  9. History: Tadashi was the first to be born into the family and he was born a month early than usual babies. He was raised in Florida, USA under Asian-American parenthood, so, he was taught on how to act like a traditional Asian young boy, while learning about the American culture, since his parents were raised in Japan. While growing up, he was homeschooled until first grade and during that year, Hiro was born and Tadashi was really excited to help his younger brother reach to the top. He and Hiro did get along and even though Hiro sometimes did try to outsmart him in the smartness department, he does tell him that he’ll be as smart as him one day. As the two brothers were at home, Tadashi did get a call from a hospital mentioning that both parents died from a car crash, so, Tadashi had to be the man of the house and raise his brother. At first, Tadashi was trying to not accept that his parents were gone too soon to see the two brothers develop fully into young men, he knew that he had to raise Hiro in order to help him lead into the right direction. So, he did teach Hiro at home until he was finally capable to go to school. While Hiro was in Middle School, Tadashi got a call from Aunt Cassie, hearing on what happened to his parents and wanting to know would be able to live at the family café. Tadashi hated to move out at first, but figured that it would be better than nothing and of course, they would earn free food throughout the day. So, Tadashi had to tell Hiro that they both had to move into Aunt Cass’s place. As soon as the two brothers moved in, they didn’t mind the change at all, especially Tadashi, who did like spending time with his aunt. A couple of years later, the café business were starting to be taken over by another company, and the family had to move out. So, Tadashi did try his best to look for a good home/café for the family to move into, and he did find one in Acarida Bay, Oregon and there was an academy named Blackwell Academy, which they could both attend at. Since Hiro graduated Middle School and Tadashi went through two years of High School in Florida, he thought that this would be a good fit. At first, Aunt Cass thought that the place looked too small, but Tadashi tried to stay positive and thought it could be a new experience and adventure for the family. So, the Hamada family moved to Oregon and the area was not that bad. So, Tadashi did attend the school for his sophomore and junior year and although he sometimes ran into a couple of issues such as his roommates making too much noise, he tried to stay calm while trying to do his work, and of course, be a good example for Hiro. While being in the academy, he did learn about a disappearance of  a student named Rachel Amber and although he did not know her that well, he learned on how to try and to keep his brother safe and at least keep an eye on him in case this ever happened to him. So, although this is his final year at the academy, he still had to watch Hiro for safety reasons.
