vulture but without typos

Vulture looks like he blew in out of a local Dumpster. That's the first immediately noticable thing about them- they're dirty, face and forearms smeared with dust and dirt and silt to the point that it looks more like a natural patterning to their skin, rather than just a random mess. If you had to guess, their skin's a middle tone under all the grime. Despite all the muck, though, they're not at all smelly- and in fact, the only thing they smell of is the quiet grit of damp earth after rain. It's quite pleasant, actually.



They're not too physically imposing, clocking in at a rather average height and a modestly athletic build. Their features aren't even particularly birdlike, despite their name- they have a slightly rounded face, a flat nose, and there's nary a cheekbone in sight on their face. They typically wear a set of dark black rags over their mouth, tied tightly in the back with a string of beads and twine so that it forms a proper mask. When not covered, a crescent shaped scar is visible over the left half of their mouth.

Their hair is a bright white, and immaculately feathered out into haphazard spikes- all pointing behind them, but at different, unkempt angles. At the tips, their hair appears to be smudged with some sort of clay or dust, lending it a darker red coloration. Both sides of their head are shaved down to the skin, with the only hair on their head being done up in a fauxhawk, more or less. From the shoulders down, they're covered in a cloak made of silky white feathers, that's surprisingly well maintained and cleaned despite the general dirtiness the rest of their body carries. The feathers are similarly smeared through with red, and appear to twitch and flitter in some sort of vague synchronization with Vulture's general speech and mood.

Their left eye is a milky white, and their right eye is a striking topaz color. They seem loathe to open the left eye, and keep it shut most of the time.

Under their cloak, they wear what appears to be a rather tattered set of gray robes, festooned with all sorts of leather pouches and bags and pockets just about everywhere. They wear light chainmail on each forearm, with a long strip of cloth wound tightly between each knuckle holding them on. Their pants are quite baggy, appearing to only be attached to their body at the hips and ankles. The bottoms of the legs are quite a lot wider than the tops, but Vulture manages to move around without swishing, swooshing, or making any noise at all, actually.

Around their waist is a long, red braided cloth, that trails a good few feet off of the body when at rest.

On their feet, they appear to be wearing a set of tabi.
