- Hello there! It's so very nice to meet you! Welcome to the world of Floofmon!
- My name is Generic Tree. However, everybody just calls me the Floofmon Professor.
- This world is widely inhabited by creatures known as Floofmon.
- We humans live alongside Floofmon as friends.
- At times we play together, and at other times we work together.
- Some people use their Floofmon to battle and develop closer bonds with them.
- Really close bonds, if you know what I mean. *nudge nudge*
- What do I do? I conduct "research" so that we may learn more about Floofmon.
- Research, yes, all completely professional research.
- Now, why do't you tell me a little bit about yourself? Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?
- Or are you really a Floofmon stuck in human form,
- desperate to be yourself and be treated like the Floofmon you are?
- Sign-ups Sunday-Tuesday.
- Event starts around Turn 6400, Monday March 25.
- Open to all players who are animate at that time.
- Phase one is Monday-Tuesday, phase two is Wednesday-Thursday.
- Two potential roles to sign up for. You can be a Trainer, or a Floofmon.
- Message Judith Neff to sign up.
- PHASE ONE: Trainers must capture wild Floofmon to become their partners.
- Item and pet spells, you capture a Floofmon by inanimating them.
- Once captured the Floofmon is now on your team for the rest of the event.
- Floofmon should make a good faith effort to be online as much as possible until they are captured.
- You can run, or slightly poke to slap away Floofballs, but no actually fighting against Trainers.
- No pre-selecting the Trainer you want to capture you and only letting them capture you.
- Give every Trainer a fair chance. You do't have to make it easy on them, but let it be fair.
- Trainers will be limited to capturing a certain number of Floofmon for their team,
- based on how many Floofmon and Trainers sign up.
- Floofmon should begin reverting to human as soon as they are captured.
- You do't want to be in item or pet form longer than and miss Phase Two.
- IN BETWEEN: Training montage!
- Trainers need to train their Floofmon to be the very best!
- Help your Floofmon to level up, equip them, teach them strategy,
- and develop the Power of Friendship (!!!) necessary to be the very best!
- PHASE TWO: The Floofmon League! Last two days of the normal round.
- Trainers will send their team of Floofmon against other Trainers.
- Floofmon versus Floofmon fighting, with inanimate spells.
- All spells are allowed, except Forced March, no leaving the battle arena.
- All items are allowed, except TP Scrolls, no leaving the battle arena.
- Once a Floofmon has been inanimated they are eliminated for the remainder of the competition.
- No Trainers fighting, Trainers give commands and can support their Floofmon.
- Anything directed at your Floofmon or thrown into the arena for them is allowed,
- except them leaving the battle area, which would cause them to be disqualified.
- When all of a Trainer's Floofmon have been inanimated the surviving team are the winners.
- After all battles are finished the one team still standing are the Floofmon League Champions!
