[Paradise] - The Signless Sectoral

[Ancestral History]
   The Signless Sectoral (also known as The Sufferer’s Disciples) was a Hemoequality movement of Ancient Alternia spearheaded by The Signless, later to be known as The Sufferer postmortem, that sought to unite Trollkind as Equals and end the oppression of the Highblooded Few over the Lowblooded Many. His words resonated well with the oppressed Lowbloods whos every day was wracked with the very real possibility of Death or Enslavement, and by the peak of The Signless’ preachings he had amassed over 4,000 followers.

At the height of his popularity, preaching a world without Violence and a world with equality, The Signless and his followers launched a large-scale rebellion against The Imperialist Highbloods known as ‘The Secular Revolt’. During this time, The Imperial Fleet managed to whittle down and narrow out the Lowblooded forces until too few remained to protect The Signless and he was taken into custody by Her Imperious Condescension herself.

He was made an example of, publically, and tortured until his dying breath by The Condesce as an example of what was to come of his followers. In his final moments, his calm and collected demeanor by which all of his Followers knew him was shattered and a firey, explosive rage bubbled out of him in what would come to be known as The Vast Expletive, his final sermon, with which he denounced the Evils of Trollkind as a whole, detailing that no Caste was free of their privilege over others, that the species as a whole was doomed to consume itself in its circle of violence. The majority of this final sermon was lost to time, heard only by The Condesce and never recorded.

Following his Death, he was redubbed The Sufferer by his remaining followers and his Worship was driven underground by Legality where it would simmer and eventually, after thousands of Sweeps, die out almost completely.

[The Signless Sectoral and the Demilitarization of Trolls]
   While the Trollian Wars were in full-swing, The Crusade was searching for ways to demoralize Trolls against fighting and obeying The Empire. While they hard marked success in demoralizing Highbloods through intimidation tactics and Capture, they lacked the ability to affect Trolls on a larger scale.

This lead to a campaign of Sleuthing and Investigative work on Trollian History, and through connections that were never traced back to the conspiratraitor in question, Ancestral Journals were recovered and subsequently translated from Alternian to English. The Signless and his Secular Revolt were detailed in these Journals, which had belonged to ‘The Disciple’, almost in their entirety from start to postmortem worship of The Sufferer.

Utilizing their infiltration tactics of converting captured trolls into The Signless Sectoral and releasing them back into the fringe colonies they came from, the seeds of rebellion had been planted. The Signless Sectoral caught fire only years after the first of its inductees was released, and this flame would slowly begin to eat away at the Trolls whose lives were being consumed by the 257 Year long war.

[Modern Worship]
   The demilitarization of Trolls and the rallying of Lowbloods for non-violence and non-compliance was considered wildly successful, and even in the Current Day after the end of the Trollian War, worship of The Signless still flourishes under ‘The Sectoral Church’.

The reason for The Condesce’s inaction towards these Blatantly Hemorebellious Worshippers is unknown, and for the most part, The Signless Sectoral is considered a ‘Public Secret’. While it is illegal to preach The Signless' Teachings and to disobey Hemoloyalist Values on a public stand, it does not seem to be illegal to worship in private spaces or to wear the 'Suffer's Shackles' as a necklace to show ones support of worship.

As of the last 40 years, not a single Troll has been publicly executed for worshiping The Signless as their Messiah.
