could, in exchange, start over with me as well and we'll both try to be a lot more friendly with each other.

In spite of our disagreements I think you may have noticed how many times in chat I'll provide prompt ant detailed responses to game questions that get asked in there as well as other information such as "what is the bubble" which I've quickly explained to numerous people. I'm extremely opinionated and very blunt but I try very hard to be friendly/helpful with info when the situation allows.

You annoy me so damn much, and unfortunately I'm sure I do the same to you. But even through all of that, there's a lot about you that I can respect. You're a nice guy, you genuinely care about contributing towards a positive community, and you want to help others by teaching them and sharing game knowledge + teaching. Also I like hearing some casting! :)
