FOR THOSE UNABLE TO PROCEED AFTER 2nd TUTORIAL MAP:

Main Problem/Solution to be able to continue after 2nd tutorial map:
- only install and use v1.0, meaning do not install/update any patches.

Step by step process with save file. (Note: I am using Win7 32bit)

1. Do a clean install of Heroes VI.
This means if you have installed previously, uninstall it. Choose to remove profile and save files.
2. After installation, DO NOT RUN THE GAME YET.
Go to your install directory, default is [C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Might & Magic Heroes VI].
3. Right click this file, [Might & Magic Heroes VI.exe], select SEND TO-> Desktop (Create Shortcut)
4. On your desktop, there should be a shortcut created for the game named [Might & Magic Heroes VI.exe - Shortcut]
5. Right-click that shortcut, choose Properties. A Properties dialog should display.
6. On the TARGET textbox, append the word "/offline" without quotes. If using default installation settings, it should be like this.

7. Download the save file from this link.

NOTE: For the next steps, replace [username] with your username (without the square brackets)!
8. Go to [C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Might & Magic Heroes VI\[username]]
So for example your username is "john", that should be:

9. If a "Save" folder does not exist (it shouldn't if you did a perfect uninstall), create a folder named "Save"
10. Place the downloaded save file into that location.
11. Run the game (using the desktop shortcut you made!)
12. Load the save file.. if you can't find it, you did something wrong.
13. Just finish 1 more battle with Gerhart... if you lose, I doubt you will be able to finish the MAIN CAMPAIGN so please do not complain about my army.
14. After the battle, go to CAMPAIGN from the MAIN MENU and the MAIN CAMPAIGNS should be unlocked from the TOP BAR!!!!
15. Congrats!

Other notes:
If you want to update to a higher version, 1.1 or 1.1.1 to fix the blinking cursor, DO SO after finishing/unlocking the MAIN CAMPAIGNS. It seems the PATCH introduced a PROTECTION MECHANISM so that players won't be able to continue to the MAIN CAMPAIGNS.
