  1. Personality: At first, Kasadya will appear aloof to many people. She will seem to be in her own little world, and try to distance herself from most people. However she cares greatly about her family. She often feels at conflict with herself. Perhaps brought on by her acknowledgement that she is part demon. She fears getting attached to others because of her own fear of her Demon bloodline and not wanting to put those she cares about at risk. Even with her family she can be somewhat distant. The only living person she isn't afraid of confiding in, is her father--- Seneca Shar.
  2.
  3. Kasadya tries to be a good person, for the sake of her father and how he raised her, as well as the rest of her family. But she has clear issues with maintaining the balance of her human empathy and her demonic, evil urges. She often suffers from feeling like a burden to her elderly father. Seeing her mood-swings and emotional instability leading to messes he or her siblings have to clean up. She accepts her demon blood and tries to find a way where she thinks she can truly do good in the world, while also getting out her destructive impulses.
  4.
  5. She is prone to episodes of sociopathic mania, brought about by her early trauma as well as the swirling miasma of occultism within her body. The nature of her half-demonic heritage coming to play once these episodes become apparent she becomes a remorseless fighter who lives in the moment, feeling nothing but joy in the infliction of pain. And she displays a confidence, perhaps a vainglory of her own combat abilities. Showing off the great pride of both Dragons and Demons alike. She enters many fights with enemies of Theria, just so that when she is home, she doesn't snap on the people of her home town.
  6.
  7. Backstory: Kasadya's birth was one unexpected; due to old age and failures previously the couple had long since given up hope. To some, her birth was a terrible omen. For others, it was a blessing. Kasadya is the only living child born between Seneca V Shar and his demonic wife, Metztli. After literal decades of pregnancy complications and infant fatalities, Kasadya was the first and only child to live to be at least a year old.
  8.
  9. Because of this, her mother treasured her dearly. Sheltering the child from anyone but her family when she was small. Not wanting to risk the child being harmed while she was frail and still dependent on her parents. She spent most of her days in her mother's library. Full of books both fiction and nonfiction. As the mother spent much of her own life being greedy for knowledge. However word still got out of Kasadya's existence. And because of this, those who were discontent with one of Seneca's spouses being a demon only grew more spiteful, hearing he was harboring a Demon child. To show the world that his family was of no harm to Theria, bringing out the child seemed like a good thing to do. However the more people who saw the young girl's slitted, blood-red pupils the more people began to fear her existence. The plan to socialize the girl backfired.
  10.
  11. Instead the child began to dread going outside. Once more sheltering herself in the library the child would find herself being bullied by even her own family. The younger generation, her nieces and nephews were all about her own age due to how late she was born. This combined with an assassination attempt on herself and her mother shortly after she began to make public appearances that was half successful in killing Metztli while she got her daughter to run and hide resulted in greater grief. Eventually, she couldn't take the bullying. One day one of the cousins had the audacity to say "No use crying she was just a demon anyway."
  12.
  13. This caused Kasadya to snap hard enough that her occult affinity bubbled out and exploded. Immediately the girl's empathy was lost, and her raged had fully consumed her. With an orb of occult power channeled in her hand, she moved to blast her cousin's head off in complete reflect.
  14.
  15. Only to have the action be stopped part way through by her father's grip. Seneca decided then to spend a great deal of time tempering his youngest child, and only child he had with his deceased demon partner. He spent a good deal teaching her various ways to try and harness her anger, without causing unnecessary harm to life.
  16.
  17. By the time the girl was in her teens, however. She had already grown a craving for blood and violence. While she often tried to push it away, it caused the negativity to well up into dangerous bursts. Causing the young nephalem to lash out at just about anything with the slightest trigger. Because of this...
  18.
  19. Seneca found it fit to put his daughter in combat training. Perhaps wanting to see what her potential was or to make use of the energy she had in a way that wouldn't wouldn't harm innocent people. She was recruited under his Warband, the Golden Flame. Aiming to act as a sort of police force among the town of mercenaries. However even in her training she would sometimes snap. Be far more ruthless in even basic spars if she got too competitive. Often breaking other people's limbs and blackening faces. Her temper got the better of her far more often than she wanted. Having this sensation of burdening her father with the amount of time he had to bail her out of trouble.
  20.
  21. Eventually she broke away from the Golden Flame. She saw her power could not protect by simply standing idly bye, but the demon blood in her motivated her to action, to far more bigger goals. To only her father she stated her vow.
  22.
  23. "A dragonlord is not enough. I'll rule it all."
  24.
  25. Her desire became one of that of conquest. To end the suffering of Esshar she desired to reform the Empire of Esshar. Even if she had to break rules and break bones to do it. While it wasn't sure whether Seneca agreed with his daughters decision--- he learned it quickly drove her to power. The same power she needed to keep away those who would hunt her down due to her mixed lineage; Human and Demon alike.
  26.
  27. Kasadya moved on to form the Ivory Blades. As she inherited her father's talent for bone magic and focused her wrath on those she viewed as wicked, taking specialized rescue or assasination jobs. Within a few short years as her work as the Ivory Blade's leader she became feared for her fierce claw-like combat, using her bone magic mixed with her martial arts. The girl had become known as a fierce-some fiend in combat. When Kasadya claimed herself a Dragonlord, it came as a surprise to no one.
