Baloo the Bear from the Jungle Book is cast as a 1930's Pacific Islands bush pilot.
This casts key characters from the Jungle Book into a 1930's pacific setting where Baloo is a bush pilot who finds himself as part of a struggling courier company.
This show is definitely a flashback to my childhood days of watching the Disney Afternoon after school. Though I haven&#39;t gotten to see this show much because it airs after Ducktales and Chip N&#39;Dale, which by that time I had to switch off the TV and go do homework!<br/><br/>But, on the days I&#39;m lucky enough to catch it, I remember it for being a daring and adventurous show with characters spun off from The Jungle Book, including Baloo the Bear. <br/><br/>It&#39;s a pretty entertaining cartoon with its adventures and family-friendly fun. <br/><br/>Grade B
When I was younger I used to get up quite early to watch this on a Saturday morning. I can&#39;t remember seeing that many episodes, but I do remember the story and the quite good theme tune. Tale Spin I think was probably made soon after the release of The Jungle Book a few years ago. They thought it did quite well that they decided to make Baloo the Bear the star of his own show. They put him in clothes and had him flying a plane rescuing people. He was also accompanied by his friend (King) Louie and the nasty Shere Khan as the villain. The only person they should have had that they didn&#39;t was Baghera. But it was quite an alright show, the kids will obviously like it if they liked The Jungle Book. Quite good!
