GX Vid 26 Notes

So this part is mainly on trying to buy out all the available packs that you can. Honestly, this took some preparation: to make this as fast as possible, before recording this vid I had to individually see how much of each packed I already had; that meant, manually buy a copy of each pack, then seeing the completion percentage (the number in red in the upper right corner). Based on that is how I decided my ratios for packs. Here are my personal notes on each one (just to note, this would be different for anyone else playing the game, depending on how much you bought for each pack, and of course RNG):

•	FIRST: BUY TO COMPLETE SPELL COLLECTION 2: 6
•	NEXT, BUY THE REST ALL AT THE SAME TIME:
•	1-A: 14, skip 1-B and 2-A
•	2-B: 10, skip 3-A and 3-B
•	4-A: 14, skip 4-B
•	1-C: 13
•	2-C: 13
•	3-C: 5
•	4-C: 14
•	Effect Monsters: 13, BUY CARDS NOW, only 99 packs at a time.
•	Trap Special 2: 12
•	Trap Special 1: 6
•	Spell Special 1: 5, skip Master Fusions
•	EMS: 12
•	Power Destructions: 7
•	Cont Effs: 27
•	Equips: 9, BUY CARDS NOW. (skip Various Fields)
•	Next, on the weekend check your overall card percentage. Get close to 86%. Reset if you get much lower.

Chumley Event
- So shortly after that, the Chumley event happens (around 1:35). This unlocks when you sleep in, in the morning while you have a high ranking in Slifer Red. The main reason to do this is to unlock Beasts in Flight, a pack available on Saturdays. Since it unlocks the week after this duel, you'll wait a week to buy all the Saturday packs.
- Around 3:40 I get Gatling Dragon with Cyber Stein. Since I've summoned, attacked, and used spells without triggering his last backrow, I figured it had to be Call of the Haunted. Cyber-Twin wouldn't win the game in the spot, so I figured Gatling was safer, especially against Chumley. Even if he just set a monster and passed next turn, something like a Nimble Momonga would have made things way longer.
- Small note: I don't attack with Cyber Stein directly since 700 more damage seemed insignificant, and probably a small time waste.

The Tuesday after, I buy Spell Special 2 since I didn't unlock it in the early game. I settled on buying it twice, 7 copies each time, since I wanted to complete it as much as possible. Without save stating, I guess 14-16 copies all at once might be enough.

On Saturday, I buy the Saturday-only packs. Here are the ratios I decided on:
•	Warriors: 6, skip Pyrogen
•	Invitation: 32
•	Beasts in Flight: 9, skip Dragons
•	Insect’s Nest: 12, don’t buy HERO.

I really wanted to get to 92%, but settled for 91%. There are actually a couple Saturday packs, that for whatever reason aren't available until the following weeks, so I'll still buy more.

So the next Tuesday, since I have over 90% of cards (at least 1080), Dorothy's Gift unlocks. I go into detail on this pack in the speedrun.com link I posted above, but basically, I decided on something a little different.

With Dorothy's Gift, instead of checking your overall card percentage on the weekend, you should COUNT out the number of new cards. You should get around 25-30 when you first buy it, I think I got 26 new cards when I bought it in the vid. Also, you'll buy this pack FIVE times total.

Next, the exam happens. Since it's random from this point on what you'll get for the Practical Exam, you'll just have to play it how you'll see it. Because the ban list changed, you kinda hope to not get a bunch of different ones, since you'll have to edit the decks you haven't touched in a while. Since I got Traps, I decided to use my Burn deck since it already runs plenty of trap cards. I only had to change a few things around: Witch for Pot of Greed, Monster Reborn for Premature. After you beat the exam, choose to stay in Slifer Red, since the Duel Academy Festival is coming up.

The next Saturday, I buy a new packs, Magician's Dance. It wasn't available the previous week. I buy about 13 copies of it.

On Tuesday, I buy Dorothy's Gift for the 2nd time, getting 23 new cards.

At the end, is the Alexis Walk Home event <3 I just surrender, since I wanted to check my overall card percentage. The very, very end is just bad editing on my part :)
