BASIC RANGER EARLY GAME LEVELLING / RACING GUIDE
NOTE: This is for the fastest non-sunder way of levelling a ranger (Shrapnel Shot -> Phys RoA (@12) -> Elemental Hit (@~30)

@start (take shrapnel)
- check ms boots. iron ring (3 wisdoms)

@hailrake (take onslaught)
- rustic sash, chance2bleed (3 wisdoms)

@prison (take added cold, siege ballista)
- check ms boots. large life, 2nd iron ring (if needed), mirage, bleed (if not gotten already). short bow if you didn't get one before now. check for quiver (4 wisdoms minimum for flask and mirage, sometimes up to 10 if rng is bad)

@brutus (take blink arrow)
- check ms boots. check quiver again if you don't have one.

@caverns (take RoA)
- amber amulet, maim. (2 xmute). xmute your qs before buying these. if only 1 xmute, buy maim then get amber from a2 sometime when in town (saves a load screen). also grab a decoy totem if planning on going past a3 and ele hit if going past a5. (2 wisdom, can be bought later). try to find a long bow for mervail (it costs a transmute so don't buy from vendor)

- rustic recipe a composite bow if you do not have a good weapon. must have a quiver by now.

@fidelitas/spider (take HoA, WED. take faster instead of WED if not planning on going ele hit)
- blood rage, HoI, HoT (3 alts, make you get int for HoT via Primal Spirit / Agate Amulet eventually)

- recipe a bone bow by the time to replace your composite. get a ruby right before crema if you have the wisdoms vendor your pierce gem and one of your iron rings to get a topaz for sewers. good idea to get 2nd topaz ring if you have the wisdoms to spare

@sceptre of god
- have at least 1 sapphire ring (preferably 2) for sceptre progression. ruby + topaz for pre-dominus trios. switch to sapphire + topaz for dominus or dual topaz depending on preference.

- whether or not you do library depends if you get an RRBG or not. If you get RRGG then just put maim+bleed in links. otherwise conc is arguably the best 4th link for RoA

- can equip broadhead quiver. try to hit 28 right as you get to dominus for this. roa-mirage-bleed, ballista-maim-addedcold are ideal double 3L's for dominus. start looking for royal bows if you're going ele hit, %+1 gems, wed, and attack speed are best rolls. flat ele's are 2nd best

- do a few extra blood aqueduct runs for levels and possible humility drops then do normal lab before continuing with progression. take tailwind. do the a1 passive quests if you skipped them while levelling by this point at latest

@kitava
- 1500 is "safe" hp on kitava, a bit under is fine. decoy totem makes fight relatively easy. for races kitava is usually done just under 1k hp but this means never getting hit.

A6
- transition to elehit-gmp-wed-mirage with your royal bow. remove points from aspect of the lynx + weapon artistry and the points leading up to them and move them to primeval force. grab slower proj from lilly, also grab a purity of ele if your resists suck too much. set up cwdt+immortal as well.

-if continuing to level phys then keep reciping top phys bows (decurve -> decimation -> citadel)

Notes:
A1
Pick up and vendor EVERYTHING up through hailrake to get the wisdoms needed. Pick up ALL blues/rares through at least mervail, I usually pick up all blues all the way through vaal. Starting at mervail (sometimes earlier if you were lucky with xmute drops), ID rares for alt shards.

Shrapnel+Onslaught start. Swap in Mirage Archer for bosses. GGG = Added Cold, GGR = Chance to Bleed until you can get Added Fire.
If super early GGG => use Pierce gem (don't vendor this at hailrake for this reason) it will significantly speed up ledge

Siege Ballista + Chance to Bleed for Brutus/Mervail, replace with Maim later.
